Week/fruit/EDD: 21w3d, endive, 11/8
FTM, etc: 3TM
Appointments: Appt with OB 7/15
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Pink!
Milestones: Kicking is getting more regular now
Symptoms: exhaustion, some heartburn, nasal issues (sometimes runny, sometimes congested), feeling big already, short temper
Rants: I'm now getting daily headaches and friday night the left side of my neck started hurting. That went on until this morning when I woke up and now it's the right side. WTF? I think that means it's time for another prenatal massage.
Raves: This weekend I'm meeting up with friends and going to the New Kids concert. I can't wait. It will be my first time away at night from DD2 and DH's first time staying with both kids for a partial day and a full night. He travels for work so I'm pretty excited to see how he does on his own.
GTKY: Have you started a list of things you need to buy for baby or have you already started buying? I started a registry on Amazon to track what I need to buy and get the welcome box and completion coupon. I really only need like diapers and a few other odds and ends. I had used my cousin's baby bathtub that goes in the sink for my last 2 and returned it when she had her last kid last fall and I don't think she can find it so now I will need to figure out one of those I think. Trying to decide if I should get one that goes in the bathtub or just the sink one.

Week/fruit/EDD: 19w4d/mango/Nov 21
FTM, etc: 3tm
Appointments: anatomy scan, high risk appointment, ob appointment, p17 shot all on Wednesday
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): blue
Milestones: maybe feeling first flutters...not really sure yet
Symptoms: rlp, getting uncomfortable sitting on hard surfaces quickly (is this a thing?), overheat easily
Rants: not much, ready to feel real kicks
Raves: glad I'm feeling pretty good
GTKY: Have you started a list of things you need to buy for baby or have you already started buying?
I have a registry for myself to Amazon. My mom has bought a few outfits on sale and I bought one onesie to reveal the sex to my kids. I want to buy my diaper bag because the pattern I like is discontinued but I found it on Amazon. Otherwise, I want to start buying things here and there so it doesn't all add up at once. I fudged my due date on Amazon so my completion discount will be ready on August 2 I think and you can use that for 2 purchases, I believe, so I will probably wait until that is good to buy some of the bigger things. (I'm basically starting over.)

sarahh I have never found sink baths easier, but I'm sure that depends on your particular sink vs bathtub and your height, etc. I am getting an angel care baby bath support because it looks easiest to keep clean.

jnetx, I'll have to look at that one. I usually bathe my kids together so not sure how to fit another one. We are doing a one basin farm sink in our new house so I was thinking that may be our best option since our master is on the 1st floor and baby will be with us for a while.

That's what we are doing in our new house too! We won't be moving until baby is 5 or 6 months old though.

jnetx, I think ours will be done right around when I have my c-section which is the worst timing. We will probably wait a few weeks to move closer to Thanksgiving so I can actually get around better. We will obviously have movers but I need to at least direct them where to put stuff because DH is useless with stuff like that.

H moved us into our first new build when I was on hospital bed rest with D. It'll be crazy but yall will make it work.

Week/fruit/EDD: 20w3d
FTM, etc: STM
Appointments: Anatomy scan on Wednesday. Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): pink!
Milestones: make it past the half way point! It's a good feeling.
Symptoms: some RLP but otherwise feeling good!
Rants: so jet lagged from flying home from Hawaii 😴 we got back last night and I slept like a baby and still feel so tired. Early bedtime tonight for sure!
Raves: I'm feeling so much more movement and I love it!
GTKY: Have you started a list of things you need to buy for baby or have you already started buying?
We have mostly everything from my son a few years ago. We do need to buy a new baby bathtub and an extra monitor camera since we still use the old one in DS's room, but I think that's about it for baby gear.
I've started buying diapers when I see a good deal and baby girl has a decent wardrobe already between DS's old sleepers/onesies I want to reuse and the new stuff I've bought so far.

Week/fruit/EDD: 18 weeks, sweet potato, 12/3
FTM, etc: 3rd
Appointments: AS on the 10th
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Pink
Symptoms: Physically feeling great, mentally not so much. Still in a funk, general anxiety creeping in.
Rants: Just tired of summer. It’s so damn hot (been 110 lately) and I’m running out of ideas to keep the kids entertained/burn their energy but also staying cool and not spending a whole lot of money.
Raves:
GTKY: Have you started a list of things you need to buy for baby or have you already started buying?
I bought a new changing pad cover, but everything else is still on a list (which isn’t too long since I saved a lot of stuff from DD). The biggest item we’ll need is a crib since I gave ours away last summer when we thought we were done having babies 😣.

GTKY: Have you started a list of things you need to buy for baby or have you already started buying? We will only need diapers so I newp.

Week/fruit/EDD: 16/Orange
Appointments: next week
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): pink
Milestones: 🤷♀️
Symptoms: I’m honestly just tired. I’ve been dealing with muscle soreness too. Like beyond what I would normally have from exercise- it stays around longer.
Rants: I think part of my nausea is the DHA capsule part of my prenatal. It is not sourced from fish, but I end up nauseated and with “fishy” burps anyway. I take it at night and it takes next to no time to cause nausea. Anybody have any suggestions?
Raves: I ordered some maternity clothes I’m excited about while H&M and Old Navy were having sales.
GTKY: Have you started a list of things you need to buy for baby or have you already started buying?
I’ve started registries (private, for completion coupon) which function as my lists for now. It’s mostly linens which are in need of replacement and a few new items since things like the rock n play are no no’s now.

teatime Have you tried switching vitamins? I know they are expensive so it's annoying if you aren't done with a bottle. I have been taking the rainbow lite ones and they are tough to get down but I am fine after I swallow. I used the one a days with my previous pregnancies and they didn't give me issues. Maybe try taking it like 20 minutes before dinner and see if the additional food in your stomach helps?

teatime I’ve taken the NatureMade prenatal + DHA for all my pregnancies and have had good luck with it. If you don’t want to switch (totally understandable), I find taking it with a small glass of OJ helps with the nasty burps- and vitamin C is supposed to help with iron absorption I believe. And definitely not on an empty stomach.

Week/fruit/EDD: 18 weeks/Dec 4th
FTM, etc: 2nd
Appointments: ob today; anatomy scan in 2 weeks
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): pink
Milestones:
Symptoms: rlp as per usual
Rants: stupid anterior placenta means I still haven't felt the baby.
Raves:
GTKY: Have you started a list of things you need to buy for baby or have you already started buying?
I haven't bought anything yet but I have a small list going. Most things we are going to reuse from before (Halo bassinet, swaddles, solly wrap, clothes, etc) but there are a few things I'm planning to buy specially for this baby.

teatime - I've never had any problems with mine; I take Brain Strong prenatal vitamins and the DHA is plant based, so no issues with nausea or fishy burps. I took them my last pregnancy as well, also before bed (easier for me to remember and be consistent).

teatime I second the rainbow light prenatal one. I’ve taken it all 3 pregnancies and never had any issues. I also take a separate vegetarian dha pill that hasn’t ever caused any foul taste in my mouth or nausea

My anatomy scan went well yesterday. Everything looks good and he was wiggling around. He's only measuring in the 26%ile which has me worried. My first was right at 50 the whole pregnancy and my second was big from this point on (which comes with it's own set of issues, but at least I've been through that before).

I also had my anatomy scan yesterday. Baby girl looked great! The only concern is the tech couldnt get a good look at where the cord insertion is on the placenta. So I'm getting sent to MFM for a second look. My ob said it's most likely one of 2 options; 1 being normal and 2 being something minor theyll monitor a bit closer as I get farther along. I made the mistake of googling and now I cant wait for the MFM appt because I want some clearer answers.

run4fun I am sorry for the waiting. Hopefully baby just wasn't in a good position and it's nothing.

run4fun I am sorry for the waiting. Hopefully baby just wasn't in a good position and it's nothing. Thanks, I'm hoping that is the case as well! I'm not terribly worried yet, but just want to know what we're looking at.

Thanks, all. I will look at changing brands of vitamins for sure. I have used these in every pregnancy so far so either my stomach is more sensitive or they changed the formulation. Either way, it’s not working!
