Week/fruit/EDD: 32 tomorrow due 8/14
FTM etc: STM to one very difficult (today at least) and sweet 4.5 year old DS
Appointments: PT assessment 6/24 and OB 6/24
Team: pink
Milestones: Have a small family and friends sprinkle this weekend and a small work shower Friday.
Symptoms: some Braxton Hicks, pelvic pressure and pain, some insomnia, anxiety, still nesting
Rants: the anxiety. Ugh. It’s been hard to calm it down.
Raves: the apartment is slowly coming together with all my nesting efforts. Ordered a beautiful canopy for above the crib tonight. It’ll be so pretty. 💗

Week/fruit/EDD: 38+2 / RCS in 1 week!
FTM, etc: STM
Appointments: Tomorrow
Team: Pink:)
Milestones: Just have 1 week left!
Symptoms: Still so much nausea and vomiting. The pelvic pain is ridiculous and I think my body is trying to give up walking:/
Rants: I'm stressing out about the RCS next week. My anxiety is high and manifests in worst case scenario thinking about everything. I'm going to get my OB to reassure me about everything at tomorrow's appointment and hopefully it will help. At least a bit.
Raves: The whole house is clean!!! Or as clean as it can get when you're living in your parents' house and having to fit everyone's things somewhere. All that's left is packing my hospital bag and installing the car seat (which SO won't do until he gets my car serviced...which he was supposed to do weeks ago...Grrr...somehow he managed to get both his and his mom's car done though bit somehow mine is not a priority????). And he STILL hasn't gotten his TDAP. Aparently this has become a rant and I kind of want to smack SO now.

Week/fruit/EDD: 31w5d Romain Lettuce 8/16
FTM, etc: STM
Appointments: OB 6/20
Team: Blue
Milestones: N/A
Symptoms: pelvic pain, heartburn (took my first Zantac), peeing a lot and cannot empty my bladder
Rants: DS (2.5 yo) is being so difficult right now. Like every evening is a fight and terrible. Last night after I put him in bed I just laid down and cried. I cannot imagine doing this with a newborn as well. He doesn’t listen, throws epic temper tantrums, talks back, hits... it seems nothing we are doing for discipline is working. It’s really difficult right now.
Raves: been getting lots of pool, splash pad time in this summer. This weekend we are going to the beach,

Week/fruit/EDD: 35w3d/Pineapple/7/21 (induction no later than 7/14)
FTM, etc: STM
Appointments: Regular appts with MFM for BPP/NST every Tuesday/Friday; OB tomorrow 6/20 for blood work and GBS swab
Team: Blue
Milestones: None that I know of
Symptoms: SOOOO much pelvic pressure and lightning crotch. Super fun. Feels like the baby is just going to fall out at any moment. A decent amount of contractions but nothing really painful.
Rants: My 3.5 year old is being quite....3 these days. Tantrums, defiance, wanting to BE ON ME at all times. If I hear "MOMMY" one more time I might lose my shit.
Raves: I'm just really ready to meet this kid. I'm excited. I feel like he has a personality already (hello being breech last Tuesday and then back to head down by Friday).

Week/fruit/EDD: 36w5d/papaya/July 12
FTM, etc: STM
Appointments: Growth scan and OB tomorrow
Team: blue
Milestones: none
Symptoms: I’ve been having lots of early labor signs and feel like this baby can come at any time.
Rants: I’m beyond over being pregnant and in constant pain. The pain and lack of sleep are really affecting my mental health.
Raves: SO finally got his paid family leave approved after lots of back and forth with his HR and their insurance provider, so that’s a weight lifted.

Week/fruit/EDD: 35+2/ RCS 7/19
FTM, etc: 3TM
Appointments: regular OB on mondays and NSTs on Wednesdays. Both weekly until he's here.
Team: blue
Milestones:
Symptoms: heartburn, random mystery pains, peeing all the time
Rants: My 2yo is being very 2. And trying to kill himself every chance he gets. He has the audacity to get mad when I interfere in his shenanigans. Rude. My house is a mess and I can't keep up.
Raves: We go on vacation next Friday and I cannot wait. My blood pressure has been behaving itself. I think we finally agree on a name for this baby.

Week/fruit/EDD: 35 and 2 FTM, etc: 3rd Appointments: Friday OB appointments, Wednesday NSTs Team: blue Milestones: Symptoms: tiring out easily and trying to keep up with kids and summertime Rants: Well I have a good one! Went to my NST today and they sent me to labor and delivery in the hospital (25 minutes away) for more monitoring. So I get to the hospital and the heartbeat is beautiful, 140s with plenty of accelerations. But I got admitted to L&D for “prolonged monitoring” - 6 more hours!!! I had to fight with the doctor, get her to read the printout from my morning NST, and she was shocked they sent me for that, said she would have signed off on that reading. She said the doctor who was at my office today doesn’t do OB very often anymore and she seemed to think he didn’t read it well. Anyway, it turned out to be a whole afternoon of unnecessary hospital time, it was ridiculous. Raves: I’m glad it was just a scare, and baby is doing well.

I can't believe it's almost baby day for some of you!! Squeeeeee!
Week/fruit/EDD: 34 weeks
FTM, etc: 4thTM
Appointments: Tomorrow
Team: green
Milestones: none
Symptoms: my heartburn is uncontrollable. I have been puking so much. Asking about meds other than Zantac at my appointment tomorrow!
Rants: I had to get a doctor's note for "accommodation" for school (basically so they excuse my absences after baby is born). I asked if it covered lactation breaks for the fall semester and they said that the accommodations are good for 6 months postpartum but I need a new note if I want lactation breaks. Wtffffffff.
Raves: school is helping this pregnancy fly by. Midterms are next week!! I have started freaking out about what I'm going to do if this baby comes early, but I guess I will deal with that as it comes. None of my babies have ever come early but they do tend to be non-cooperative 🤣

sammysam I hate having to nag DH about vaccinations 🙄 the worst!! Is your DH out of date on TDAP though? I assume you probably made sure he was covered for your first, and for normal people it's an every 10 years vaccine... meanwhile I've had it 4 times in the last 5 years 🤣

peachesncream I didn't make him get it with DD since no one was really talking about it then and they weren't giving it to pregnant women yet. Plus SO HATES going to the doctor. I think the last time he went was about 8 years ago:/ and I'm pretty sure he didn't get any shots at that point. I asked him to just call his doctor to confirm whether he has it or whether he needs it...but nope. I guess a phone call is too hard for him. Grrr. Even my daughter (who HATES needles) finally agreed to get her final boosters done earlier this week. And she had to get 2 needles! He is such a baby sometimes.

sammysam freaking men. My DH never got his flu shot last year despite me nagging him on a nearly daily basis. I'm still mad about it! He better get it this year.

Week/fruit/EDD: 37w4d, some sort of melon, 7/7
FTM, etc: STM
Appointments: this morning.
Team: pink
Milestones: early term.
Symptoms: Braxton Hicks, pelvic pressure, tired all the time, insomnia.
Rants: GBS positive this time around. I’m annoyed. I don’t want to have to go to the hospital that early, and I don’t want to deal with IV meds. Also my mom is coming in less than 2 weeks, and I still need to do all the cleaning/organizing so that the guest room and bonus room are useable spaces for sleeping. H was supposed to do this months ago.
Raves: rain in the forecast means the heat isn’t too unbearable right now.

Week/fruit/EDD: 31w tomorrow/ platypus/ August 23 FTM, etc: STM Appointments: MW was supposed to be rescheduled from tonight to tomorrow but they never called Team: Green Symptoms: braxton hicks/muscle spasms, occasional sciaticafatigue, occasional heartburn related to specific foods, hunger Rants: Whenever I put DD down for her nap I just want to eat and watch TV. Generally I do some tidying, but I should probably nap eventually. Came across this on SM: Pregnancy is like a Marathon, which is how I feel lately! Raves: I've been reading KonMari and the organizational part is proving helpful. I've tried the purging before (never properly though), but the idea of making sure everything related is in the same spot is very helpful and weirdly logical and obvious.

moreorless I'm GBS+ this time too. They didn't even tell me (because I'm having a RCS it doesn't matter) but an intern mentioned it in passing at me last appointment. I feel like they should have told me before now so I would have known just I'm case.

I can't get the tdap for medical reasons and the nurse yesterday was giving me a hard time about it. I told her my OB and I discussed it and I was willing to try it, but my OB didn't want to take the risk while I am pregnant. She just kept going on and on about the risk I was putting the baby in and she really made me feel like shit about the whole thing.

I’m also GBS+. I was last pg too. It showed up in my urine super early this time around so they prescribed me a round of antibiotics to bring the #s down. I wish I wasn’t this time since I’m attempting a VBAC and you have to go to the hospital so early if you are.

On the note of GBS, I was negative last time but my MW recommended taking a probiotic in late third tri to help with it. Has anyone done that? When did you start?

How early are they telling you all to get to the hospital? I forget if I was negative once or positive all three times. Twice I was induced, so NBD because I was in the hospital and on fluids for freaking ever, but I just looked to confirm and I was for sure positive with my second - she was born 2 hours after we arrived at the hospital and that was plenty of time for them to push a full bag of antibiotics. I have been diagnosed through my urine in early pregnancy twice, I'll get the fun swab this time and we'll see :-P

But if it doesn’t break I’m not 100%.
