Week/fruit/EDD: 12 weeks/ apricot/ 12/30
FTM, etc: STM
Appointments: NT scan on Wednesday
Team BLUE
Milestones: LAST WEEK OF FIRST TRIMESTER!
Symptoms: Not too many. I still have no energy in the evenings and I had a little bit of nausea again last week.
Rants: We told our families this weekend and it went about as well as I expected. My ILs are thrilled and my family is less than interested.
Raves: Excited for team blue, excited for low risk NIPT results, excited for our NT scan this week to see our little dude again. Mh and I talked a little more about his name this weekend and decided to go back to one of our previous picks; he'll be Ev.an Wil.liam, and Mh likes EV (Ee-Vee) as a nickname. ALSO, because I'm in this weird not-sick I-don't-feel-pregnant stage, I pulled out the doppler this morning and was able to find his heartbeat right away.
GTKY: Summer begins officially this week! Do you have any fun vacation plans? We're going to the beach for four days in August and I'm excited about that.

Appointments: AS on 7/3!

Milestones: My H was able to feel baby girl kick the other night! Way earlier that he was able to feel our son.
Symptoms: not much really! Just trying to get over a cold right now.
Rants: taking my 3 hr GTT tomorrow and expecting to fail...again. GD diagnosis here I come.
Raves: I promise I'll shut up about this after this week....leaving for Hawaii in a couple days!
GTKY: Summer begins officially this week! Do you have any fun vacation plans?
Hawaii this week, coastal Maine at the end of July, and maybe a trip to Myrtle Beach in Sept even though that not summer anymore.

Ooh Hawaii! run4fun that sounds awesome. Maine does too; I've never been there. We're also planning a trip to NYC at the end of September — I think it will still *technically* be summer lol. And I do want to plan a few day trips maybe. Mh recently found out he's going on an international business trip next month, which is a lot.

FTM, etc: 3tm
Appointments: shot and cervix check with MFM on Friday
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): blue
Milestones: decided on a name! Benj.amin Landr.y
Symptoms: rlp, hard time sleeping
Rants: I really miss soda. I am keeping my morning coffee so I am missing my afternoon coke so bad. Decaf tea isn't cutting it.
Raves: generally feeling pretty good
GTKY: Summer begins officially this week! Do you have any fun vacation plans?
My mom and I are taking a mini-trip to San Antonio with the kids today-Wednesday. We have a bunch of trips home scheduled for birthday parties/wedding and baby showers/visiting my brother home on leave. In August, we are doing a long weekend at the coast.

jnetx , I love his name! In the afternoons, have you tried flavored seltzer? It took a little bit of an adjustment but I figured out what I really wanted was the bubbles.

Week/fruit/EDD: 19w3d/Mango/11/8
FTM, etc: 3TM
Appointments: AS tomorrow!
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Pink
Milestones: We also decided on a name - Su.tton Jan.e
Symptoms: exhaustion, rlp, heartburn, anxiety
Rants: My almost 4 year old has been awful these past few weeks. This morning she told me I was "rude" for not letting her rinse her toothbrush herself. And yesterday she said multiple times that I "was not her best friend." So it's been super fun as I've attempted to be patient with her.
Raves: I'm anxious/excited for the AS tomorrow morning. I hope everything checks out okay.
GTKY: Summer begins officially this week! Do you have any fun vacation plans? We are going to the beach in July for 5 days and just booked a condo in Myrtle Beach for labor day. DH only gets 3 weeks vacation (I get 26 days) so we are trying to save as much as we can of his for after the baby is born.

sarahh love you name choice! We are also using Jane as a middle name, Za.ra Ja.ne. Also my almost 4 year is being a pain lately and really testing boundaries. Some days are so frustrating because he literally seems to not give a crap if he gets in trouble 🤦♀️ he told me he didnt like me anymore a few times last week and it sorta broke my heart the first time he said it. notblanche, Maine is beautiful! We have a summer house up there and try to go up every couple years. It's always one of those relaxing laid-back kind of trips, I love it.

I love the name run4fun! It's nice to have decided on a name already. I don't think we agreed on my other girls' names until like a week or two before they were born. A lot of people told me that 3 is the worst age and recently as we are approaching 4 next month, I've heard 4 is worse. I really hope that's not the case. She is mean to DH and I and says hurtful things. Luckily she doesn't act this way at daycare but it's still annoying and hurts our feelings.

We narrowed DS's name down to 2 options but didn't pick one until he was born. I've heard mixed things about 4. I'm worried about his current behavior escalating once the new baby is here. Hes excited about his baby sister, but obviously doesnt fully grasp how it will change our current routine. I'm grateful well have family in town visiting when the baby comes, so he'll have a little more attention from grandparents than if it were just us at the beginning.

sarahh and run4fun 4 was a challenging age for sure- my DS was really wanting to be independent and his emotions were getting bigger. It was a real test of patience (and still is now that he’s newly 5). Definitely better than age 3, though, because communication was so much better.

How is it that June is already halfway over??
Week/fruit/EDD: 15w6d, 12/3
FTM, etc: 3rd
Appointments: Routine checkup tomorrow morning
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Pink
Milestones:
Symptoms: Not much going on here, some RLP if I change positions too fast.
Rants: Both kids ended up with pink eye last week and giving the eye drops has been HELL. DS gives us such a hard time about it (he may have some sensory issues) and it’s so frustrating.
Raves: I seem to have avoided the sicknesses in my house.
GTKY: Summer begins officially this week! Do you have any fun vacation plans?
We already spent some time at the river and the beach, and we don’t have much planned for the rest of summer- which isn’t too much longer because DS starts kindergarten in early August. In July I may take the kids to visit my family in NM to escape the heat here.

So I just got back to work after my AS and everything looked great! That was a big weight off my shoulders. She is measuring about a week ahead, is 12 oz and had a HR of 148. DH brought my kids but they weren’t cooperating so he left after like 15 minutes to take them to daycare. It was kind of nice getting to see everything alone after the left. Hopefully this pic isn’t huge.

I'm almost done with my 3 hour GTT. Ugh. The 100g drink really is the worst, so much sugar on an empty stomach. 🤢
I've been using my glucose meter and testing along at each hour. So far fasting was good, 1 hour was WAY elevated (as I assumed it would be), and 2 hour was normal by my meter (color me shocked!). Reading online my meter can vary by up to 20 numbers in either direction from the lab draw. So I might be with range, but it might be high by lab standards. My luck it will be high, but I have another 20 minutes before I can test again and get my final blood draw.
ETA: my final meter test came back way under range (79), I'm even more shocked. Now I'm wondering if it's still relatively accurate. Now it's just a wait and see what the lab gets for numbers.

Week/fruit/EDD: 16 weeks avocado 12/4
FTM, etc: STM
Appointments: July 3
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): pink
Milestones:
Symptoms: a lot of rlp
Rants: I'm still so stressed out this pregnancy and I feel so guilty because part of me is wishing that I didn't get pregnant with this baby. She is very much wanted but I miss being on a permanent cloud nine because of the stress. And all this anxiety is doing nothing for my blood pressure and I really don't want to end up on meds even though things may be heading that direction. I'm also unimpressed with my ob's new nurse. I miss the old one terribly.

Not just yet. We're planning on doing a babymoon in late August/Sept but that will probably be it because my H can never get time off work.
