One thing I'm looking forward to when I stop bf is throw out all of my nursing bras. I loathe them and want to start wearing pretty bras again with a little push up😉

It's almost like Haley has forgotten how to roll over. At bedtime, I usually put her on her belly now. The other night she got onto her back and cried until I came in and flipped her. Then tonight after her bath, she just laid there. I tried walking out, but she just cried for a few minutes laying on her back.

Solidarity sasam. I put Charlie to bed at 6:30 and he was up twice by 8:45. I am nursing him now and we just gave him ibuprofen. Last night, he would spit out his paci as soon as I gave it to him, and he is hard to transfer right now. He is also just being a stinker in general right now-yelling a lot, very demanding, hard to keep content. Daycare is saying the same. FWIW, their ears can bother them during teething. But it looks like multiple LOs are having sleep shenanigans right now. Get it together babies.

I finally have some small breathing room at work this week and it is glorious. DD1 started camp yesterday and says this big kid is being mean to her. I feel bad because this kid is the oldest at camp by far (11 years old). So I talked to her about how he might be feeling and how to advocate for herself. Parenting is exhausting.

How old is you DD1? 6.5yrs. I will intervene if it keeps happening. This is the camp at the daycare she attended for 5 years and both her sisters are there. She is very loved and and cared for there so I see it as a safe space to practice some life skills.

I woke up at 2am and couldn’t fall back asleep until 3. Boo.
My oldest (turns 5 in a couple weeks) is scheduled to have her tonsils and adenoids out on Monday. But she has developed a small cough and her voice is coarse. Hopefully that’s the extent of whatever she is fighting because if I have to cancel the surgery then I won’t have time to reschedule it before she starts school. Ugh fingers crossed.

Last night, he was spitting it out and it would land in the crook of my arm/where he was cradled, and then he was licking it and giggling. Adorable, but, like, GO TO SLEEP!

Z slept through until 4:30 and I was able to get him back down again until it was time to get up for the day. It's the first night of decent sleep in a while.
His big toe got ran over by a push toy or something yesterday at daycare. They said he didn't cry or anything so they had no idea anything had happened until they saw blood. It looks pretty painful. He lost a good chunk of skin. It's right at the base so I couldn't get a band-aid to cover it. He's still happy as a clam, but I feel bad for him. It can't feel good.

I hope you get a job offer soon klw! Amazing job notmoose! I've been eating healthier, however, I think I really need to count calories because nothing is coming off. I do feel less bloated in general, though.

Speaking of ditching nursing bras. I've completely weaned and I need new bras. My boobs have grown so much that my old bras don't fit. Any recommendations for good bras? I have a pretty big chest (DDD) so I'd need something that can provide a lot of support. I've actually thought about a breast reduction but that won't be anytime soon.

I called the ENT that is going to do my daughters surgery and since she is acting sick they are going to call in antibiotics to make sure she will be good to go Monday.

If it helps, when my oldest had her adenoids out and tubes in (3rd time!) she had a very bad cold. If we could only do it when she wasn't sick it wouldn't have happened. I hope they can stick to the original date.

MH got C from DC this evening and he felt really hot. Almost 102 fever 😭. He didn't want his dinner which is sad to me. He always wants food. I pray it's not a stomach thing. We gave him motrin and put him to bed.

Oh boo to being sick on the weekend goldenbird. You usually know pretty quickly if it's a stomach bug. Probably some random daycare virus. I hope he goes easy on you guys tonight.

I got a job offer! It is for a child life specialist at a center just for kids with medical needs. I went last week to spend some time with the other therapists and with some kids on the floor. I was mainly in the "toddler room". Some of the kids were preemies (born at 23 and 24 weeks), another boy was born addicted to drugs. Another little girl recently had her colostomy bag removed. I asked for a few days to think about it. The pay is better then what I was making before. I wanted benefits because the ones at H's company are getting more expensive. But the weekly payment seems high so I think we will stay on his.
And I was hoping to get a call from our local school district which is where I interviewed first. The money would be about $15,000 less, but the time off with my kids and benefits would be great.

Well I woke up at 5 and went to get the monitor from MH's room. I'm assuming the baby did ok to that point since I told MH to give him tylenol if he needed to or come get me and he didn't need to do either. I think C is semi awake so I'm about to go in and get him and see what him temp is.

Just at 100.4 this morning on the warmer side of his head. Yay! I know it might go up this afternoon/evening though.

Z also came home with a fever last night. I'm not sure what's wrong yet. He's not acting like it's a ear infection and other than being kind of tired and cranky he does t have any other symptoms. He's been napping for 2 hours since he was up at 4:30.

klw congrats on the offer! Did the school district give you a timeline for follow up? Might be worth reaching out to them for an update. If the position doesn’t start until fall, they may not be eager to fill it just yet.

Well it looks like there are four top teeth about to pop through. OMG. No wonder he's so fussy. I'll keep an eye on his temp. I really hope it's not ears since he just finished abx last Sunday.

Ugh poor thing, 4 teeth at once sounds brutal. Ds2 had 3 at once. 2 are through now and 1 is alllllmost there. Hope he feels better soon!

C has all of a sudden over the last week learned this crawl/scoot thing and as of today he is officially all over the place!! We are going to be frantically babyproofing and moving a few things around. It's a hilarious butt scoot but he uses his right leg to propel himself forward and his arms of course. And he's so fast.
