Week/fruit/EDD: 18w3d, croissant or artichoke, 11/8
FTM, etc: 3TM
Appointments: AS next tuesday! I can't wait
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Pink!
Milestones: n/a
Symptoms: exhaustion, back pain, heartburn
Rants: My anxiety has been crazy the past two weeks. I have been using my doppler a lot more and luckily have been able to find the HB each time so I haven't spiraled. I am definitely going to mention it to my OB but I don't think there is much they can do for it except refer me for counseling.
Raves: Yesterday was my 40th birthday. I don't feel that old. Today I came into work and some girls in my department had decorated my office with streamers and signs and one girl made cupcakes so that was fun.
GTKY: How much maternity leave are you planning to take and/or is your SO going to take any time off after baby comes? I plan to take 8 weeks then maybe come back 1/2 days for 2 weeks. We'll see.
Oops forgot to add DH - I think he is going to take off however many days we're in the hospital (RCS) then do half days for 2 weeks. At least he can get my other girls to and from daycare since I won't be able to drive.

Week/fruit/EDD: 16w4d/avocado/Nov 21
FTM, etc: 3tm
Appointments: progesterone shot on wednesday
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): blue
Milestones: started progesterone shots
Symptoms: need to eat often, rlp
Rants: nothing really
Raves: glad that we can talk names and pick out smaller things now that we know it's a boy
GTKY: How much maternity leave are you planning to take and/or is your SO going to take any time off after baby comes?
I am back to being a SAHM full time now. We haven't really talked about how much time H will take. With D it was all messed up because he was in the NICU. With T, I think he took two weeks but I can't remember. It will depend on how many days he has to use/if he is still working from home a lot and how much my mom is able to be around. She should be closing on her house around when the baby is born.

Week/fruit/EDD: 17w3d, Nov 15
FTM, etc: STM
Appointments: Thursday for 18 wk check up and 1 hr glucose test
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): pink!
Milestones: definitely feeling baby movements now! Love it!
Symptoms: not too much thankfully! I have been getting headaches lately, which might be a pregnancy thing.
Rants: I'd love for my face to stop breaking out so bad right now.
Raves: just counting down the days until our Hawaii trip next week!
GTKY: How much maternity leave are you planning to take and/or is your SO going to take any time off after baby comes?
I work very part time (twice a week at our church) and I'm thinking about 6 weeks, but plan to play it by ear. I know I felt good by 6 weeks last time, but at 4 weeks I was still hurting somewhat.
My H will take his 21 days of paternity leave that the military gives now. It was only 10 days a few years when our son was born, so I'm thankful he gets more time this time around!

Week/fruit/EDD: 13w / peach
Appointments: not until July
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): just found out a few minutes ago- team pink!
Milestones: I’m not sure.
Symptoms: I’m back to full time nausea and the vomiting resumed over the weekend. I can’t take it anymore and am considering talking to my OB about unisom/b6.
Rants: the nausea. Still. I never know what I can eat and cooking is a huge struggle.
Raves: I can think about names and stuff now!
GTKY: How much maternity leave are you planning to take and/or is your SO going to take any time off after baby comes? I wfh so I can make my own schedule. Previously I’ve just eased back into it as I felt ready. MH only gets a day or two. It’s pretty terrible.

teatime Talk to your doctor. You don't have to be on your deathbed to ask for something to help and it sounds like you are pretty miserable.

Congrats on team pink teatime! Definitely dont feel bad asking your doctor for something. I utilized b6/unisom pretty regularly all the way through 15 weeks this pregnancy. It definitely helped me feel better at times and was worth it! Also, is anyone actually team blue yet? Definitely is year of the girls it seems!

run4fun Yep, I'm blue. I was hoping for a girl, but I guess I'm meant to be a boy mom.

teatime just to echo- talk to your OB about the unison/b6! I did it for the few weeks that my nausea was out of control and it really helped a lot. I hope you can find some relief!

Week/fruit/EDD: 15 weeks, avocado, 12/3
FTM, etc: 3rd
Appointments: June 18th
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Pink
Milestones: Maybe felt baby move?? Buuuut honestly it may have been gas in one instance, ha.
Symptoms: None recently. Whew.
Rants: My anxiety has been bad lately, too- mostly due to the fact that we were on a road trip for 2 weeks (just got home late last night) and I am all out of sorts. No routine, regularly changing locations, too much freaking time in the car with my family. I love them but my gosh I need a break. And now my H has a cold and I can’t deal.
Raves: We announced on social media! Still keeping it under wraps that it’s a girl, though. I kind of want to have that secret for longer.
GTKY: How much maternity leave are you planning to take and/or is your SO going to take any time off after baby comes?
My H’s work implemented a new paternity leave policy since we had DD so I don’t know all the specifics, but I believe he’ll get at least 2-3 weeks. Previously he had to use vacation time, so it’s a step up.

I've been convinced we're having a girl, which I also thought was the case with M, so it's likely I'll be wrong again.

Week/fruit/EDD: 11+1/ brussels sprout/ 12/30
FTM, etc: STM
Appointments: NT scan next week
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): I want to knowwwwww.
Milestones: I wore my pre-pregnancy jeans to work yesterday? LOL. I don't think that counts. But I was surprised they still buttoned. I lost a bunch of weight last year and I'm struggling with the idea of my body changing so much again.
Symptoms: Constipation, RLP
Rants: We're supposed to tell our families this weekend and I'm feeling less than excited about it — my family in particular. We don't ever see them unless we make the plans, and it's wearing me down. I confronted my mom about it this morning and the conversation was awkward at best.
Raves: My annual review at work is today; I scored "exceeds requirements" in every category and overall. It makes me happy to know that my work is valued. Now I have everything crossed they're going to give me the telework day I've been asking for. I also have my first appointment with a new therapist this afternoon. These are good things.
GTKY: How much maternity leave are you planning to take and/or is your SO going to take any time off after baby comes?
I need to schedule the meeting with HR but I hope to take 13 weeks off followed by three weeks of transition back to full time. I had thought I might want to transition to part time, but now I'm not so sure. We have a great daycare situation lined up and I love my job. Mh will take two or three weeks, unsure, depending on how much PTO and sick time he has.

I hear you guys on talking to the doctor. I think I’m hesitant because I keep feeling like it has to be over soon. I’m getting the idea that I’m going to be dealing with some of this for the whole pregnancy, though.
