alwayscheese my baby is wearing anything from 12 month to some 18-24 month. I haven't bought any 2T yet, but sizing is so variable from brand to brand. On the topic of sizes, I bought some 18 month things from H&M and even though they're all technically the same size, some things fit her like a glove right now and some are so big they're big on my 2.5 year old who wears mostly 3T 🙄

Worst. Ya I have some bow tie onesies from H&M that DS is wearing 6-9m for church right now. I understand different brands having different fits, but wow.

Is anyone buying 2T clothes yet? DS is wearing 18m but I'm browsing Kidizen and thought I could buy ahead, but I cannot fathom buying 2 T. L is just starting to wear 12 month clothes 😂 my little shrimpy guy! Mine too!! Well we can do 12 month in sleepers but we are still in 9 months for everything else. We joke that he doesn’t grow. I swear he’s been the same size since his 6 month appointment. 😂

All my 18mos stuff from DD1 is summer so I’m stuck in the limbo where she really will need long sleeve stuff in the next size but the weather will probably turn before she gets much use out of it.

We are in 12 months pretty solid. She’s been in 12 months since 9 months.

We have been in 12 months sizes forever. She's just starting to outgrow it, but all of the 18 month stuff I've been given is summer and we still have a few months of cold left. Guess we're going shopping!

Is anyone else still struggling with sleep? We can't be the only ones. E still has 2-3 hours of awake time in the motn and has been waking earlier every day because of the dang sunshine. She's passing out by 8 am and if she has a good nap in the morning, it's shit in the afternoon. I'm wondering if I should cut her down to one nap. Geeze, I'm so tired. I go back to work on Wednesday.

I’m buying size 12-18m for summer but we’re still very comfortable in size 6-12m right now. I feel like he’s been ~17lb forever!

I go back to work on Wednesday. what does her schedule usually look like? DD2 is usually: Wake up/Nurse: 630am Breakfast: 730/8 Bottle/Nap start: 930/10 Wake up: by 11,usually earlier Lunch: 12 Bottle/Nap: 130/2 Wake up: by 3 Nurse: 430/5 Dinner: 6 Bath:630 Nurse/bed: 7/730 I think I’m missing a bottle/nursing session in there some where. She sleeps in flannel pjs with a flannel sleep sack (and a blanket, don’t tell on me, she runs cold like her mama) with a noise machine on LOUD. She also has blackout curtains. If she wakes up it’s usually at about midnight or 4am. We are no longer doing night feeds and try to give her 10-15 minutes to settle herself back down. She doesn’t hysterically cry, it’s more that she’s pissed/tired. I’ve found that doing the “we love you, go back to sleep” checks makes things ten times worse so I avoid going in at all costs. Her room is right next to ours so we’ve turned down the sound on the monitor pretty low. We’d know if she was really upset but now I can’t hear the fussing/settling. DD1 would be hysterical at night and flat out wouldn’t be sleep trained. I swear I have PTSD from that/years of sleep deprivation so I struggled giving DD2 the opportunity to learn to soothe herself. Bc the sound on the monitor is a bit lower, I sleep better and don’t wake up with every noise.

Leaf 🌱Our schedule is different depending on the day but generally good days are the ones when the big kid is at school 🙃 only twice a week. 6:30/6:45 wake and nurse 7:15 breakfast and play 8:45 preschool drop off 9:30-10:30 nurse and nap 10:30 wake-up, snack and play 12:30 lunch 1:45/2:00-3:00 nap. She has been refusing this one. I have tried earlier or later and it rarely works. 5:00 dinner 6:00 bath, jammies and story 7:00 nurse and bed The days when ds is home he is a huge distraction and we usually have a playgroup or therapies in the morning. We've been without a car this winter so we have to leave earlier and I just cross my fingers and hope she has a half hour nap while we are travelling. She usually does not, but instead falls asleep on the way home around 12:00 and will sleep for about 40 minutes and wake up the second we walk in the door. Then no afternoon nap and goes to bed earlier. She is majorly overtired but his routine is so important. Having good naps or skipping them entirely has no impact on her night time sleep. She is either up 2-4 times or sleeps great until 11:30 and is awake until 2.

we are also struggling with sleep. it’s not horrible but i can’t get her bedtime past 6ish right now because our afternoon nap is cut short by pick up. i’m not really sure how to change it at this point and it’s not usually a problem until we have something going on in the evenings and then she is just a mess. wake up is around 6 and first nap starts anywhere from 7:15- 9:30 depending on if dd1 goes to preschool that day. the next nap is usually 2.5 hrs after wake up from first nap. she’ll wake up anywhere from 1:30-2 and if it’s a preschool day there’s no chance at a late nap. when we’re home on the other days she basically refuses a late nap. i think it’s just second kid problems for us and i’m hoping it will just resolve itself as she gets older but i feel bad that her routine is just no routine. i finally eliminated one motn wake up so at least there’s that and the monitor broke in my suitcase on vacation and i know it’s probably better for sleep in the long run to not have one (our room is right next door and i can hear pretty much anything but i like the option of having the video to make sure everything is alright). i guess what i am saying is i have no advice but we are in the same boat too.
in other news i just got an $1800 bill from the hospital for her birth today😑 i am not happy. like how does it take a year to bill the insurance company? i feel like they make things so confusing on purpose. it’s not like we haven’t paid anything - lots of smaller bills came through right off the bat.

I’m avoiding my family a bit here so I’ll keep posting.
Did I tell you guys I finally went to see a pelvic floor physio? I was so nervous and put it off forever. I shouldn’t have. It was fantastic. It didn’t really hurt all (compared to paps and birth and cevic checks and IUDs and other vag bullshit) and it’s really been helping. I wish I had gone 5 years ago when I had L.
So. If you’re on the fence, you should go. Truly!

Happy Birthday baby sunshinedaisies! I think J is trying to keep up with his sister. He is currently learning how to climb and starting to walk at the same time. He is so proud of himself when he climbs up on the couch! Now to try to figure out how to get him to stop.
