OMG What a week.

We are in the house and the twins moved to big kid beds all at once. We're about 80% unpacked, we have no table to eat at (the kids have a small plastic table and I ordered a real dining room set last night), two of the sinks are leaking, and the internet has yet to be installed. But it feels damn good.

Hi friends! I’m at work, but thankfully I have Thurs and Fri off this week because a long weekend sounded like something I needed in my life. Currently on a phone call and haven’t listened much 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thurs the kids are going to dc and H and I are running a bunch of errands that are easier without kids. Friday, plans are up in the air, but hopefully something fun with the kids like an indoor water park and fish fry at night!

Snow day here~ Our speech person cancelled even though the actual facility is open. I'm frustrated because I woke up early to see they were open and I plowed to make sure she could come up the driveway and she texted like 5 minutes before I finished that she wasn't coming. I had questions and am kind of sad that I'll have to wait another week to ask them.

yay starbuck for being in the new house. I hope this separation brings you closer to your ILs after they get over the fact that you didn't buy their house.

Hi all. I’m about to put the kids down for a nap and grab some lunch. B had school today and one of the moms stopped me to give me a birthday invitation for B. It’s his first friend birthday party!

I had my first midwife appt this morning. I forgot just how much there actually was to do because the second half of my pregnancy with C was pretty boring with quick and easy appointments. They want to do a dating ultrasound this week so that's exciting!! I just have to reschedule because of course I picked a time that I have an important meeting I can't skip.

Other than that, just trying to catch up at work after being off for 2 days. Didn't take much to get through my emails but now I'm trying to remember what I needed to do this week.

tgrimes, I emailed her! I have never done it before so I wasn’t sure if I could but I texted the special instructor and she gave me her email address. I’m wondering if the special instructor is her mom or MIL (same last name and not very common).

TMI: I think I’m a sick, I’ve had tummy issues but not throwing up for a few days! Now I have diarrhea so Daniel Tiger is caring for L!

We're almost done with season 6 in our rewatch. I bet if you Google recaps, there will be a ton of articles.

DH is going offshore Wednesday. Not much notice, but I can't compqin because he's been home 6 weeks and really needs a shift. They're being dicks about that positin though. They were supposed to announce this week and now all of a sudden today said they have more interviews so can't announce yet. DH thinks this means someone at the top has a friend/family they are pushing to be interviewed that weren't in the 6 initially selected, so he's feeling pretty pessimistic about his chances now. So that really sucks.

danib, this industry is seriously effed when it comes to some “big wig’s” friend or family member. DH has been screwed several times by someone’s buddy. Come to find out they are less qualified and DH usually has to train them. I’m sorry for YH.

It's happened before but not with one this important. We don't have a definite answer yet but that's how it looks. And it sucks. Hopefully he's wrong..

I hope he's wrong too. And maybe they just want to give the appearance of considering this other person or something.
