My kid is a clingy mess and I’m over it. I started WW again on Monday and I’m starving. I just want my pre baby body back. Pity party, table for one. The beginning is always hard... how many points did they give you?... personally I found WW too penalizing on certain things I enjoy. I very much enjoy eating carbs and some dairy and don’t want to feel deprived the rest of the day. I just had another coworker who I haven’t seen in awhile make a comment about my appearance this week, I wish 20lbs would just disappear overnight and I could work on my Fitness. |

Now that it’s getting warmer outside I could start running again though. |

My house is on the market as of this morning 😳 The house we like is still available so keeping everything crossed that our house sells quickly (average is like 3-4 months, market isn’t awesome unfortunately) and we can get the other house and get DD’s school registration transferred before offices close for summer. Seems like that’s a lot of dominos to fall into place 😬

I am of course now spiralling on Pinterest boards of all the things I want to do at the house we like 😬 I should probably stop looking just in case it doesn’t work out...

MIL asked if I wanted to run to target...5 hours and 3 different targets later im finally back home. I’m so tired now. There goes my plan for a pedicure.

We celebrated DD1s 4th bday a few days early. She wanted a “Sophia the First” party and was happy as a clam to play with her grandparents and cousins all afternoon. DD2 was excited for all the food 🤣
Actually, DD2 woke up at like 5am (per her new normal 😩) so H got her down for a morning nap before the party knowing she’d probably be a holy terror tonight with no PM nap. She was actually really good but just needed to mostly stay within touching distance of me all day which is always exhausting.

And if one more person tells me, “you’ll miss this someday” I will throat punch them. Because of course I’ll miss it. My first baby is turning 4 on Monday. I know how fast this goes.
But I also just miss going to get a glass of water by myself or peeing by myself or just standing somewhere without a toddler on my hip for the entire afternoon.
I am not wishing DD2 to suddenly be 4 yrs old as well. I am just touched out right now. 😑😑😑

I totally get it danvers. DS2 is whiny and fussy and when he isn't clinging to us he's getting into everything. On top of all that, he sleeps like 💩. It is so incredibly exhausting. I just want to get past this really tough stage. |

danvers Happy birthday to your DD1! I also commiserate on the touched out feeling. DS2 is getting his 3rd and 4th molars right now, and he is so clingy and generally grumpy. curmudgeon I love Target and miss it a lot, BUT - 3 Targets and 5 hours would kill me a little bit too. doodlemommy Exciting news about your house being listed! For the house that you want to buy, could you put In an offer now, with a contingency that your current home sells?

It’s so hot today. We decided to get out early, so we could spend the lunch hour and afternoon in the comfort of our air conditioned home 😊. We went to the big Japanese book store, which the kids looooved. DS2 read a million Spot books, and DS1 discovered the awesomeness of the Harry Potter illustrated books. I CANNOT WAIT for DS1 to be old enough to read the illustrated Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. It’s so cool!
After the book store, we picked up take away lunch at a French bakery/cafe - their baguettes are perfect. Just the right amount of crispiness on the outside, chewiness on the inside, and a hint of sourness. I want to go to Paris...le sigh....I’ll settle for reading Babar with DS1 tonight.

I hope everyone had a good weekend! We didn’t do too much, I have to set up a babysitter so we can go see Captain Marvel next weekend. In laws are back down in Costa Rica buying a property, I can’t wait to see what they get. doodlemommy Fingers crossed that everything goes well and you can sell your house. |

Taitai we could make a conditional offer and we still might. The hard thing is we have about $60 000 in renovations we want to do and what we are willing to spend on the house all comes down to what our house would sell for. If it’s not this house another good one will come up I’m sure, especially since we are willing to put the work into it. So it’s kinda a waiting game while we wait to see what kind of interest there is in our house

DS is sick 😞 Like feverish and coughing super hard, he has been on and off sleeping all afternoon. neither of my kids have ever been sick like this before, we’ve only had colds before now! Oh, and DD has one 24 hour stomach bug. He’s not sick enough to need to take in quite yet I don’t think but I feel bad for the little guy! I gave him some Motrin but I think I will be up a lot with him tonight, he keeps coughing himself awake

August Blooms We really want to see Captain Marvel too! I am hoping for a date night with DH soon so we can catch it at the theaters. Exciting about CR! Isn’t your MIL really sick though? Will they be able to access decent medical care if they follow through on the purchase? @doodlommy Gotcha - lots of moving parts! I will keep my fingers crossed for it all to turn out perfectly! Your poor kiddos - hope they feel better soon.
