I want to reorganize my clothes so that I don’t need two dressers. I’m curious how others manage their wardrobe. What furniture, clothing caragories, and systems do you use?
My current situation-
Hanging rod in closet goes: Empty hangers workpants and jumpsuits Skirts Casual/work dresses Shirts Sweaters that need to be on hangers so they don’t wrinkle Special occasion dresses
Shoes are on a rack in the closet and a hanging shoe holder over the door.
5 drawer dresser: Underwear and bras Socks and miscellaneous (swim, shapewear, etc) Shirts and tank tops Jeans, leggings, workout pants Sweaters
3 drawer dresser: Sweatshirts Pajamas Sentimental things I don’t wear (these could be put away somewhere, but I haven’t bothered because I don’t need the room as long as I have to use a second dresser anyway).

I hang all tops, all bottoms - clothes worn to work or school (except MH's are folded as he gets dirty at work)
in drawers are - underwear, bras, sleeping clothes, socks, swim suits, sweat shirts and sweat pants
I don't own tank tops, leggings etc
this pretty much is the system for everyone in the house.

^ This is pretty much what I do. Hanging stuff organized by type and how often I wear it. Also a bar to hang scarves and shawls, which I wear frequently. Also drawer space for shapewear. Don’t have a shoe solution right now.
