Month/Cycle: 27/FET #1
Timing: FET
CD/DPO: basically 1dpo
Symptoms: Started progesterone yesterday and the symptoms have already started. Nausea, headache, etc. Plus my butt is sore!
RRCS: H is OOT so I have to give myself my PIO injections. My REs office gave me some samples of lidocaine patches so I've used those and it makes it super easy - no pain! Well I called in for a prescription and the NP that I dislike called me back, she was like "we didn't know you were on those, they aren't approved, and they're really expensive" blah blah blah...then she called in the prescription. I don't know why she has to be a pain. Anyway, I'll see tomorrow how expensive they actually are.

Yogurt - have you started progesterone injections? How's it going? Well...no. I read more about them the night before I was supposed to start and then I chickened out. In a study of 8500 women on the Makena shot, 192 had stillbirth. That's 2.2% up from 1% in the average pregnant population. Also, I'm not convinced it's even the appropriate intervention for the possible cause of my preterm birth. When my placenta with Ramona was sent to the lab, it was in the <5th%ile. So does the prog just help with preterm birth due to cervical issues or does it also help with small placenta, I don't know. I don't even know if the small placenta caused my preterm labor. Also, my mom had my older sister as a preemie and then 3 full term births. I just can't reconcile that increase in stillbirth. So the next question for my doc is do the suppositories help? Not at all, almost as much...or what? There were no ill effects of the suppositories that I found, so I'd rather stay on those. I wonder how my OB will react to my resistance. The day I was supposed to start them I called and spoke to a nurse, left a detailed message with him of my concerns and I never heard back, which suits me just fine because I don't want to be guilted or pressured into the shots Tl;dr I never started the shots. I'm too scared of the side effects. I hope all is well with you and your upcoming cycle is the one that works. I cannot tell you how much I think of you and am hoping for the very best outcome soon.

Cycle/month: 16
Timing: -5,-3,-1,+1
CD/DPO: CD28/13DPO
Symptoms: sore boobs and cramping
RRCS: I’m fairly certain that I’m out this cycle. My temps have been dropping over the last couple days and I started spotting yesterday, which is normal pre AF. I think CD 1 will most likely be tomorrow. I’m a little more bummed than usual, I was really hoping this cycle would be it so we wouldn’t have to do go ahead with IUI.

Yogurt, I totally get why you chose not to go ahead with the shots. It's so difficult to know exactly what happened with your pregnancy with R or what the future will be. I mean, maybe if you went into early labor this time they'd be able to stop or stall it, who knows - just make sure you aren't in denial this time I totally forgot to pick up those lidocaine patches today. The pharmacy doesn't open until 10am so tomorrow morning's injection will be fun...not.

charliefox fx it isn’t as expensive as she made it seem. I did some googling, apparently it IS really expensive - like $18 per patch . I saw someone on YouTube who uses OTC lidocaine cream and says it works great (she used the patches before but didn't want to pay for them). So I'll pick some of that up and hope it works!

I wonder if you could get Emla cream. It's a RX that they gave us to put on M before her lumbar puncture. It was either covered 100% or very inexpensive.

I heard about emla cream in all my research - I don't understand why my REs office didn't offer anything suggestions besides the expensive patches or the stupid buzzy bee thing (it was the NP that I hate so I can't blame the whole clinic). I used the regular OTC lidocaine cream this morning, while it's not perfect it's totally fine. I still felt the needle a bit but it wasn't bad (much better than, say, a blood draw). I think I can live with it.

AF showed up last night. On a positive note, I’m trying a menstrual cup for the first time and really liking it so far.

Month/Cycle: 6/2AL
Timing: CD14
CD/DPO: CD2
Symptoms: Started my period CD17. Last month was CD21. I left a message for my OB because I think 1) it may be something with my hormones or 2) I'm starting peri-menopause. Hopefully they do some bloodwork so I know for sure.
RRCS: We haven't ruled out TTC a few more months but I need to figure out what's going on with my cycle. So I guess we will see! I'm rooting for everyone here!

H get's home tonight and then our frozen embryo transfer is tomorrow! It's not until late afternoon so I'm betting the morning will drag on.
It's so odd to have all this buildup to transfer which, in my head, feels like I'm entering the TWW but really transfer is basically 5dpo. So it's only like a one week wait!

Transfer went smoothly, RE was giddy about my perfect textbook uterine lining LOL I have a small vent about secondary IF, feel free to skip especially if you're in a rough patch of TTC. A girl on my BMB for DS (who is 3) just announced she's pregnant. In the time that I haven't been able to have one baby she will have had two. I'm pretty sure everyone on our BMB who wanted another baby has one or is pregnant except octoberrust and I. Gosh it sucks. I feel like I do a pretty good job at keeping it together, oddly enough going through IVF has helped because while it's stressful for some reasons I also feel like it's out of my hands which helps me relax. Anyway, my heart just sunk when I saw that announcement this morning. I couldn't bring myself to like the post or offer my congrats and then, of course, I feel guilt about that. This shit just sucks. It's been 27 months of suck.

charliefox, it's grim, isn't it? My child is also three (June 2015). I was the first person on my BMB to start TFAS in February 2016 (although one person had already had a surprise BFP). I know one other person from my BMB used this board for a while. She has had her child now, which is fantastic. At least two people currently have their third babies. Today, the only other person who has until now been trying without success, announced her BFP. And me? Month 33 and counting. Six losses. No pregnancy since January this year. And because of my health, I can't access fertility treatments. I'm praying so, so hard for you both, charliefox and honda! Sorry I haven't been around much, everyone. Grief and anxiety and depression are heavy at the moment. I'll try to post properly again when CD1 comes.

Hi gang, I'm here! Fresh off of a week-long vacation and lots of work/life crazy! charliefox FX for good news from the transfer. I would be giddy about good uterine lining as well! Also, re: BMB gut punches, I have a jul 15 kiddo and we started trying when he was almost 6 mos. I love my BMB and am so happy for everyone who has been able to grow their families. But it is such a gut punch when I can't get or stay pregnant. I hope this is our month. honda is today the test day?? I have no self control. I want to pee on things even when there is low biologic plausibility of it being positive sarahh I hope RE can figure out your cycle. My CD range is 20-45 this year. No rhyme or reason. The low end of the scale sucks because it feels like you have a never ending period. And the long end sucks because it feels (IMO) like never ending PMS. <3 I'm sorry octoberrustMonth/Cycle: Longass time. Started winter 2015/2016. Some benching for other health stuff in mid 2017. Off the bench March 2018. CPs June and September. Timing: N/A CD/DPO:6, n/a Symptoms: I'm actually feeling pretty good! Tired and I have a vacation hangover, but overall good! I had a few sketchy moments with my breathing (yay asthma), and some ovary twinges. Nothing to complain about yet. RRCS: I got my period (finally) halfway through vacation (of course). I called the RE because I assumed I was out since I wouldn't be able to come in for labs or anything until CD 4. But it turned out that my plane was going to land 90 minutes before the office closed. And that they had a pack of gonal-f on ice for me. So I guess we are in it this cycle! So far the injections aren't bad at all. DH watched me do it last night and looked a little queasy lol. And tomorrow is my first monitoring lab, ultrasound, and MD consult. I'm so curious to see how my ovaries respond to this. And if it will make me ovulate earlier than I normally do (CD 19-23). Even clomid didn't really affect my O day much. So anyways hello! I'm back!
