I don't have a meal plan persay this week, but last night I made a chicken and spaghetti squash casserole that tasted exactly like hash brown casserole. It was so good.
Tonight is some kind of chicken with roasted radishes and salads.
For breakfast I made an iced coffee with half a scoop of protein shake, heavy cream, and some zero Cal, zero carb caramel syrup.

I know pork chops and tilapia are on the menu for dinner this week. About to head to Aldi and see what is on sale.
I have chicken sausage for breakfasts and will probably stay basic for lunches - Chicken, avocado, and roasted peppers over cauliflower rice.

So my coffee turned out..not very good this morning. Currently eating fried cheese for breakfast.
Just queso fresco cut in chunks and fried on high in a non stick skillet. 0 carbs.

Thanks for the tag friend. I’m on a doctor order low everything diet overhaul because of my liver issues. So it’s low carb, fat, dairy and no more alcohols. Not that I had much to begin with. But anywho here I am. It’s been good so far. I’ve been doing 45grams if carbs for all meals and 15 for snacks. Breakfast and dinner I find are the easiest. I’m struggling with lunch. So far it’s been stuff like lentil or split pea soup or overnight oats. Dinner it’s usually a lean protein with spring mix and non starchy veggies.
I’ll come back to post my menu for the next week. Today I’m going to Cheesecake Factory because it’s my husbands birthday today. I’ve been eying the menu so that I can stay within my carb allowance. I don’t plan to cheat because I’m really on that strict of a diet. So yeah.

Thanks for the tag
The plan this week is taco stuffed zucchini boats (skinny taste recipe with ground turkey; beef and broccoli stirfry over cauliflower rice; ground turkey and peppers over cauliflower rice; the rest of the week will be veggie omelettes with center cut bacon. Lunches are oven roasted turkey breast with laughing cow cheese wedge and grapes like always. The

Some of what I have planned for this week.
-chicken soup. I have carrots, cilantro, potatoes, barley, and celery in the fridge. Probably -oven baked lemon pepper salmon brown rice green beans. -pesto chicken broccoli with crushed red pepper -chicken Curry with quinoa and lentils side -chicken corn black beans fajita veggies quinoa bowls
Usually my husband and kid will have the pasta/carb part and I substitute with spring mix or raw spinach.
ETA: This is dinner. Breakfast I usually switch between turkey, egg white and spinach scrambled with 1 whole wheat tortilla or 2 slices Of toast. Lots of avocado always. Or egg white sandwiches I did have pancakes the other day with sugar free syrup that wasn’t bad.

This is a good reminder thread. After traveling last week and not being great at it, I’m back at it this week. Chicken thighs, tacos, Asian meatloaf, and breakfast hash are the tentative plans, but I need to run to the grocery to make all this magic happen.

That skinnytaste fork and knife burger really caught my eye, using portobello mushrooms as the bun!
This week: Jerk chicken sheet pan Coconut chicken salad Roast chicken and unstuffing
I'm still not sure where I'm at with carbs in general but the grains are what I've been reducing. I'm not low carb officially but I try and I'll be here for the recipes haha

We're having Greek chicken and tzastki (sp?) inspired by a Skinnytaste recipe tonight. Side of veggies with some potatoes added for everyone else. Out tomorrow for my mom's bday. Having steak, salad and veggies to balance out a slice of cake. 😬 Chicken taco meat over cauliflower rice with guacamole Tuesday
Rest of the week is a mess. Likely chili for Halloween and a to-go salad bar Thursday.

I’m really very repetitive when it comes to my food. I was in NY with my family this weekend. Saturday I had a roasted pepper and mozzarella salad, and salmon. Today I had a pepper and egg scramble and now more salmon and salad.

I try to stick to carb limits for meals but I am not eating keto. I had toast and peanut butter for breakfast, salad with grilled chicken for lunch. Bad treat of a Starbucks frappuccino and homemade chimichangas for dinner so the worst part was the tortilla.

I have a really hard time eating low carb for breakfast because I am not a huge fan of plain eggs and meat so I honestly skip breakfast usually and try to just eliminate sugary drinks and carb sides for lunch and dinner. I actually adore caesar salad so I eat that a lot. I give in a lot on the weekends so I really have to reign that in.

I'm super picky about eggs and have had a full out aversion to them for a few weeks now. (combo of SO MANY and a new-ish med, I think). I either have leftovers or a protein shake in the am. No reason you can't eat the same stuff as the rest of the day if you like that better.

Thanks for starting this I too hate the long long threads and catching up.
I came down with shingles last week and pity ate. Tomorrow I'm going to start tracking again. I think my period is about to start so I need to get through it and Halloween. I hate looking at myself in photos and I've been really good with no loss so I'm frustrated.
Sorry for that, tomorrow is low carb day. I have ready mix salad, frozen chicken strips, hummus and carrots, and berries. Hopefully I can stick to eggs for breakfast.

Boo, I'm sorry for the shingle episode, Sunny41. I hope you're feeling better now. I totally get sticking with a plan and thinking you're doing well but not having the scale reflect it. Do you take measurements? Sometimes you'll go down in size but the scale won't budge. I feel you on the picture thing too. I'm trying to be better because I want to have more pictures of me doing stuff with my family instead of it being just h with dd.

We had the best dinner. It was a recipe I got from Pinterest, buffalo chicken wraps. I took a rotisserie chicken, shredded and added buffalo sauce and celery and warmed on the stove. Wrapped in lettuce cups with blue cheese chunks and bacon blue cheese dressing. Yum

Then I’m thinking deconstructed tostadas. What is Korean ground turkey? A recipe from damn delicious. It’s my easy go to. A pound of ground meat, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 soy sauce, 2 tsp sesame seed oil, 4 garlic cloves, and a bit of ginger. When I wasn’t so low carby I used to make Korean bbq tacos with this marinade

That actually sounds pretty good. You might just not like cauliflower 😆 I learned yesterday that I don't like radishes lol. Have you tried baking it in the oven until it's nice and browned? Cauliflower is also one of those veggies that is better served with something rather than alone. I prefer it either raw, dipped in ranch or riced/mashed served with something like stroganoff for example. It's good riced and sauteed with some cheese, bacon bits, and a spoon of sour cream. Similar to loaded potatoes.

I’ve shared this before, but I don’t weigh myself. I found myself being too discouraged by it. I decided that I felt better and ate better without carbs and sugar and I was doing it, regardless of whether I lost any weight at all. That choice definitely helped me personally.
