Either our monitor charger or the monitor itself is going. It was discontinued before we had N and I just happened to find an extra camera on eBay so I'm not hopeful about replacing either.
Does anyone use the Amazon cloud cam as a monitor?

I am so tired of not sleeping. Omg. Sleep training starting today. She went down for a nap nice and early though. Ds and I are having a nice snuggle and watching cartoons.

L had his first dose of Zantac last night. He’s still coughing while nursing and is spitting up much more. Last week he didn’t seem to fussy about it, but he was getting so frustrated over the weekend. Lots of fussing while nursing, arching his back, and then hardly wanting to nurse. Pedi said it would be strange for reflux to start now at 7 months, but I guess we’ll see if this helps. How soon after starting meds did you notice a change?
On a more positive note, my work BFF made apple cake for my birthday and it is delicious. It’s 9:30 and I’ve already had a piece. I envision at least 2 more before the day is over.

L learned how to smack his lips and he’s been doing it back and forth with me. On Saturday, he was playing on the floor and I was in the next room. I peeked in to check on him, and he looked at me and smacked his lips, which I took as him blowing me a kiss and obviously means he loves me. I melted.

Could it be something he's eating regularly? E seems to get an upset tummy from sweet potatoes. It does seem weird that it would start at this age. We were never on zantac but were definitely dealing with reflux when she was little before I cut out dairy from my diet.

We were never on zantac but were definitely dealing with reflux when she was little before I cut out dairy from my diet. I don’t think so? His solids intake is pretty minimal still. Plus it’s been going on for a week now and everything he’s had in the last week he’s had before with no issues. Nothing has changed with my diet either. It just seems to weird for it to start out of the blue. He doesn’t cough unless nursing or right after and I don’t think he seems to be getting sick. Just another 🤷🏼♀️ in the world of baby mysteries. ETA: also coughing with bottles at daycare

We have DS's six month appt this afternoon. I think he might finally be over whatever sickness he had, except the last few days it seems like he pukes anytime he's eaten solids, so I've just been nursing. He also hasn't pooped since at least Thursday. 🙄

Since the drop in temps last week, E is always cold. She's always got a sweater and socks on but her hands and feet are still cold. I had to dig out B's old wool slippers already.

L spiked a fever at daycare so I had to leave work early to pick him up. I made a doctors appointment for tomorrow morning but I think it is only a cold. He has had a cough for a week now so it won’t hurt to get checked out. I am also frustrated by the never ending spit up. I thought it would stop by now ( almost 7 months).
I left older DS at daycare so I am going to take a quick nap with L before I go pick him up.

O tried his first solids this weekend! DD got to feed him and was SO excited about it🤗 She asked if his 1st food could be green beans because that’s what hers was, so green beans it was! Trying bananas today. He seems to really enjoy eating.
We went to the apple orchard this weekend so I’ll make some homemade apple sauce this weekend to give him too😊

I love the infrequent pooping but doubt it’ll last.

We’re on a poop strike over here too, I’m anxiously waiting for a level 10 blowout to occur at the most inconvenient time 😬 I’m going out in a couple of hours for my hair appointment so if he could do it while I’m out that would be great!

Ok I'm glad? I guess that DS isn't the only one not pooping. MIL kinda freaked out. Pediatrician did not seem at all concerned today though. 🤷 I am also expecting it will be bad when it happens.

Ack, I'm sorry I haven't been around much. I'm understanding now why escrow is 30 days. It feels like it's been nonstop emails/phone calls, signing documents here, appointments and inspections there... I think it's just going to be a totally crazy month.
Our fridge died over the weekend and it was a slow enough death that I didn't realize it until it was too late to safely save most of the food. This is just how it works though, right? You make a huge purchase and then everything else decides it's time to die.
DS2 turns 6 months this Saturday and while I enjoyed home-making DS1's purees, lolnope to that happening with DS2 while we're in the middle of buying a house. He's been super, super interested in food lately, and sitting better and better every day, so I think he's about ready! But how the heck do I almost have a 6-month old??

Toss those kids in the sit me up. It’s my no fail make her poop device. Today she did a ninja poo in it. I got her out and was carrying her around before I found the blow out. We both had to wash and change. It had been a few days since her last poo. Shit Me Up FTW.

Mine has been pooping in her carseat for the last 5 days in a row. Really super convenient to get to the store and already have the big kid out of his seat and have to change a diaper before he gets run over in the parking lot. It's making me want to live the mini van life.

Omg yes. L has pooped in the sit me up so many times. Many blowouts. I have washed that thing... several times. Hope your L feels better woodenshoes. And I hope you got that nap! I’m sorry about your fridge katietopaz. Hopefully the next month goes by quickly (but not too quickly that you feel like you can’t get everything done)! House buying is so stressful but also exciting!

We are going days between poops here too when normally it was 2-3 per day. We've only had blowout luckily.
The baby has discovered my glasses so that's been fun trying to fight her off from constantly pulling them off my face. And she learned to make a new noise which she is obsessed with. It's this weird gurgle wheeze type noise that freaks me out. But she loves making it and happily smiles everytime she does.

Inconvenient poop locations? The pool during swimming lessons probably tops the list. L was consistently pooping once a day but decided to skip Saturday. On Sunday morning I did everything to try to get him to before his lesson but nothing. I felt bad but DH didn't even know until he brought L to me halfway through crying and we decided to forgo the remainder of the class.

My trick for getting B to poop was to tell my sister right before we went to Ikea that at least B doesn’t have poop blowouts like L did. That, of course, led us to B having the biggest blowout. I had to throw away his onesie and I hadn’t packed a backup so he tooled around Ikea topless for the afternoon.

G never had too many blow outs but A has had so many, its ridiculous. I had to change diaper brands at one point because it was so bad. Did a call out for help on my other bmb and got the oxyclean gel stick thing, which has saved many a onesie from the garbage bin.

A has decided that 4am is a great time for a meltdown and refuses to fall back asleep during the witching hour for the last 4+ nights. Don’t know why she chose that time since she’s up once or twice before then but....

Had to take her downstairs so she didn’t wake up the other one. We are watching tv.

I did manage to get both the kids down from 6-7:30 so that was nice. When E woke up at 10:45 last night, I was all impressed because it had felt like a nice stretch. Then I looked at the clock and realized it had only been 1.5 since she was last up. Eta: still miles better than the usual 40 minutes
