This is a combined TTC thread for EVERYONE currently TTC. Whether you're a first timer, a many timer, or an old timer come on in and pass the time as we struggle through WTO and the dreaded TWW.
As this is a combined thread there will be talk of LC, losses, and IF struggles. If any of these are hard for you please just let us know in your first post and I'm sure the lovely ladies on here will be happy to add TWs to accommodate.
Feel free to add a little intro to help us get to know you better;)
Please come join us!

sarahh that is great timing!!! FX for you!!! TW: Loss Month/Cycle: started TTC winter 2016, break/benched summer 2017 through winter 2018. Off bench March 2018. CP 6/18, CP 9/18. First cycle post CP Timing: n/a CD/DPO: 2 Symptoms: Tired and crampy RRCS: The bleeding this time around is even worse than before, maybe because I made it longer before it started? Last CP, I spiked a high fever right as the bleeding started, and this time I had an asthma flare with a low fever. WTAF?! Oh well. Since the bleeding started yesterday, I went in this morning for the recurrent loss panel + some other labs the RE wanted. I kid you not, they required 20+ vials to do the 18 or so tests on the list. The lab tech said the results will be in in 2-3 days, so I'm hoping we have more information by the end of the week and maybe this cycle won't be a complete loss. I have some reservations about starting up this process in mid-October just because, selfishly, I don't want to experience another loss over the holidays. So we will see.

sharebear, I remember all the blood they took for my repeat loss panel... I'm surprised I had any left after that. FX you get some easily fixable answers!

sharebear Sorry:( I hate how much this sucks. My bleeding post D&C was worse this time around as well. The first time I think it's just that m6 body had literally no blood left. This time I ended up with a huge hematoma that made the bleeding very heavy and very lengthy:/ And I'm glad you mentioned the number of vials for the repeat loss panel. I have a feeling the RE will be asking me for this in November when we go.

Month/Cycle: Will be 1AL if we ever get there. 18 total.
Timing: NA
CD/DPO: 38...seriously. Come on AF!
Symptoms: NA
RRCS: Just waiting on AF. My back is killing me today so I'm hoping AF starts soon. If not I'll make an appointment and see what's up. My cycle went back to normal immediately after last year's loss so I naively assumed the same would be true this time around. Hahaha. At this rate I might have my RE appointment before AF decides to show. I thought I had a super light period a few weeks after the D&C but since it started shortly after my bleeding stopped I'm wondering now if it was just still bleeding from the loss. Which would make me CD a gazillion. Since the D&C was July 20th:/

sarahh, awesome timing! FX'd sharebear I'm so sorry about the loss. That is a crazy amount of lab work - did they take all those vials at once? charliefox, hoping there are no more delays on your end. sammysam, just hugs, I'm so sorry the wait is forever. Boo on the heavy bleeding. Month/Cycle: 2/2, 1AL CD/DPO: CD7 Symptoms: AF is over, but it was longer than my usual. RRCS: DH wants to try again immediately as his travel is all over the place and we discussed pushing back trying from end of the year until March to give ourselves more time since we weren't anticipating a loss. But I don't know what my O is gonna be like schedule wise - I'm lucky that I always KNOW when I O because of ovulation cramps (FML) but since you sort of really need to do it BEFORE O, it doesn't help more than getting in on O and -1. DH doesn't seem to understand I don't magically know and it's frustrating.

Month/Cycle: 22 Timing: Currently benched CD/DPO: CD 1 today, not a surprise though. Symptoms: Just the usual period symptoms RRCS: So we're definitely not trying at the moment because of DH's job loss, but I wanted to stick around and cheer you ladies on! You've all been a great support over the past several months. DH has had three promising job interviews so far, and one coming up on Wednesday so FX that we won't be benched for long. If he gets hired somewhere quick we won't have to move too, so win-win

RRCS: I keep getting really faint lines but not getting any darker. Done three different brands and all have really faint lines. I'm pretty sure this is another chemical. Just waiting for AF to start. I keep getting my damn hopes up.

sarahh, good timing! Praying that this is your month. sharebear, much love to you. If there is only one thing I've learned it is that every loss is unique. I hope they find a straightforward solution after all that blood. charliefox, I'm so sorry for the heavy bleeding, that's never fun. I hope you find about your FET soon. sammysam, after this long I would be inclined to go to the doctor, just to rule out any underlying issues. I'm so sorry you're living with this at the moment, it's so hard. nerdalert, it sounds as though your H needs an anatomy lesson. I'm sorry he's being so difficult just after your loss. Your priority right now needs to be taking care of yourself. radiantfate, so good to see you. Praying hard that your H gets a fantastic job ASAP! beenthere, praying so hard for you.

Month/Cycle: Month 32. Cycle 10 AL. Six consecutive losses in two years.
Timing: Hoping to start EOD today.
CD/DPO: CD 9
Symptoms: N/a
RRCS: It turned out that I have a lot to say this month, so I've made a thread. Absolutely no obligation for anyone to read or comment, though! The tl:dr is that I don't know how much longer we will TTC, and as far as I know there are no options for infertility treatment because of my medical history.

I left a message for the nurses at 8am, I finally got a call back at 4pm. They want me to come in for a baseline ultrasound in the morning, then a call with my coordinator in the afternoon, and hopefully starting meds for an FET tomorrow night.
Of course, I just realized that we don't have prior authorization so I frantically emailed the insurance gal, in the past she's gotten back to me quickly so I hope that's the case (because she never answers her phone!). I'll try calling a million times in the morning before my appointment if I don't hear back from her.
Sooooo, we might be moving right into a FET or we might have to wait a cycle for prior authorization to come through. Basically I don't know much more than I did this morning but I am a lot more stressed, lol.

charliefox I hope the insurance lady has gotten back to you by now or gets back to you ASAP this morning. beenthere I'm so sorry :/ AFM I'm kind of wondering/thinking if we should just take a break this cycle (even if we don't have to). At the earliest, my loss panel results will be in today/tomorrow. Even if my RE reads them and calls me with a plan on Friday, it seems like it would be super stressful to get started and manage the monitoring. Selfishly, we are also taking DS to Disney World for Halloween and I would really rather not feel hormonal and crappy in the happiest place on earth. I also don't think that I could do any sort of monitoring while out of town for a week. But mostly, after a two-loss summer, I think I just need a month where I don't ride the hormone-induced roller coaster of loss and infertility. But who am I kidding, I'll probably flip flop on this as soon as my RE calls me with test results.

charliefox, sorry for all the added stress. Hopefully you can get the authorization asap. Sorry beenthere, sharebear, it may not be a bad thing to wait a month and enjoy your trip. I am supposed to start my period tomorrow and I feel like it's coming so I'm pretty sure I'm out. I'm also wondering if it's worth it to me to continue doing what we are doing. The high dose Femara is giving me a lot of side effects and I am spending all my time thinking about ttc and I feel like missing out on a lot that is going on with my girls now. I really want another baby but I may need to just let that go and be happy with the family that we have now. These are all the things flying around in my mind while I wait for AF.

sharebear I have found the imposed break from TTC the best thing for me mentally. Knowing there was nothing I could be doing about it and just not having to think about it at all has actually been really good for me. Sometimes breaks are worth it!
