I totally jinxed the baby's sleep after my post the other day. The past two nights she's been up every 3 hours. Last night up at 10:30, 1:45, 4:15, and again at 7. She's sleeping again now but I'll have to wake her up in a bit to get ready.
I did get her to take an hour and 15 min nap in her PNP on Wednesday. Yesterday we were out running errands so she napped in the Tula. I feel like she is never going to get on a consistent nap schedule unless we are always home which just isn't going to happen.

This week is weird. My old boss's business partner called me to see if I can work a few hours a week while his employee is on maternity leave from December through February. Then an agent under him called to see if I can help him out a bit too. And this morning my old boss called me because my replacement quit without notice. So I may be going back to work a few days a week for a little bit.

In the morning I’m getting my hair cut for the first time since the day before O was born! I definitely want some length off but I’m considering bangs too. Im in a wedding next Saturday though so I don’t want to make a huge change and then hate it😬 I got my hair cut a couple weeks ago and she ended up taking off more than I had planned. I wasn’t sure I liked it at first, but now I love it. It was a nice change from the biting trim I usually get. Bangs... those are a different story. Have you had bangs before? I’ve had long swept bangs and let them grow out while pregnant because my hair was frowning so fast😅 I actuallly just got home from the cut and I adore it! She also took a little more off than I was picturing but it’s still super cute!

I am feeling slightly overwhelmed right. Work is insanely busy. Also, we need to be completely moved out of our house by the end of the day on September 17. Our buyers closed on our house Wednesday. Our contract was for close plus 10 days, which would have been fine, but the appraiser completed the appraisal at the latest he could possibly do it. We close on our new house on Tuesday. So that gives us 5 days to get everything moved out of our house. It is doable, but will be insane because I will not take anytime off of work for this because I can't afford to get any more backed up on my work.

mrsmonogrammed I'm not really looking forward to go back. I left for several other reasons than the baby. I worked there almost 9 years and was ready to be done. But I feel bad and he is my uncle which complicates things a bit. I'm going to work two days a week until he finds someone new. D1 will be in school and my sister will watch the baby for me. Not looking forward to pumping.

We went to look at houses today, one we liked last week we decided isn’t for us and the other we thought we’d love from the pictures (too expensive but been on market for awhile now) we didn’t like at all.
I’m worried we won’t find anything in time, there is so little around right now which is bizarre as it’s spring and peak selling time typically. Stupid market.

So frustrated. I pumped milk for a bottle so I could sleep in this morning. I’m exhausted and of course I couldn’t sleep and the baby wouldn’t take the bottle for H.
I am so tired and just can’t sleep, like an overtired baby which is too ironic for my liking.

I’m here to gush about my two amazing best friends. I went to my one friend’s salon for what I thought was just a hang out & hair day. When I got there they had decorated for my birthday, then they immediately sent me next door to get a massage they bought for me! My first one ever and it was amazing. When I got back my friend did my hair, they bought me lunch, and had made me a cake. It was seriously the best day. I needed it. Our toilet broke again last night and we have been so stressed about our house. My husband was in on it and helped coordinate. The baby even took a bottle. It’s been so long since I’ve done anything for myself. It was so nice. I’m so lucky to have amazing friends.

The receptionist even complemented me saying she couldn’t believe I just had a baby because I look great. I’ve been feeling like such crap about my squishy bod. I asked my friends if they paid her to say that 😂

nevertoomanyshoes That was me this morning. H got up with L so I could sleep a little longer, but of course I couldn’t sleep. I did get a nap today (L napped for 1.5 hours! Which is unheard of around here). Hopefully you can get some rest too!

This baby does not sleep. She was up every 45 minutes last night from 7-1. She went to sleep at 6:30 tonight and woke at 8:45. Still awake now at 10. Wild Saturday night.

Hugs to everyone without a sleeping baby. Mine has decided to wake every 3 hours (give or take 10 min) and refused to go back down at 4:30. I am SO tired.

She didn't go to sleep until 11:30 and only because I put her in bed with me. She was awake a few more times between then and her 7:00 wake up. It's 3 now and she has had one hour long nap.

FFSC: DD2 sleeps in a dockatot. She’s always been a pretty solid sleeper but I swear it’s what’s getting us through every transition. Two thumbs way way up if anyone else is considering it.

O sleeps in one too. I tried putting him down without it last night (I washed the cover and it wasn’t dry by bedtime😩) and he woke up after an hour!

And I just bought a second grand (for $115!!!) on our local BST. I feel a little bit bad that I’m not being crazy religious about safety but they are approved for sleep in Europe sooooooo....

Nice score!! I’m all about safety guidelines for babies but you have to do what you’re comfortable with! DD had crib bumpers to keep from getting stuck and she liked to curl up with her back against them🤷🏼♀️ Owen has never rolled in the DAT and likes to sleep with his hands up above his head and his feet propped up on either side🤣 I’m already planning to buy a grand on Black Friday.
