When is your due date? How far along are you? Due September 20th, induction scheduled for September 15th. 37 weeks
How big is baby? Tackle box
Team Pink/blue/green/don't know? Blue!
Any Upcoming Appointments? OB appointment today. Just a routine one and it’s my second to last! I’m excited because my MIL is babysitting so I don’t have to bring DD.
Symptoms: Some mild swelling, sensitive to the heat, lots of Braxton Hicks.
Milestones: Less than 2 weeks to go! I finally started packing my hospital bag, today we’re washing the car seat cover and rock and play insert etc. It’s starting to feel real!
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? My BFF has the day off today and wants to go to ikea this morning. I’m not sure I can handle that much walking so I might say no.

When is your due date? How far along are you? 9/20, 37w5d
How big is baby? Romaine lettuce / Honeydew melon
Team Pink/blue/green/don't know? Blue
Any Upcoming Appointments? 38 week check-up Friday, including my first cervical check
Symptoms: The usual - fatigue, back/hip/pelvic pain, Braxton Hicks, general soreness at the top of my bump and my ribs
Milestones: We moved DS to his new room over the weekend, is that a milestone?
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? DS took to his new room so easily. Really no transition time at all. I'm starting to regret not buying another glider since I want one in the nursery but DS and I cuddle in it nightly before putting him down so it's doable but annoying to go cuddle in his old room then put him down in his new room. He didn't seem to mind though.

Appt Update: 3 cm dilated, glucose in my urine but no one seemed too worried. My next appt is next Wednesday 9/12 (39+2) because of Rosh Hashanah. I'm going in at 8:40 for my exam and a membrane sweep.
Hopefully I go into labor on my own before then. I think I'm going to schedule a massage for sometime between now and then.

ftwr - For my practice trace amounts of protein or glucose are not a concern if all else looks well. They'd just watch from one week to the next to make sure it goes away or at least doesn't increase. I had trace amounts of protein show up in mine once last pregnancy and once so far this pregnancy and it seems to coordinate with weeks/days I'm not as well hydrated. Not sure if glucose would work the same way.

I rescheduled my cancelled prenatal massage for this Saturday. Considering I'm hoping to make it past DS's birthday on the 13th **knock on wood** I've been wondering if I should reschedule again for next weekend instead of this weekend.
But then I worry rescheduling for next weekend will jinx me into labor before I get to the appointment.
I really need to stop worrying about when DS's birthday is since this guy could come any day he pleases at this point.

When is your due date? How far along are you? Lily is 6 days old!
How big is baby? She was down to 5 pounds 14 oz on Saturday, but hopefully weighs a little more now.
Team Pink/blue/green/don't know? Team green turned pink 🙂
Any Upcoming Appointments? 2 week appointment next week, also our state has a mandatory genetic test screening that has to be done between 7-14 days old so we'll probably do that on Thursday when DD is at daycare.
Symptoms: still kind of sore but feeling pretty good. It's amazing how fast a lot of the symptoms go away after the baby comes out. No more heart burn! Yay!
Milestones: she's awake more and more. She's starting to actually wake up when she's hungry instead of me having to wake her up. Also, today is dd1's first day back at daycare (we are fortunate to be able to send her twice a week this year) and she absolutely loves it. When I dropped her if she immediately ran in and made herself at home and didn't even say bye to me when I left.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I don't know if I forgot or didn't have this with dd1 but my post partum sweating is absolutely ridiculous! I wake up drenched before every feeding. It's so gross!

brenna I've been meaning to ask you as a fellow Team Green-er - did you have any "feeling" that L would be a girl?!? to be honest, after the high risk doctor said something about our complication causing a higher risk for one sex over the other with hernias (at least that's what I think he said, he has a very strong accent) and our baby wasn't the higher risk sex I was pretty certain she was a girl because I know boys have more hernias because of their anatomy. I didn't know for sure obviously, but that info that made me strongly believe she was a girl.

How big is baby? Pomeranian
Team Pink/blue/green/don't know? PInk
Any Upcoming Appointments? Thursday around 9, going she will check me. Based on some sun I'm having and some light contractions here and there I'm worries how effaced and dilated I am. Mostly need to know so I know to haul ass to hospital once real contractions hit. (Last labor I got to the hospital with only 40 mins to spare!
Symptoms: pelvic pain, carpal tunnel, swelling and hemorrhoids
Milestones:less than 2 weeks to go or so!
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? MH has a man cold and it's just annoying me. I get it, it sucks, but I'm a bazillion years pregnant so no I don't have any sympathy!

Team Pink/blue/green/don't know? Pink
Any Upcoming Appointments? Not until next week.
Symptoms: pelvic pain, indigestion, insomnia, exhaustion
Milestones: my rings no longer fit.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I don’t remember having so many aches and pains last time. I think it’s part of your brain forgetting things so you have another baby! I feel like a house and still have quite a bit to go if she goes full term.

Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I way overdid it yesterday. Our stand up garage freezer was left open over the weekend and I just noticed it yesterday. Everything was thawed and warm and leaking, so I took care of it. I'm still feeling kind of off, so I'm glad I have an appointment today.

tbirdlove - Rolling over has gotten so bad all of a sudden for me too. My chiro adjustments had been taking care of the pinched nerve feeling hip pain I had been dealing with but now my whole pelvis hurts basically all the time. Particularly when I first stand up or try to roll over at night. I don't remember this with DS1!

I remember pelvic pain on and off throughout with DS and the difficulty rolling over and more constant pelvic issues towards the end - but everything is worse this time. I don't remember feeling this much pain and discomfort all the time. I was still painting a giraffe mural at this point when I was pg with DS!!

I am still doing the lovenox and haven't switched yet to Herapin but will have to once I am close enough. It sucks so bad. Sometimes I start to think ehh maybe this isn't so bad I have a particularly bad shot. Nevermind the constantly sore belly. DS loves to come up and hug my belly and I have to block him most of the time because it is too painful. :/

Update from this morning's appointment: 4cm, 50% effaced. Baby girl is measuring about 7lbs 10oz and was busy sucking on her fingers during the ultrasound. I declined a membrane sweep today, but set a 40w appointment for Monday and will probably let her do it then!

DS loves to come up and hug my belly and I have to block him most of the time because it is too painful. :/ Hi there jense927! I'm glad you're hanging in there with your injections 😊 Yeah, they all suck in general. And the sore spots and nasty bruises are no fun. I remember the Heparin being a little easier with my first because the needle is shorter and a much smaller gauge (at least mine is - I fill insulin syringes myself from a vial) and the Heparin doesn't burn. But the Lovenox only sometimes bruises for me whereas the stupid little Heparin pricks are all leaving tiny bruises, they all hurt, they all end up with tiny scabs and sometimes the damn scabs bump open and start bleeding again 12-24 hrs later!!! I had one randomly bleed through my shirt today - wtf?! And I'm running out of space! I try to remind myself that if this is what works for me to have a successful pregnancy with a healthy LO then so be it, I'll inject myself a thousand times. But of course that doesn't make it any more enjoyable. I've got approximately 8 more weeks of injections - I can do this! And you can too!! Funny side note, 6 weeks after my DS was born and it was finally time for my LAST injection, I actually got a little emotional about it!! 😂 It's all such a wild ride!
