Today was day 8 of stims, numbers were as follows: Right (6): 14.8, 12.7, 11.2, 8.2, 7.8, 6.4 Left (4): 14.5, 11, 7.5, 6.8 My doc was pleased with the progress (even though it wasn't much) and is keeping my doses the same. I have another u/s on Monday. I just keep telling myself it only takes one...but it's hard not to wish there were more follies. The nice thing about today was that I bumped into my doc and she just remembers everything which makes me feel like I'm being taken care of and that she's on top of it. The drama today was that I totally blanked and didn't realize that I might need another Cetrotide for Tuesday, of course the pharmacy can't get one to me in time and my clinic might not have enough because lots of people are in a bind due to the holiday weekend. Luckily, a girl on my local IF board said she had one that I could have for free! Thank goodness for communities like these

I can’t believe it’s already September! The first two weeks of the semester have flown by.
We had a bbq with some friends today. It was really fun! We’re planning on taking it easy for the rest of the weekend, I go in for baseline Monday morning, and then start estrace and vivelle. I’m already so hormonal, I don’t know what more drugs added into the mix will do to me! I’ve heard that the estrogen helps even out the Lupron, so hopefully that’s true.

charliefox, I’m glad you were able to get the extra Cetrotide! It’s such a pain to deal with the holiday on top of everything else! IF communities are some of the most generous I’ve come across though. I’ve received so many donated meds from grads, which has been a huge help since we are OOP for everything.

bonzo, all the hormones are rough, it's hard not to feel like yourself. Remind me when your tentative transfer is again?

My check today went well, and I started Estrace and Vivelle. I’ve never used a patch before, and I think it feels a little weird. I’m sure I’ll get used to how it feels over the next few weeks!

Today is Day 6, and I have three embryos left that have grown into normal looking blasts ready to freeze. I know it only takes one, but I guess I was hoping for better odds.

Bluebird, it’s ok to feel disappointed at not getting more. It’s so hard to go through everything we do and feel like we didn’t get much out of a cycle. Hopefully one of those three will be your baby! Are you doing a fresh or frozen transfer?

Hey guys- I did disappear for a month. Finishing up one of my classes, vacation, etc... August just got away from me! Bluebird, I get how you feel. We only had 3 that made it to blast after 9 initially fertilized with ICSI. Only 1 was PGS normal. It's heart breaking. bonzo, my doc kept me on estradiol valerate- yay for injections... NOT. charliefox, good luck with your retrieval! Your numbers looked pretty good! As for me, we transfer on 9/13. I have my last ultrasound tomorrow morning. My baseline my thickness was 3.83 with an E2 level of 33, my US last week yielded an E2 level of 193 and a thickness of 7.4. So we will see what tomorrow brings. I'm willing positive thoughts. This is our one shot (although, we are heavily researching embryo donation at this point either for a sibling for this little frosty or as a next option if this doesn't take). At the very least, I get to spend 2 weeks pregnant. I have to hold onto that.

Bluebird, FX for good PGS results! charliefox, good luck with retrieval tomorrow! skidevil87, good to see you back! Transfer is coming up soon for you! I definitely am getting used to the feeling of the patches. It was probably just one of those things where it’s a new sensation so I noticed it at first. I have been really exhausted since starting estrogen. Anyone else notice this? Luckily the last couple of days I’ve had the time to rest in the afternoon.

ER this morning, got 7 eggs. Will get reports tomorrow and Sunday, then transfer is on Tues. My RE says she expects 1-3 embryos. I'm really hoping this is it.

last ultrasound was yesterday- lining a nice trilaminar at 12.4 with an estrogen level of 473. Except now in the last 10 days I've had viral pink eye, a sinus infection, and as of yesterday got strep throat. Thank you niece and nephew. I'm on my 2nd round of antibiotics hoping this clears up REALLY quick. Otherwise, I'm afraid they will postpone my transfer... again.

charliefox, bonzo, sally, Thank you! I'm feeling SO much better! I started my medrol last night so hopefully I begin to feel like a million bucks as of tomorrow! I'm just dealing with some post nasal drip right now, but that's nothing compared to the last 2 weeks. PIO started on Saturday. My husband finally got the courage to do my injections and he's doing a fabulous job. He won't be able to be in the room for my transfer though, which is sad, but if this ish works, then I'm going to need to start making him watch birthing videos every week until he is desensitized to it before I give birth.

skidevil87, I’m glad you’re feeling better! Only two more days! charliefox, how are those embryos doing? FX so hard that they’re growing wonderfully! I have another ultrasound tomorrow, and they’ll start my Novarel at my appointment. PIO starts Thursday!
