How often should I pump? And how long? I have totally forgotten what i did with DS.

I pumped 3 times a day - at 9, 12, and 3. DD and I nursed before we left the house at 7 and when we got home at 5:30.
A friend was able to maintain her supply pumping at 10 and 2. But I think she was separated from her DS from 8 to 4.

I’m hoping for 3 times for 15 minutes when I go back after next week. My issue is that DS is not in a consistent schedule so I don’t know what to do if he eats at say 5:30. Do I feed him at 6:45? Pump in the car? He’s a slow eater (30-40 minutes) so I have no idea how to establish a morning routine. Pumping 4 times at work because we had bad timing isn’t very feasible.

I did 3x a day in the beginning and scaled back to 2 at some point. I went quite a while with 3 though.... maybe until a year ? I can’t remember. I did 10 minutes I believe. I never got more out after that so I stopped.

I did (and plan to do again) 3x for 15 minutes. I hope my teaching schedule accommodates it.
Currently DD wakes up closer to 7 which is when I leave 2x/week so I might be pumping once at home too.

But I think she was separated from her DS from 8 to 4. This was my exact schedule in the beginning. Most days, I could get to his daycare at lunch to nurse instead of the noon pump, but I realize that's not an option for most moms and I was super lucky.

10-15 minutes, 3x a day. i work 10-6, so i think i was doing like 11:30, 1:30, and 4? i have to try to remember myself before i go back. with DS2 i also brought him to daycare about 20 minutes early and nursed him before i went to work. then i didn't feel as stressed about how much i had to pump.

I’m currently pumping every 2.5 hours for 20 minutes. She eats every 2.5 hours and I don’t get much after 10 minutes but figured the extra 10 is just for keeping my supply up.

I pump for 25ish minutes. I have another let down at the 21 minute mark. I didn't realize that was so much longer than most people did.

I did 20-25 minutes every 3 hours. I also got another letdown toward the end of 20 minutes and I was able to continue working while pumping so I didn't have big time constraints.

I pump first thing in the morning after he eats and twice at work. So basically my alarm goes off at 530 and I dream feed him. Then i pump while i am doing my makeup/hair. I then pump at work at 930 and 1230. Home to feed him at 4 or whenever he is ready for his next feed
