I'm literally so sore I can't even function. I can't walk up and down the stairs, I can't clean my house, I have no clue how I'm going to do laundry. I think I need to do an easier one than the 21 day fix. Unless you guys think it'll get better in a day or two. I can't sacrifice the cleanliness of my house, lol. Eta. I have a foam roller and that has helped a little, but not enough Lots of water, an Advil, and a banana. I would keep going if I were you. Even if you have to drop weight, just keep chugging along. Are you able to get in a short walk or bike ride today? I know when I am really really sore that usually helps me flush out the lactic acid in my muscles.

I'll keeping pushing through, It's only 21 days and i'm sure it gets easier. Maybe I'll hop on the elliptical if I get some time later, I bet that will make me feel better. During the actual workout today, I felt great. I'm just scared for tomorrow!

gussie, soreness is typically an indicator of something new - new routine, increased reps or weight, etc. Stick with it for a few days if you can. Once the novelty wears off, the soreness should as well.

I looked at her meal timing plan and laughed. I'd need to get up an 4am or stay up until midnight to follow the timing. I need to be out of the house at 7:30 am and I can't do this until the kids go to bed after 8pm. I might look at the plan and just try to restrict my calories. I'm not buying the containers, I'll just use a kitchen scale I already own. The important thing here is that you are eating the right combination of macronutrients, and eating small meals every 2-3 hours to keep your metabolism fired. I don't have all the time in the world either. Yesterday I had a protein shake, some cantaloupe, and 12 almonds at 4:20pm,and started my workout at 4:50. It's fine. You don't need to be that exact. I'm assuming the containers represent 1 serving size. So as long as I do a the required serving of each category I should be pretty good. The calorie drop is going to be my downfall. But hopefully the smaller meals spread out will help.

The important thing here is that you are eating the right combination of macronutrients, and eating small meals every 2-3 hours to keep your metabolism fired. I usually do the vanilla Vega protein powder, ice, unsweetened almond milk, and extra fruit.

A few good protein sources - cottage cheese, beans, Greek yogurt, shrimp, and soy or tofu. Also there's always supplementation, I have shakes a few times a week and a bar once a week.

Day 2 of 80DO (Booty) done this morning. I grabbed weights, but didn't need them, it was a band-only workout. The hotel gym got pretty crowded and this at-home alone excersizer was feeling very self concious!

Oh my god you guys. Cardio Core about killed me. me too. It was a 40 minute workout. It took me an hour. I'm used to doing Tabata instead of HIIT so doing frog jumps on the heels of jumping rope was making me feel sick.

I'm just now able to walk up and down my stairs. The cardio day of the 21 day fix was pretty intense, but I made it through!

I modified a few of the moves and didn't go through all of the times cardio.
I am so uncoordinated. I was having a hard time moving my hands and feet. I dont even want to know how bad it looked.
