I finally heard back from the ob. They aren't concerned about the protein numbers. I'm so relieved.

I’ve also had terrible road rage more so than usual then I cry about it afterwards. Makes me feel like I’ve lost my mind.

Baby passed the nst with flying colors and the NP didn't see any signs of bleeding but said my cervix is probably just being super sensitive. She did say I was slightly dilated and my cervix was soft so that's a little nerve wracking but hopefully will be fine 🙂

brenna I’m glad your NST went well! killertofu that’s a relief that the protein numbers were no big deal. I’ve had GD twice and never even had that tested, other than maybe peeing on a strip at the OB’s office. justinbobby I’m pretty sure hotdogs are fine! That said, I ate sashimi today so I’m admittedly breezy about that stuff.

meggriffinThank you. I don't think he wants to separate, just because I've left so many times before and each time he's begging for me to come back and making all these promises that never get fulfilled. But who knows. 🤷♀️ Ugh, that makes it a lot more difficult. ❤️ I really wish this could be a peaceful time for you.

6 weeks and 3 days left..ish depending on this kid's plans. Work is going to be the end of me. I'm finding myself losing patience and getting mad and stewing over things.

I can barely handle work right now. I am so lucky I have a very flexible office for times to come in, I am so sleep deprived I am rarely in at 7am which had been my norm for 3 years. Today I rolled in at 9:20... I too am counting down the days. 21 more days of work if anyone was wondering.

ftwr - I can't stand work right now. Even when things are going ok I just don't want to be here. It's so hard to focus.

I also feel like I have a million things to do at home, I have to pace myself so much I feel like I’ll never get it all done on the weekends and evenings.

Focusing is hard too. I've had to start going back to to-do lists and reminders so I don't forget things. Naturally I haven't had a team project at work in nearly a year and they assign me to 4 8 weeks before I'm due to give birth.

28 work days until my leave starts (9/17 for a 9/20 due date). The last 2 may be PTO days if I don't need to use them in the next month or so and haven't had the baby by then.

ftwr, what are they thinking?! What if you go early or have some complications in the next couple of weeks. They should be limiting your work load at this time.

I'm sorry for all of the work woes.
I hope this doesn't sound stupid, because I know my situation is different being at home, but dang all of that sounds like how I'm feeling too. I'm impatient and angry, I have a hard time focusing and completing daily tasks, and I feel like I don't want to be here. I also feel like I'm struggling to find time for all of the other deep cleaning and organizing and baby prepping tasks in addition to all of my usual tasks. Here I've been beating myself up and feeling like a lousy mom for feeling so fed up and angry with everything.... But hearing you all saying the SAME things about your jobs outside the home makes me feel more "normal".
I always feel bad complaining about being a SAHM. I know it's not for everyone, but I also know there are many moms who would love to be home with their littles.

tbirdlove - Not working outside the home does not exclude you from getting irritated or angry more easily!! It definitely does not make you a lousy mom!! I think it's just one of those "symptoms" that can hit this far along no matter what you do during the day.

It's a lot easier to let go about being angry with work when work is not personally connected to me.

Well, DD woke up from nap acting weird. She kept laying down and saying her legs hurt then later that she didn't feel good. I kept trying to get her to leave so we can spend the weekend at my parent's house but she was crying and wouldn't move. Then she puked everywhere! I thought she was feeling better after a bath but then more puke. Ugh! Looks like we are stuck here. I really hope I don't catch this.

I hope she's feeling better soon and that you don't catch whatever she has going on. I've been very fortunate to have avoided real vomit thus far in my parenting journey. I so dread the day DS really barfs everywhere! Spit-up I dealt with in flowing rivers though.

Thanks tbirdlove. This will be our third stomach virus with DD. They are the worst! First one was norovirus and we all got it. We had to cancel our flight up north. The second one seemed to just be a nasty 24 hour stomach bug because she was the only one that caught it. I'm bleaching everything I can.

I am so wiped out today that I am actually going to try to take a nap while DS naps. Hope everyone is having an enjoyable Saturday 😊
Also, baby has quieted down so much in movement the last two days. I feel like I'm having to pay much closer attention and be more mindful of the amount of movement throughout the day.

My goal is to take a nap/rest every day during dd's nap 🙂 I also feel like the movements have slowed down/changed to where I have to pay much closer attention or else I start to get anxious. My twice weekly nsts are annoying but definitely help with the anxiety of if baby is moving enough.
