I have a D14 DS and was around since TD, but I’ve only been active with my BMB since the multiple migrations. DD was born 6 weeks ago, 4 weeks early due to placenta previa. With her being a preemie and how quickly she tired nursing / slow weight gain, we were told to start triple feeds at one week old. Since she’s gained about one pound per week every week. The pedi and LC are thrilled, but I’m exhausted and she seems to be making little to no progress transitioning to EBF which is incredibly discouraging. She still takes 15-19 oz per day of expressed BM.
Is anyone else triple feeding? Is there really a light at the end of the tunnel?

I’m sorry you don’t feel like there’s progress away from triple feeding. It is incredibly draining. Can you talk to the LC about coming up with a concrete plan to reduce supplements? So you’re not just wondering when to cut back. Is an at-breast supplementer an option in that process?
