Hi all! Been crazy busy lately because we got contacted by a realtor who had a client that wants to buy our house, even though it’s not for sale! So we’ve been trying to declutter and clean before this client comes thru to look at our house and possibly make an offer 😵. Not great timing with 13 weeks left till baby comes. But if she’s willing to pay the big bucks I’ll sell.

Ugh 3am?? That sucks ftwr!! I was up a bunch off and on but the earliest I remember seeing is 5:30 at least. Wow! They must really want your house justinbobby!! It would take a very generous offer for me to sell my house when I wasn't planning to move!

It's starting to feel like a lot of work walking from my car to my desk at work. Granted I park in the last row to get some steps in, but the walk in and flight of stairs up to the second floor is kicking my ass all of a sudden.

The parking lot nearest to my office has been closed off for weeks to restriped and to have the ramps repaved. It...does not take that long to tear out and refill 3 entries into the lot and I'm starting to get bitter lol

We are doing our hospital tour tonite. I’m looking to ask a lot of questions about the NICU; now that I have GD it’s a higher possibility than before. I’m looking forward to getting the layout.

I've been up since 3 am, thanks insomnia. insomnia, restless legs, and heart burn have been kicking my butt the last few weeks. I don't think I've had a solid night's sleep in... A very long while.

Went to a concert last night - Baby's First Concert!! Baby was very active during the show. I wonder if baby enjoyed it or was pissed about it! Ha! It was a great mom's night out with a friend I don't get to see nearly often enough. And the show was pretty unexpectedly awesome. I knew very little about the headliner and was very pleasantly shocked at the cool performance she put on!! The concert was outdoors and it was quite hot. Although we were up under the cover pavilion part and we were seated most of the time, my feet, ankles and hands were swollen by the end of the show. It was the worst swelling I've had so far. It must have been a mix of the heat and the hard chair. But the swelling in my hands caused some pain from wrist up to my left thumb and in the base thumb joint. It bothered me all night and I slept lousy. It still hurts today and now I'm afraid this may be the beginning of the carpal tunnel symptoms again 😠I don't know how I would have irritated it otherwise. Hopefully it goes away - it's too early for this again.

AW - had an ultrasound yesterday because my dr is worried about IUGR and baby weighs about 2 lbs! Right around the 50th percentile. I’m 26 weeks.

One of the things I loathe about summer pregnancy is the obligation to keep up with shaving my legs, it’s getting harder to manage.

I use Nair Sensitive on my legs and do that like once every two weeks lol

I've thought that was odd considering that pregnancy usually makes things grow more, but maybe you're right that it's age related - I AM getting old 😆

Well, it looks like we're changing my due date after all...... Which bumps me up 30 weeks 😳 Cue mini panic attack....
In more fun news baby had measured 2lbs 15oz at my u/s last Friday! Nearly 3lbs seems so big already!

My leg hair has seemed to slow down, meanwhile my arm pit hair is growing like crazy. At least I can reach my arm pits easier! 😊
Baby hasn't been very active the last few days and it drives me crazy. I can still easily get 10 kicks/movements in an hour but it's still stressful, especially with our umbilical cord complication.

They're changing it this late?? I've never heard of that before tbirdlove! Well, remember it's been kinda back and forth with the OB wanting to keep it at LMP and Radiology keeps wanting to change it based on u/s dating. The early scans, which are more accurate for dating, measured one at 5 days ahead and one at 6 days ahead. The cutoff is 6 days +/- to change the EDD. So I was right on the cutoff and it could go either way. Plus, at my a/s with EDD based on LMP it put baby in the 98th percentile... But a more appropriate 75th percentile with the updated EDD. Honestly the updated EDD is likely more accurate as I have short cycles and ovulate early. So it's not especially surprising. But yes, a little shocking to change it at this point! It was the same with DS too - he always measured a little ahead, just shy of the cutoff, and I totally expected him to come "early". And yet he stayed in there until 40+4..... This is one of biggest worries with moving the EDD this time - I don't want to feel pressured to be induced. Sorry for the blabbering..... Ha!

And totally in agreement with your first post on this - something about hitting 30 weeks (that's me tomorrow) feels like it's crunch time to get stuff done!!

I've felt a little pressured about it sneaking up so soon anyways. And I've been a little extra moody/emotional today, so suddenly jumping forward to that big 3-0 caught me off guard. I may have stress cried a tiny bit in my OB's office....!

We just signed a contract to have our basement finished!! Estimated start date is 10 weeks out.... I'm 30 weeks 😂 Company was great though and they're open to being very flexible if we need to delay the project or stop mid project and resume later due to baby! It's gonna be sweet.

Felt my first hiccups from this guy while waiting in the exam room for the OB at my appointment today. At first I thought it was just normal movement but then I realized it the same strength, in the same exact spot, over and over again in an almost rhythmic pattern. That's what hiccups from DS felt like so I'm calling them hiccups today too.

I moved up my due date on my Amazon registry so my completion discount would be available before Prime Day next week and it says you can get 15% off 2 orders!! That's awesome that it's not a one-time shot! I can do one order soon with my stroller and second monitor camera then wait and do one closer to my due date with any other random stuff I realize I need for baby!
