Does the pillow matter at this age? Anything off of Amazon with good reviews is usually my go to. Mine have regular size but very flat pillows. I just grabbed the flattest ones I could find between my find between my room and the guest room. Ditto. I recently bought dd a silk pillow case for hers because her hair is so fine it was breaking at night. We haven't had it quite long enough to know if it is helping.

Does the pillow matter at this age? Anything off of Amazon with good reviews is usually my go to. I got DS a toddler size pillow off Amazon. The only reason I went that route was bc it was machine washable. When we switched him to a bed at almost 3 we switched to a regular sized pillow that’s on the thin side. We gave it to him in the first place bc he was using his stuffed animals as a pillow.

We use a travel pillow for DD1. DD2 ends up using a stuffed animal or book or whatever else has made it's way into her crib. Weirdo.

I washed it thoroughly, but DS1 ended up using a pillow from the dog crate because everything else was too fluffy.

T.w for loss- today was Maggie’s second birthday it wasn’t too bad today last night I was a bit upset and down. It almost felt like it didn’t matter much to H. I took off work kept E home H went to work and then hockey. I spent the day spoiling E playing with her and baked a cake. I made vanilla buttercream from scratch for the first time ever. Yum. I miss her so much and why life should have been. I am still so grateful for E.

Big hugs peaseblossom55. Sending love for you and your family. No matter how grateful you are for E, it’s so understandable that you’ll always be missing M.

peaseblossom55, I'm so happy that M's birthday cake icing turned out great! Did E like it? Your sadness and the fact that you miss M are understandable and make perfect sense - and they don't take away your from your love for E! It's also okay that you and your H process the day very differently. <3

She loved the frosting. I gave her a spoon to help me spread the frosting an it just went straight to her mouth and her eyes lit up. So cute. Thank you.
