How old is your LO? 5 months
How frequently are you nursing? Every 3 hrs or so during the day.
How are nights going? Feeding-wise good. We dropped the night feed. DS nurses at 7pm and then not again until 6:30am. Sleep-wise, he does alright. We were hit by the 4 month sleep regression, then had to transition out of the swaddle, then had to adjust to him rolling over in his sleep. I feel like we're just coming out the other end of things. I'm planning on some gentle sleep training after 6 months if we're not in a good place by then.
What are your baby's hunger cues? He gets a little fussy, but really he can go pretty long without getting cranky for food. He's a pretty mellow dude.
Any questions/rants/raves?? Maybe not so much a question, but more of a confession/get-it-off-my-chest thing. DS takes 1 boob in the morning for his first feed and I pump the other side because I'm super full (he doesn't eat motn). I'm sure it's 5+ oz in each side and it'd be ridiculous of me to give him both sides (or not pump the other side). Then at daycare he gets 4 bottles, but I can only manage to pump 3x at work. So, I empty my boobs 5x a day and he eats 6x. This is fine during the week because oz-wise I always beat him in production (mainly because of the morning 1/2 side pump). However, on the weekends I feel like he's unhappy with my supply in the late afternoon because I'm never pumping at that time. The past few weekends I've been giving him the morning pumped milk as an afternoon feed (around the time he'd get the 4th bottle at daycare). Then I'm my regular fullness at bedtime instead of being tapped out.
I'm not sure if I'm dooming my supply, but I'm sorta "meh" about it this time around (as I never would have been as a ftm).
I have a decent freezer stash (180ish oz) and we'll be starting solids after 6 months, so I feel like maybe as DS gets a bit older he'll drop that 4th bottle at daycare and we'll be synced back up.

5 months
Every 2-3 hours during the day
Nights were great... until last night when she decided to want to play at 3 am. Not cool, kid.
Hunger cues? Mostly stuffing her fists in her mouth. Or crying that can't be settled by daddy rocking her.
Rant - OMG. I spilled 4.5 oz of milk on the keyboard of my work laptop Friday night. That's what I get for checking my email during non-working hours...

How old is your LO? 5 months old almost
How frequently are you nursing? Every 2-3 hours when I'm at home. He gets bottles every three hours while I'm at work
How are nights going? Going ok. We bedshare right now but want to start the crib transition soon.
What are your baby's hunger cues? Trying to eat DH's shirt, trying to eat my shirt, getting into position when we hold him 😂
Any questions/rants/raves?? Had his "four month" appointment today (he's almost five months). He gained weight, but he dropped from the 32nd to 7th percentile for weight. He has been a lot more active over the last few weeks though and I went back to work at 3 1/2 months. I'm attributing some of it to that and the adjustment from me not being around 24/7. We go back on the 5th for a weight check.
