How old is your LO: 5 weeks yesterday. Appointments: she had her one month check up last Friday and was up to 8lbs. 12oz. I have my postpartum appointment this afternoon with my OB. Milestones: she started giving social smiles and cooing all the time. We also now have tears and it's both heartbreaking and adorable. Rants/Raves/Vents: she hates being put down during the day. She'll tolerate the car seat while we're driving or in the stroller/moving, and she'll tolerate the swing as long as she's good and asleep for an hour or so, but otherwise, she has/wants to be held. I don't mind so much, because last baby and all that, so soaking in the snuggles, but it'd be nice to be able to just like pee without screaming in the background. GTKY: I don't know... I really want to do something silly like take a couple weeks off, rent an RV and do like a RT 66 road trip from start to finish and stop and see all the random road side attractions. I think it'd be fun. Not necessarily the most amazing, but right now it's all I can think of. ETA: Pictures. Girlfriend was not happy about being put down for her picture. Both kids brought her versions of their loveys to the hospital when they met her. The 3 year old gave her her dolly the other day & A2 rubbed her velvety “hair” to fall asleep just like the toddler does & it was adorable. Basically how we spend all day, e’rry day. Girlfriend tolerates being down in the swing or PNP for an hour or so, but mostly lives in my arms or on my chest.

How old is your LO: 3mo on Friday!
Appointments: none
Milestones: first camping trip, first hiking, I think he's done with 0-3 month clothes for length
Rants/Raves/Vents: it's time to teach him to fall asleep in the crib and I also know rolling/swaddle transition is coming soon. I'm both excited and worried lol
GTKY: What would be the most amazing adventure to go on? I would love to go wingsuit flying! I'll admit I would be terrified to jump but after that it would be amazing.

How old is your LO: 15 weeks tomorrow
Appointments: 4 month checkup in late June, EEG next Thursday
Milestones: pretty close to rolling back to belly I think! First night of sleeping with one arm out of the swaddle last night. He did well through the night but woke up a little earlier this morning.
Rants/Raves/Vents: just stressed about this EEG business.
GTKY: What would be the most amazing adventure to go on? I’d really like to go on a European adventure. Just traveling around England, France, Germany, Ireland, etc. and seeing all the sights.

How old is your LO: 2.5 months Appointments: Late July but a weigh-in next week. Milestones: can't think of anything Rants/Raves/Vents: We're still struggling with fussiness and spit-up. I've cut out dairy and soy and I also suspect that she's sensitive to corn and beef so those are out as well. I started my first Whole30 on Friday to rule out any grains too. I *think* we're turning a corner though. GTKY: What would be the most amazing adventure to go on? We're planning a family trip to PEI and New Brunswick next summer. I'm so excited for our kids to see the ocean. Our next trip after that will be for me and SO to take a birthday/anniversary trip 3 years from now. We're thinking Costa Rica but aren't sold.

How old is your LO: 9 weeks Appointments: she had her two month appointment today and the next one is at the end of August. Milestones: none Rants/Raves/Vents: our new double stroller (mountain buggy duet) is getting us through her early evening fussy period! She'll sleep for about 40 minutes in there and then goes down easily for bedtime. I don't know how we survived the first 8 weeks without a double stroller. GTKY: What would be the most amazing adventure to go on? I'm not adventurous in an extreme activities way (like scuba diving, skydiving, etc.). The next big vacation I'd like to take is a stopover in Iceland on the way to Scotland, with lots of hiking/walking involved.

How old is your LO: 3m Appointments: Nothing until 4m Milestones: Starting to giggle and rolling on side at night. Rants/Raves/Vents: his sleep could be worse, but I can’t wait to get to one wake up a night. I know 2-3 wakes isn’t awful and the 4m sleep regression is right around the corner. GTKY: What would be the most amazing adventure to go on? I’d love to do a trans Canadian train ride. I climbed Uluru and that was pretty freakin amazing.

How old is your LO: 3 months Appointments: none until mid-July Milestones: met his Aunt Emily and his great grandpa plus a bunch of other family. 1st family reunion. Rants/Raves/Vents: There has been a couple times where L’s feet have turned purple and got orange spots on them. I think it might be when he is cold. I will talk to the pedi about it at his 4 month appt. GTKY: What would be the most amazing adventure to go on? I think an African safari would be cool. I also want to go on a European adventure.

How old is your LO: 3 months today Appointments: our next one is the BF clinic at the end of the month Milestones: he grabbed my shirt today while feeding. Rants/Raves/Vents: I just can’t get over how much happier he is since the tongue tie was cut. Feeding is still a bit of a challenge since his suck isn’t great but we’re getting it GTKY: What would be the most amazing adventure to go on? Besides all of the ones already mentioned? I want to do a cruise to Antarctica. I want to see all the penguins!

How old is your LO: 9 weeks tomorrow
Appointments: none till 4m
Milestones: sounds that are getting awfully close to giggles
Rants/Raves/Vents: I mentioned in randoms that I think I may try to see someone for anxiety. I’m having trouble falling asleep at night and cutting my brain off from anxious thoughts. I hope it will help once DH gets home from his work trip tomorrow.
GTKY: What would be the most amazing adventure to go on? I’m just dreaming of all the ones you guys already mentioned... maybe scuba-diving in the Great Barrier Reef?
Tapatalk isn’t letting me upload a photo? 😩

How old is your LO: 8 weeks Appointments: Monday 6/11 for his 2 month appt Milestones: he slept from 8pm-4:30am! It was only one time but it feels like a milestone🤣 Rants/Raves/Vents: he is still not social smiling😔 I’m going to bring it up at his appt but google tells me it is a range. My dd smiled at 5 weeks so I’m having trouble not comparing them. I know that’s a habit I need to quit though! GTKY: What would be the most amazing adventure to go on? I’d like to travel across Europe for a few months, or island hop on a month long vacation and see beautiful locations

How old is your LO: 10 weeks on Friday
Appointments: 2 months visit yesterday with vaccinations. He's 11 lbs, 4 oz. Put on about an oz a day since our last LC visit.
Milestones: We have been EBF for 10 weeks now and he is doing well. Moving onto size 2 diapers when this pack runs out and 3-6 months clothes after the laundry is done. He's bigger than his sister.
Rants/Raves/Vents: Reflux and laundry. So much laundry.
GTKY: What would be the most amazing adventure to go on? I would love to tour Europe and Asia. I wasn't adventurous enough to do it before kids.

How old is your LO: 11 weeks
Appointments: pediatric cardiologist next week. My MIL has a rare heart condition that can be genetic so they will do an EKG and a few other tests to make sure baby's heart is fine. We did the same thing with D1 so I'm not too worried about it.
Milestones: possibly teething. She has been drooling so much and wanting everything in her mouth. I can feel a bud on the top and bottom. It feels way too early but D1 has 4 teeth by 5 months. I'm just not ready for it.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I started the mini pill after my 6 week appt and since then I've gotten my period 3 times in the past month and a half. I'm sure it's mostly because of my PCOS but I'm not sure if I should follow up with my OB.
I also have an appt next week about an external hemmorhoid that I've had since a few weeks PP that will not go away. So annoying.
GTKY: What would be the most amazing adventure to go on?
Hmm I'm not really adventurous so this is a tough one.
Once pictures are showing again I'll post a pic.

How old is your LO: 9 weeks
Appointments: Aug 6th for 4 month checkup. Funny enough that could be DDs first day of school.
Milestones: He’s trying to laugh. His laughs sound kinda like small coughs, so it’s funny.
Rants/Raves/Vents: DDs been going to Kindergarten camp all week. I really hope that DD gets the same teacher when she starts school...I really like her.
GTKY: What would be the most amazing adventure to go on? I think the next big trip I’d like to go on would be to Italy. I’d also love to visit Australia sometime and go back to Scotland.

How old is your LO: 3 months
Appointments: I need to schedule her 3 month appt but we went and weighed her at public health yesterday. She’s 11lb 11oz and 23.5in.
Milestones: she has discovered her toes and wouldn’t stop staring at them while I was taking her 3 month pictures.
Rants/Raves/Vents:
GTKY: What would be the most amazing adventure to go on?
I’d love to travel to Ireland and then head to England again. Apparently the place my great grandfather was born is now a b&b so it’d be neat to check out.

How old is your LO: 8 weeks
Appointments: two months next week
Milestones: none really - she’s still pretty easy going and happy. Lots of smiles. She’s the biggest “talker” I’ve ever seen and really responds to people. I moved the mirror on her play mat so she can see herself and she looks like Narcissus 😂😂🙌🏼
Rants/Raves/Vents: I hate hate hate hate pumping. It’s the literal worst and I can’t wait to never do it again.
GTKY: What would be the most amazing adventure to go on? Machu Piccu followed by a trip to Antarctica. I really want to do this before I’m too old to handle it. My former boss did this trip and says it was worth every single penny!

How old is your LO: 10 weeks!
Appointments: her two month appointment was Monday. She is nearly 14 pounds and doing great!
Milestones: she rolled over from front to back this morning! And can blow raspberries and imitate sounds. So much fun.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm about to go on vacation tomorrow and of course (OF COURSE) got diagnosed with bacterial vaginitis today. For the first time in my life. 5 day course of meds, no alcohol allowed. I'm filling the script but not going to treat it until I get back or it gets worse. Because eff that.
GTKY: What would be the most amazing adventure to go on? I have a loooong list! I want to ski in Chile during summertime. I want to do one of those multisport guided trips in Belize. I'd like to do a Nordic ski relay in northern Quebec. And a farm stay in Tuscany --I already did this for a couple of nights but I would love to stay put for longer.
