Is there something special that you call baby during pregnancy?!
Does baby have a cutesy nickname? Do you refer to baby by name once you've chosen one?

We didn't share DS's name until after he was born so he was never called by his name while I was pregnant. We called him Peanut! By the end everyone called him Peanut. Interestingly though, the nickname did not stick around at all after he was born.
This babe is Itty Bitty 😊

No fun names over here. I tend to just say baby but I know I have used little guy too.
With DS we didn't tell anyone his name until birth so we didn't use it, and it will be the same for this one too. We didn't even use it before birth when it was just me and MH around.

Baby brother usually, because the household revolves around my 3 year old. I call him Andrew a lot too even though we are still very much waffling on different names.

We didn't even use it before birth when it was just me and MH around. Same! I didn't want to slip up and accidentally say the name in front of anyone!

Uh, this baby is usually just called "it" or the baby. We feel bad calling the baby "it" but we don't know what else to call it when we don't know the sex!

I call him little babe, or baby boy, or by his name if it’s just me and DH around. I’m totally afraid I’ll slip up and use his name in front of people!

Uh, this baby is usually just called "it" or the baby. We feel bad calling the baby "it" but we don't know what else to call it when we don't know the sex! I did this in the beginning too and really had to try and focus on saying "baby" instead of "it" or, even better (worse?!), "this thing" 😂 Then I randomly called baby Itty Bitty one day and I liked it, so kept using it.

I've been using baby, it (which I hate), and gremlin. We didn't share L's name before she was born, and will do the same this time, we referred to her as velociraptor.

He/him/little brother
We didn't tell anyone DD's name and we'll probably do the same with this kid if we ever come up with a name. DD didn't have a name until 35 weeks so I'm not holding my breath.

We've just been saying "baby" or "it" until we found out. SO recently started calling him Lennon but DD is not on board and still calling him Eva or Wally.

We called ds1 chickpea, DS2 was squish and this baby is sushi. I have no explanation for any of these names, they just kind of happened. Lol.

DD was a surprise (team green), so we called her The Turkey while I was pregnant. Then she decided to come on Thanksgiving day, 8 days past my due date...
This time, we're calling baby boy The Pumpkin and hoping that baby will come by Halloween (one day after my EDD)

Dramaphile if ‘pumpkin’ comes on Halloween after ‘turkey’ came on thanksgiving, you officially win pregnancy
