leatherpants Have you had your thyroid checked? It’s not uncommon to experience thyroid problems pp? I’m sorry things have been so hard and you feel like yourself again. I for sure haven’t even thought of that so thanks! I’ll mention it to my dr.

We bought DS1 a ball launcher and he is so into playing with it and his tennis racket that he’s bolted up from the tv (!!!!) the second H gets home from work to play with him outside before bath. So cute. It’s this one:

ArielMermaid house stuff is the worst. I'm sorry. clementine I think you're right to get it checked out. I'm sure it's nothing but you have to trust your mom instinct. Keep us updated.

clementine I don't think you are overreacting. Both my boys had some concerns at birth that resulted in them being transferred to NICU. The doctor who sent them (it was the same one for both) let us knew it could be something or it could be nothing, but he would rather get the appropriate testing done to ensure we have the right information. I would probably do the same thing if I were you.

I have 3 more days of work before I get another 2 months off. The students and teachers are done. Administration, janitors, and a few other support staff that work through the ISD are still around. It is so quiet here. It is so hard to stay awake.

Thanks for all the reassurance ❤️ We go next Thursday for the EEG. He has to be kept awake 4 hours before the test so he sleeps during it, so I’m sure it will be loads of fun keeping him awake that long.

yianna Similac pro sensitive. I think I might switch him to the similac pro advanced though. I had a sample of it and tried it today. He seems like he spits up less. It could also just be I have small babies. DD was on the 10%...I think I was just scared of the 1% I hear ya. My first was failure to thrive.... he’s 10..#2-3 were all10th percentile. Sometimes ready to feed stays down better. Also some kids are sensitive to whey protein isolate - it didn’t agree with #3. We found honest co formula which didn’t have it and she did great on it. No projectile vomiting.

I took L back to the pedi today because that weird exaggerated startle (for lack of a better description) has happened again on 2 separate days recently. On those days, it will happen anywhere from 10-15 times over the course of the day and it started out just happening as he was falling asleep, but yesterday it was happening even when he was wide awake. And each instance is lasting longer and looks more intense, still relatively short like no more than 5 seconds, but before it was barely even lasting 1 second. Pedi said the next step is an EEG so I’m waiting on the call to schedule that. I’m freaked out. Most people keep saying it’s a startle and I’m overreacting, but I just feel like something is not right. I hope I’m wrong and it’s just a weird baby thing he’ll grow out of. This is the worst feeling. Please don’t freak out...infantile spasms maybe? Absence seizures possible - although pretty rare at this age. Did pedi refer you to a neurologist?

We had a pretty awesome day today. Please don’t quote....I’ll probably delete some details later. We went to the big Charity Horse Show that my city puts on every year. they were drumming up publicity. They did a scavenger hunt and I ended up finding one. It got us two free tickets to the show and a free necklace or keychain. I also unknowingly found one of two special ones that got me a ride in a Wells Fargo stagecoach. I asked if I could have DD ride with me, but for liability reasons they didn’t want her to ride in the show ring. So instead they let me and my family ride in the carriage from where they hitched up the horses to the ring.

Sorry for the quiet. The boys are keeping me on my toes with DH being gone. Thankfully he gets home tomorrow night. I’m having trouble getting to sleep at night, and it seems to be anxiety-related. I may try to set up a time to see someone. At the risk of sounding dramatic, I think I have some lingering emotional trauma surrounding the accident where we lost our dog.
Anyway, it just seems like something I should be proactive about, especially if it could be PPD/A.

auri That looks so fun! It looks like your DD was having a fun time, too. clementine Just echoing what others have said - I don’t think you’re overreacting at all, and I’m glad you have an appt. I hope they’re able to put your mind at ease.

That possibility has been on my mind. We’re going for an EEG and following up with Neuro.

i have just been busy with trying to keep up with everything/life and then felt bad that i couldn’t keep up here! h has been working crazy hours and i think the baby and daycare transition finally caught up with dd1, but things are calming down.
i can’t believe some of us have 3 month olds now. like how?? after a few rough nights with constantly busting out of the swaddle we finally transitioned to the merlin suit and have been getting minimum 5 hr stretches (first night it was 10😱) and i’m starting to feel human. that’s like he biggest news i have. oh and we finally got a new car so i can get more than one bag of groceries now when i have both girls.

There isn’t any visible signs but my nipples is like a thousand needles of fire and I can feel it actually down inside my breast. I thought I had a bad latch and a tight bra but I googled and thrush came up. I hope I’m wrong. It’s inly one side and been that way for weeks.

I'm sorry there are so many health issues going around here. I hope everything checks out with the EEG clementine. I don't think you are overreacting. That sounds scary and I would want everything checked out too. I hope your tests come out good too leatherpants. Fx it's not thrush ArielMermaid.
