I made a gallon of iced coffee for the fridge (a la pioneer woman) this weekend.
It's AMAZING.
With stevia from a jar and whole milk.
I need to plant a stevia plant again. Mine died over the winter.

I poured the end of yesterday's pot in a cup and splashed a little vanilla almond milk in it on my way out the door to drop the boys at bball camp this morning. I've got a fresh pot brewing now though that I'm pretty excited to drink

Had a weird dream this morning and woke up angry and tired ((( Dreamed that my company's owners sold the company and the new investors promised to make it great again (at least one of my company's owners is a Trump fan. ugh.) and the new investors signed the paperwork and then announced they were closing the company down and I went off on this investor guy in a suit and gave a while rant about how awful they were and they broke their promises and they were putting good people on the street. And then I woke up and I was full of righteous anger and it was 20 minutes before my alarm. ugh. So, I'm about to have my second beverage of the day. First was my usual soy latte with Lavazza during my morning commute and now I'm having some black tea with a splash of half and half and one sugar.

I started with hot, black coffee, but it's going to be in the 90s all week, so I've made the switch and am now working on an iced coffee with a cube of sugar and some whipped cream.

Coffee started giving me crazy heartburn. Sad.
So I switched to iced red raspberry leaf tea with honey. And occasionally some regular unsweetened for the caffeine.

We started with the iced coffee today, but didn't get the ice cube/coffee ratio right. And it was not helped that neither of our canteens fit our ice cubes. And C has been SUPER fussy today (I think that tooth #6 is the culprit), so at lunch I finally got to drink some coffee and I just poured it into a pint glass with ice and maple syrup. It was delicious. For tomorrow we're pre freezing our canteens with some water in them, but I also ordered some water bottle ice cube trays.

Is it? I really didn't know. I don't think so. This has been a common term I've heard my whole life. Like in the south. Far from Boston.

It's all sticky and hot and gross already this morning and from the moment I woke up all I could think about was a Coke. So I went out and bought a can at 8am. And drank it. It may be the most delicious soda I've ever had in my life.

It's reminding me of my childhood like crazy. And now it's feeling incomplete without Coke.

I agree, but I don't think that stations should still be playing it. There are so many new excellent radio shows available and not nearly enough airtime. It seems silly to give that airtime to a show that is no longer being recorded. Folks can podcast old Car Talk episodes whenever they want a fix.

Overall agave is mild as far as natural sweetener options go. It does have a flavor that some people love, some people hate and most people don't care about. Did you ever have my truffles or chocolate spread? Both of those were agave sweetened.

I have tried your truffles. I didn't even notice they were sweetened with something unfamiliar so I guess I like it.

Agave's not sugar-free, which is the difference. I can't stand sugar-free sweeteners, whether natural or man-made, but Agave tastes fine to me. Agave is in the same category as honey- it has natural sugars, but I believe it is supposed to be lower glycemic index or something.
