For the purposes of this check-in, we will define extended breastfeeding as breastfeeding beyond 1 year. Questions are repeated and suggestions are appreciated! 1. How old is your LO? 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 3. What would you title this chapter in your breastfeeding journey? 4. What would be your go-to baby shower gift for a mom-to-be who wants to BF? Pregnant & BFing Moms: How are you doing? Any issues with supply, pain, aversion? Questions for other moms? Tandem Nursing Moms: How are you doing? Any current challenges? Questions for other moms? Non-BFing question: What do you love and not love about each of your children's current stages/ages?

1. How old is your LO? 15 months 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 4 -6 3. What would you title this chapter in your breastfeeding journey? "We just did" or "Not right now" 4. What would be your go-to baby shower gift for a mom-to-be who wants to BF? I would try to give something that could still be useful even if BFing doesn't work out - a Boppy or a nursing cover that's also a car seat/stroller canopy. Non-BFing question: What do you love and not love about each of your children's current stages/ages? I am glad she's walking all over now so we can take her out anywhere we want, but she's mastering running now which is not as fun for us

1. 2.5 yo 2. 2-4x 3. I want to stop doing this/when will it end/I can't make her stop. 4. I've made lactation cookies a few times. I also love the mybreastfriend and bamboobies.
QOTW: DD2 has usually been the sweetest and biggest trooper of a kid. The attitude is hitting so hard right now. It's like where did my little snuggle bug go? She's pretty funny/goofy. She is also most definitely a Sagittarius.
@kelltothekell , how are you 3rd tri already? Crazy!

Non-BFing question: What do you love and not love about each of your children's current stages/ages? I am really enjoying this age. I love watching him learning to talk. I don't love the mini tantrums.

G spent the night with the inlaws last night. I was surprised to wake up MOTN engorged as all F. I had to pump. I hadn't nusrsed since 1pm that day but holy uncomfortable. Is this how weaning will be? Cause he's not staying overnight anywhere again till we are done done.

I can go 48-60 hours without nursing (when on travel) and have no discomfort, and then pick back up without a problem when we are back together- my LO is 2.5 though.

Hello! I guess I go here now!
1. How old is your LO? 12.5 months old 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? I don’t keep track. We nurse on demand so every 1-3 hours. 3. What would you title this chapter in your breastfeeding journey? And the beat goes on 4. What would be your go-to baby shower gift for a mom-to-be who wants to BF? Nursing pads
Non-BFing question: What do you love and not love about each of your children's current stages/ages? DS1 is 3 and I’m not a fan of his moodiness and picky eating. I love how much he continues to learn each day. For DD her separation anxiety can make little things incredibly hard. But I love how fast she’s learning things too. She’s officially a walker now so watching her perfect that is pretty great.

Is this how weaning will be? Cause he's not staying overnight anywhere again till we are done done. they are still taking in a lot of milk at around a year. at that point i could go about 10 hours (a full workday) without discomfort, but more than that was pushing it. i wouldn't expect to be able to go 24 hours without nursing/pumping until LO is closer to 2. but it does depend on how enthusiastic of a nurser your LO is.
