Age: 15 months Milestones: Still chatting up a storm and mimicking everyone. Also, add running to his list of 'can-dos.' Challenges: Teeth. OMG just come through already. And the bottle. Always the bah-bah. Funny/cute stories: enchanted - J calls them 'ping tails.' It's adorable. As for C's cute story this week, we took him to get ice cream and after every bite he just laughed and said, "MMMMMMMM!" He was so cute. How are you? Not great. Just feeling very overwhelmed with life. Anything else? A drunk driver hit our car last week and it may be totaled. Thank goodness it was parked and no one was injured, but WTF, Universe? Enough already. QOTW: Puzzles. I love jigsaw puzzles.

The other guy's insurance is paying for the damages, but if they total it then... well, we have a decision to make.
I'm just at a point of throwing my hands up.
DONE. So done.

Age: 3
Milestones: preschool screening next week, I think I get to observe behind a 2 way mirror. Not certain what the purpose of this screening is, but all kids in our district have to have it whether they go to the public school or not.
Challenges: not kid related but revolves around how fast our summer is already filling up and trying to manage my kid’s time. Not even sure how to articulate it.
It’s also rainy here so trying to keep him occupied indoors and clean at the same time.
Funny/cute stories:
How are you? Feeling overwhelmed this week, but overall I’m fine
Anything else?
QOTW: What is your favorite way to waste time? Sitting with my feet up listening to music or a podcast, things that require minimal brain activity

oldbaylover1024, I'm glad everyone was okay! That's so scary. It happened to my brother once and was such a pain in the ass to deal with.

Age: 3. Very very 3. Milestones: Nothing new, unfortunately (no big PT changes to report...) Challenges: He's so emotional. I think he's picking up on H's and my stress because EVERYTHING results in tears lately. Funny/cute stories: I took him horseback riding this weekend. I think he's taking after me on the horse front. He's been telling anyone who will listen that his best friend is a "big white horse with red spots." He has a natural little seat and good instinct. He also kept referring to the horses as "my white friend" and "my brown friend" all weekend, so that was interesting... How are you? I'm overwhelmed, but okay. I had a good weekend, so I'm feeling a bit more chill about everything. Anything else? H's orders became official yesterday, so now it's public information and we can start making actual plans. That's helping my anxiety a bit. QOTW: I'd say knitting, but at least I can pretend it's productive! I love jigsaw puzzles too, oldbaylover1024.

oldbaylover1024 I’m sorry you were hit by a drunk driver and all the stress that I imagine comes along with that. I don’t even know what to say, other than I’m so glad you all are safe.
