This may get long so i apologize.
DD is 4 weeks old and EBF. She is rarely happy or content and fusses a lot. She pulls off especially on my right breast during let down so I’m assuming it’s too fast for her. She has gas, hiccups and spits up very often. I would say she spits up at least 8 out of 10 feeds. Almost always spits up when sleeping even if she burps and i hold her upright for a while. She has hiccups at least 1x a day and gas everyday. When in her swaddle she grunts a lot because I think she is trying to get gas out and can’t move well.
She only nurses one side per feeding. The other side always lets down and I leak quite a bit during the feed. I also sometimes have random let downs on each side when not feeding. I don’t feel engorged or anything. She also doesn’t latch well and I get creases on my nipple or it blanches white.
I’m wondering if her fussiness May be from an oversupply? I know the let down is too fast for her but would that cause her to be so fussy generally speaking?

I have always had dual let down with both kids until I weaned them. Get yourself some good breast pads. I have to use disposable since I leak through the two different brand reusable ones I’ve tried. For the first couple months I would express into a towel/burp cloth during the first couple let downs to help, but i still had a pretty OALD. She eventually got the hang of it as she got older. Your milk is still regulating at 4 weeks so they may calm down a bit as time goes by. You can also try laid back nursing so that gravity helps the flow not be as strong.

Also there are products. Bamboozles? That can collect the other side milk if it’s excessive...like an ounce or so...of leakage on the other side.
If you can get her to latch until let down, pull off and let the firehouse spray go into a towel, it can help with both OALT gas and foremilk/hindmilk imbalance that are making baby gassy and uncomfortable.

I'll second laid-back nursing. I found it helped DD a lot. Pulling off can also mean she needs to burp mid-feed - I usually had a washcloth or burpcloth handy in case that happened and I was letting down.
For the latch, have you tried the flipple technique? I still use that if DD has a shallow latch. There are some good YouTube videos showing how to do it.

I had overactive letdown and second burping when she pulls off and laid back nursing. Once DD got to be a few months old, the overactive letdown wasn’t an issue anymore. Also, increasing tummy time if she tolerates it helps a lot with developing esophageal muscles and eventually minimizes spit up.
