Had anything strange, interesting, or frankly, mundane happened to you today that you think you should share with the class? Tell me about it....

Overheard at a diner, by a busboy: Some people just don't know how to clean up after themselves.

At the wal marts: The cart guy directed me out of my parking spot. There were no cars coming. There was plenty of space. I have a rear backup camera and sensors on my bumper. But yeah, thanks guy!

I woke up at 7am feeling rested and L slept until 7:30. That was a nice change from normal!
Also, some magpies were chasing the baby bluejays around this morning so my husband went storming out in just his robe and threw shoes at them (ETA: not to hit them, just to scare them away).

I saw two grown men wearing matching Hawaiian shirts last night. They were both with what I assume were their wives. The wives were not wearing matching outfits.

MH parallel parked our van in front of a group of people in their early 20s last night. My FIL got out of the passenger side and one of the guys held his umbrella for my FIL. He then offered to give the umbrella to him. It was...odd.

At dinner M decided to give herself a lemon curd facial. So that happened.

I successfully installed 5 carseats in a 12 passenger van. It took a lot of trial and error to figure out which carseat to put where to best utilize the few spots that had latch and make sure everyone could actually get to their seats. We pick up the 5th child tomorrow and it is going to be so much fun!

We went on a 5 mile hike today (a bit longer than we'd intended) and pretty much broke the dog, who we brought along with us. Poor thing kept plopping down in the grass toward the end of the hike. But we saw a pretty covered bridge and got a lot of expertise. Also, no photos, but we saw two snakes swimming in the river. Cool, and also kind of Freaky. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's like C wants to make up for accidentally STTN last night. In spite of going to bed at a totally normal hour, I've gotten a total of 4 hours of sleep divvied up into 4 chunks. Ugh.

I started doing yoga with goats last week. I was suckered in because of the goats. I have never done yoga before in my life. I don't think I really "get" yoga yet, but I need exercise and I like goats so I'll keep trying.

I guess it's regular yoga but goats wander all over and sometimes the babies climb on you. I don't know much about yoga though, so I hope this picture helps.

Sooo, would people pay to come and yoga with my goats? I can also offer chicken yoga... goats totally, chicken poop is too goopy though. find a yoga instructor to come teach for you, it is quite trendy right now. You may make some extra spending money.

With goats?? Am I the only one that doesn't get the point of doing yoga with other things? Like goats, dogs, heat, etc? You do you, but I like doing the yoga alone, without distractions. And I like petting goats, without doing the yoga.

I would literally die doing hot yoga. Goat yoga is something I could get into.
I actually did take a yoga class 2x a week for several months a few years ago and I loved the way it made my body feel (it was a vinyasa flow class?). BUT I was really bad at even simple poses like downward dog. I don't think my instructor was impressed.

I did Bikram yoga when I first moved to Vermont. The first time I was all, "Well, I didn't love that, but I'm in a new place and would really like to meet new people, so I'll come again." The second time I was all, "WTF WAS I THINKING?!?!?! THIS IS AWFUL!!!"

I have so many yoga comments I want to make. Who is the one in the red off to the side? Please tell me that isn't the instructor. I used to LOVE hot yoga! It does actually have a purpose... the heat helps your body to loosen up and become more flexible quicker than a cool room. Plus you sweat out toxins. I would love to pet goats. But I feel like they might be distracting during yoga. Your yoga teacher doesn't need to be impressed with your yoga skills, nor should you care to impress your teacher. Yoga is a journey to yourself, through yourself. And finally, if a yoga teaching certification isn't required for goat yoga, then I'll come teach at your place critter015. Edited to fix stuff.
