H and I met when we were about 6. My family ended up building a house on the same street he lived on, we went to school together a short time, played together, and then I moved out of state. We reconnected on facebook about a decade later, and the rest is history. lol
One of my favorite memories is taking our first family vacation to the beach last year. Seeing him play with DS in the water for the first time was so special. I am looking forward to making more memories with our new addition this fall!

notelsie what a cool story!! My H and I met at the local skating rink. He cleaned off his skates and threw the snow ball at me, it hit me right in between the eyes and I was mortified. He came over to apologize and we hit it off from there!

MH and I met at a college party. I was a high school senior, he was a college freshman. My friends and I ended up taking all of his Jell-O shots and he tried to get us kicked out. I tried to kick him out for being an obnoxious person in general. Anyway, looooong story short, we became very close friends. He was my ride home many times when I was too drunk to drive, bought me Waffle House at 2 am when I was too broke to eat, and was there with movies and pizza after every breakup.
We started dating 5 years after we met and the rest is history.

It's really cool to have so much history.

My H and I met online. I lived in Arizona and he lived in Illinois. We did the long distance stuff for awhile and then he came out to visit. On our first date we went to this Wildlife Park but it was pouring rain and we were there with like, 8 other people. The shut the park down but invited the people that were already there to do a close up meet and greet with some animals inside of the gift shop. It was a really cool experience. He ended up extending his stay because my Grandma passed away. He left a week later and moved to Arizona 2 weeks after going home. The rest is history.

We met in 8th grade language arts class, when I moved to town. We ended up becoming close friends in high school and started dating our junior year.
funny story: the day we decided to start dating I asked him if he was ever going to ask me out. He said he wanted to let fate decide and flipped a coin. “Heads we date” and luckily it came up heads. My husband to this day is mortified he suggested it, but claims if it had been tails he would have said “there’s a head on the eagle.” I’m glad my husband was a lucky coin flipper!

We met at a party in college and got married like 5 seconds later, after graduation. I’m horrified at the speed at which it all happened, looking back. But we’re still happy so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

I met him at a birthday camping weekend for my sister. He was there with his best friend (my sister's then boyfriend) and I was there with my then boyfriend. Apparently he told his friend to let him know if I ever dumped my boyfriend, his friend replied 'well I'm not gonna kill the guy.'
We saw each other here and there but I was with my boyfriend for another year. When he and I broke up I messaged my husband on Facebook and we went out after a week or two of chatting.
Also, he and his friend met my sister at the bar where she worked. They were there hanging out with a bartender who they met through their WOW guild. So basically I know my husband because of WOW.

MH likes to tell people we met at a bar, but that’s not really true - yes, we were at a bar, but we were there with a mutual friend and a group of people. It wasn’t a random bar meetup.
Shortly after that, he started dating the cousin of the guy who introduced us, and I didn’t see him again until they broke up a few months later. Once we were both single, we started spending more time together and we’ve been together ever since!
My favorite memory together is when we traveled to New Zealand for a few weeks. We rented a car and traveled all over the country. It was the coolest trip! We really love to travel but that was by far our most adventurous trip.

I met J when we were both working at Trader Joe's. I heard him talking to the store manager about how much he liked Battlestar Galactica and I had just moved back to the area and wanted to make some new friends, so I invited him to come over and watch Battlestar with me when the next episode aired. According to my roommate, we started on opposite ends of the couch and by the time the night was over, we were right next to each other. She prodded me to invite him out to a group dinner the next night, and rest is history, we'll be married for 8 years next month. My roommate/best friend met her husband the same week.
When J proposed to me, he did it in Love Park in front of the LOVE statue on Valentine's day because he is a cheesy romantic (I am much less so). I had no idea he was going to propose, and thought we were just having lunch in the city with a couple of friends and my friend suggested we take photos at the statue together. She got her camera out and we posed and he dropped down on one knee. I was so shocked, I first said "Are you serious?" and then "Oh, you big cheeseball!" and the finally remembered to say "Yes!" I'm sure I made him even more nervous! It made for some pretty funny and sweet photos.

Mine is going to be 100% clichés so I'll keep it short. We meet in the dorms at college, and my favorite memory with him is getting married.
The memory I'm most surprised to find I treasure is one night while we were traveling when I was frazzled and lost it, think much crying, and he literally sang me to sleep.
I love my SO. He is a bang-up person, so supportive, caring, and sensitive to others. He's goofy and brilliant and a splendid father. He always goes the extra mile. I don't deserve him, but I don't feel bad because nobody possibly could.

H and I are high school sweet hearts, started dating my freshman year Favorite memory...hmm...I can't pick just one! When we first started dating he tried to impress me by doing a back hand spring (not sure why he thought it would impress me, lol) and totally did not complete it and messed up his ankle pretty bad, haha. I'm also so so bad and always ruin surprises, like literally always, BUT he managed to surprise me with our engagement which I give him a lot of props for. That's a big secret to keep!

DH's proposal was not a surprise, but he doesn't know that. Poor guy didn't know about incognito and all his ads turned to rings overnight.

MH and I met online almost 13 years ago. We are a match.com success story.
One of my favorite memories of us together is from climbing Mt Kiliminjaro. It was so physically and mentally grueling but we we did it together. We supported and pushed one another, definitely ah expedience neither one of us will ever forget.
