I'm 34D or maybe 34DD. I feel that my boobs sag and I don't look good in certain types of fitted shirts because I just need a good lift. Where are the best places to buy high quality bras? Cost isn't a big factor as I recognize I might have to pay more but if you've also found a cheaper brand that does the trick then that's icing on the cake.

First ensure your measuring correctly. This is by far the best I have found. www.brasizecalculator.tkMy favorite brands are the European brands like fantasie, freya, and elomi. Panache is also good quality but just doesn't fit me right. You can get most on amazon with free returns.

Make sure the cups lay flat, where the wires meet on your sternum should not show a gap.
I was wearing a bra 2 sizes too big for years and it was so uncomfortable.
If you have a boutique near you, they are the best. They may be expensive, but they will work one on one with you to make sure you have the right fit. But I'd try Norstrom if that's all you have.
Or order one or two bras in sister sizes to compare and return.

I tend to go to Dillard's because that's what we have. The ladies are very knowledgeable and can help me find a good fit. Then I usually order the same style from Amazon when I want another.

brandiewine11 wow-just read trough that article. I had no idea that 30DD and 36DD are not the same in terms of cup size, makes sense but I never thought about it before. I'll measure when I get home, thanks for the tip! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm a fan of Soma for larger cup sizes.

I agree with measuring to make sure you have the right fit. Back when I was nursing E and still had boobs, my correctly sized bras were amazing after trying to deal with ones in the wrong size for so long. Amazon was awesome for finding nursing bras in odd sizes.
