We decided to meet with our RE next week to discuss options. We have one more embryo and we originally weren’t going to transfer it, but DH thinks we’ll regret it down the road if we don’t. He also surprised me with a secret savings account he was saving money for my dream European trip, but said we could use it for this transfer. It was an emotional weekend for sure.
I go in for another beta tomorrow to make sure it fell to a negative.

I went in for my 21 day progesterone today. Not super worried about it because my fertility monitor and my temping both indicate I ovulated. Interestingly, the femara made me ovulate about 3 days earlier than normal. Not sure if that will be good or bad but we'll see.
***TW: lc mentioned***
I am a little nervous because I am due to get my period the day after my birthday. I found out about DS on my 34th birthday (3 years ago). I usually can get a positive hot at about 11 dpo, which will be a few days before my birthday. Do I POAS knowing that there is probably a good chance I'll get a negative and ruin my birthday? Will I be able to wait until after my birthday?

DrHooch that’s a hard situation, I don’t know what I’d do. I hope this cycle goes well!

DrHooch - i’m all about waiting and not ruining your birthday, but I also know how hard it is and have never made it past 10 days beyond an ovulation/transfer/ etc. mnj05 - so sweet of your DH to have that savings. I hope your RE gives some insight about transferring your last embryo. Lining check is tomorrow and my transfer is next Thursday. I’m ready but really nervous.

SOS
H has to decide on insurance by tomorrow am because the company decided to switch providers. Which sucks. Currently my awesome all female OB group and the RE that got us A on the first IUI are covered on our current HMO. They are not covered on the new HMO so I'd have to find a new all female OB group AND get a referral to a new RE and start over. OR we can pay 150$ more per month to get the new PPO, which all my awesome doctors are covered on (and not need any referrals!). A side benefit of PPO is that H's therapist is still covered (He's not covered on the new HMO, but H said he can just stop seeing the counselor but in my opinion, that really isn't an option.)
WWYD? Is it selfish of me to want the more expensive PPO at least until (Hopefully!) we conceive this summer with RE and deliver with the OB? I can technically switch myself to my employer insurance in December and have my OB still covered- just no IF coverage on my employers plan. I think I'm super emotional about this all due to the fact that we're IF. Like, I already don't have a choice or say in when I have kids or how many I can have, and now to think that it's going to come down to insurance and new doctors. I really don't want to start over and I really really really feel comfortable with my OBs. (I didn't have my first completed PAP smear til them. I have severe anxiety over appointments, until I found these two docs.)But at the same time, while I just literally got a small pay increase of $150 biweekly before taxes, that would cover the difference in monthly premiums (Difference between HMO and PPO is $150/month. But then literally would still be paycheck to paycheck, not "saving" anything outside of gifts and tax returns, no new car for me, etc.)
UGH. And it has to be decided tonight, and the new insurance would start March 1st.

Yes, and we two really nice looking embryos. Trying to stay busy so I don’t obsess. Now my DH, DD, and me are all ill. Praying that illness doesn’t mess with my success with my last two embryos.

Good luck today crazycatlady6!! grover I know it’s probably past time for you to choose, but I’d pay the extra for now to keep all of the same doctors. In my opinion, it’s important to be comfortable with your doctors and have people who understand your history. hoosiermama76 I hope y’all feel better soon! Praying it doesn’t affect anything and at least one of those embryos sticks!

grover- what did you end up doing? I had a similar thing happen with DH’s insurance where they will no longer cover my RE. We ended up paying OOP for our transfer since we’ve been with her for 4 years and starting all over was not an option in my mind.

crazycatlady6, DrHooch, I decided to keep the doctors and do the PPO. It's more expensive for the montly premiums, but I get the piece of mind of my doctors. And I scheduled my RE appointment for our consult, in early April unless an opening opens up on Good Friday.

I had my first beta for my FET, and it was 25. Not the best and could go either way, but nurse said that the number isn’t bad for a FET. My first beta with my loss last spring was 22 for a ET, so I am a little frightened to say the least. But, today, I’m pregnant, and I’m going to try to be optimistic this time
