I'm going to jump in here! My EDD in 9/4 going from LMP. I have a 2yo son who keeps me on my toes, and I'm still a little baffled as to how exactly I'll handle two...I guess we'll find out!
TW
I have a history of early losses, most recently an ectopic last August. After four encouraging betas, I have an early US tomorrow to make sure that this egg made it to the ute. I'm very cautiously optimistic.

Thinking of you and your ultrasound today CharlieB!!! Thank you for thinking of me! We saw a gestational sac and yolk sac, but no fetal pole today. And everything was right where it’s supposed to be. I go back next Thursday for a repeat. MH is so relieved. I’m still a bit on edge until we see a teeny heartbeat, but definitely happy that it’s not ectopic!

I think our ultrasound tech person said at least 25% of the time with early dating ultrasounds people need to come back because even a couple days can make a HUGE difference.

I really should have waited a few days, but the anticipation got the best of me. The tech said that I’m measuring 5w3d (I’m 6+1 from LMP), but I O’d later than usual and didn’t start getting squinters until 10 dpo, so everything is probably (hopefully) right on track. Now I just need this week to fly by!

That's great everything is where it should be. I bet you had a sigh of relief. When do they say you can find the hb again? I really am rusty at all of this.

I don't know if that's the earliest you could see/hear a hb though. I know that's when they generally schedule intake appts at my doc's office because they do an early dating u/s as a part of that intake appt.

A few can catch it earlier, many won’t hear it until later. We heard my son’s at 6 + a few days.

Congratulations and welcome! Also sorry for your losses and the added stress that it brings to pregnancy. I’m glad you’re getting early monitoring and good news!
