Which planner(s) did you choose for the year? I’m going to try a Hobonichi Techo hfor personal use, and I’m sticking with the Happy Planner for family stuff. Why did you choose it? I am hoping to get into the habit of journaling everyday but the set up for happy Planner works best for me! Cost (if your comfortable sharing): I got it in October at Michaels for $10 (50% off plus 25% off whole order coupon) in October. Any others you considered? I contemplated the recollections one by Michaels but I don’t like the binder! I love that you can add/remove from Happy Planner. Edit: to fix picture

I decided to go with a Happy Planner this year. I tried a bullet journal last year and while I loved it, setting it up became a chore I didn't have time for. I like/need the pretty stuff to keep me motivated but on weeks I don't have time to do that I am hoping that having the happy planner already set up will make me want to use it. I also bought the budget expansion pack as that's one of my goals this year.

I bought a Recollections spiral bound vertical layout for home. I had one last year too. I use it mostly for managing our schedules and for meal planning.
For work I'm using a recollections binder with a combination of a daily insert pack and grid paper for bullet journalling. I really like this set up because it lets me be flexible based on what I'm doing that week.
I bought a large happy planner that I was going to use for home this year, but I really missed the pouch in the recollections spiral. So I'm going to use it as a gratitude journal and maybe to track what I'm reading and watching instead.
I considered a Day Timer for work before deciding on the binder.

EDC is a bujo in my Baron Fig Confidant. I've been using one off and on for almost two years. I love the hard cover and the paper. I always come back to bullet journalling. I got the deluxe Happy Planner for my budget/home planner. I don't love the colors, but I wanted just monthly with notes pages, so here we are. It was $18 after a 40% off coupon.

Which planner(s) did you choose for the year? I'm going to try bullet journaling for personal and my go-to Happy Planner for family/home stuff
Why did you choose it? I love the Happy Planner, but I was getting tired of the same old layouts for everything, so I'm going to mix it up and try my hand at bullet journaling as well. (And still use my happy planner for family stuff/meal plans)
Cost (if your comfortable sharing): Um...I got my bullet journal on amazon for 21$ and the Happy Planner calendar extension for Christmas to add to my HP
Any others you considered? Nope

Which planner(s) did you choose for the year? Classic happy planner.
Why did you choose it? Like the layout.
Cost (if your comfortable sharing): like 20 bucks. I got it back in October.
Any others you considered? I looked around a little but like the happy planner layout and decoration options.
I hate the purple rings though. How hard is it to switch them?

peachsmama, switching the rings aren’t hard just tedious when you do the whole thing! I have blue and pink extra large rings!

Which planner(s) did you choose for the year? Plum Paper vertical. I customized the M-A-E layout this year.
Why did you choose it? This is my third year with a PPP. I love the covers, the layout options, the paper, everything. And now I’m finding more shops with stickers for it, so that makes it even better.
Cost (if your comfortable sharing): $45ish?
Any others you considered? I briefly considered an EC, but the cost of the PPP made me stick with what I know.

I have an Erin Condren hourly and also a bullet Journal. The bullet Journal is a B5 dot grid notebook from ZenArt and was 12.95 on Amazon.

I have a happy planner. Last year I purchased an 18 month book and I'm still going strong.
I bought a hard cover and a expense tracker expansion.
I really like the upgraded cover.

I'm going to dip my toes in here. I don't play much outside of my BMB, but I am trying to get into planning. I really need to get more organized and I feel like writing everything down will help me not feel like I have to remember every. single. thing. on my own.
I bought a cheap, basic dated planner for $7 with a decent set of colored pens. If I continue to keep up with it, I'll let myself splurge in a few months on a nicer one with stickers, etc. and likely a budget expansion too.
From my brief research, I would consider a happy planner next.
Hope yall don't mind me jumping right in.

McBenny , I really like that cover! I do too. I wouldn't order it cause of the religious aspect but I really liked what it said so I said screw it.

Which planner(s) did you choose for the year? I had already started an 18mo Happy Planner for the last 1/3 of 2017. Also using the budget expansion but not finding it super useful for my current budget setup. Why did you choose it? Lost my bullet journal mojo, which I did for almost all of 2017 up until then. Just wanted a quick and easy structure already there. Liked the idea of the rings and being able to pop things in and out. Cost (if your comfortable sharing): 60% off at Michael’s. Any others you considered? Not really... but now that I’m a few months into it I’m seeing cute planners everywhere and wondering if they’d be a better fit. I’m getting in my groove with the HP but at the same time noticing all of the little things I’d change if I could.

I’m using a traveler’s notebook with bullet journaling and other inserts.
I like bullet journaling but sometimes I don’t have time to create spreads and such. So I have printed monthly calendar and meal planning inserts and I usually bullet journal my dailies and collections. If I’m too busy to bullet journal dailies than I also have inserts that are printed that I can write in.
Cost: varies. I purchased to cover for $30 and most inserts are around $4-5. However I finally figured out how to print my own dot grid paper so cost will come down some.
Any others considered? Maybe different inserts. I also went down in size. I was in a B6 and now I’m using A6. I like the idea of HP and others like it but I feel like it would be too bulky to carry around and then I’d want all the stickers. I like that I can bullet journal and decorate with stencils.

I got a plum paper planner for my daily stuff this year since I’m not sure how much time I’ll have to do bullet journal layouts when the baby’s comes. I’m using a limelife insert for my bullet journal at work. I haven’t quite narrowed down my budget planner yet.

Which planner(s) did you choose for the year? Franklin Planner, Serenity 2 page per day, Compact Size in a DayTimer Kathy Davis Fabric Binder I had from 2016
Why did you choose it? It was what I wanted. After a year of trying a 2-page per week layout, I went back to the 2 page per day because it's what I prefer; and the design of the pages is pretty.
Cost (if your comfortable sharing): right about $80 AUS for the planner pages, expense envelopes (for budgeting) and a new set of tabs (because the old ones were from 1999 and showing their age)
Any others you considered? I considered the Foodie design and the Monticello design, but in the end went with the Serenity because I've used it before I know I like it. The only thing I wish it has was daily quotes like other designs. I would have gone for the Blooms design if they had not redesigned it with wide-spaced lines and images that clutter the pages.
