I got my kitten on Sat and I still haven't decided on a name. Flame free Wed confession...it's taking me longer to name my cat, than it took me to decide on a name for my baby. DH suggested Mr. Squiggles, DD suggested Fawn or Rainbow. I halfway almost want to name him Sirius from Harry Potter, but I'm not sure it's right. Also pdq the pictures. poof  |

Well, right now he's being pretty skittish and spent two days hiding under my bed. He's very quiet compared to my older kitty. I was petting him and he started purring...but I could barely hear it. He did come out and do some exploring while DD was sleeping. I was playing with him and a little kitty fishing pole. |

My vote is always for Harry Potter, so I'd go Sirius. Our Aussie is Luna and both our dogs have Harry Potter tags. |

I think it really suits the cat. |

I like Nimbus and also assumed it was after the broomstick.
When I was 10 ish I desperately wanted a black cat named Salem. Like Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

UGH, my favorite children's book for awhile when I was little was "Nimby." He's a cumulonimbus cloud who shapes himself extravagantly. I don't entirely remember... I need to break it out for H (age almost 4).
I vote Cumulonimbus!

I think it's officially Nimbus. I told DD this morning and asked what she thought. She told me "Nimbus is a wonderful name!" She really exaggerated the word wonderful.
