Hey Ladies! OMG wickedcandy !!! So excited for you! And love that you're going with crimpgirl too - you two are going to have a BLAST! So sweet of menrandes to send you some awesome NKOTB gear! And so glad to hear that Marley is doing better! We're doing ok. I posted on IG not too long ago that we lost one of our furbabies. He was a little over 14 and was starting to slow down a bit, but his passing definitely came as a shock. How we found out that something was up was actually due to a copperhead bite he had a few days before he passed. That was actually a blessing in disguise, if you can believe that. H took him to the Emergency Vet on a Saturday night and while the on-call vet was examining him, she noticed that his spleen was slightly enlarged and mentioned that we needed to have our vet check it out first thing come Monday. He was super loopy from the meds treating the snake bite that he was pretty much lethargic all day Sunday. We took him in again Sunday evening around 5ish b/c although he was eating and drinking a little, his gums were super pale and when we called about that they said just to bring him in. They did scans to see whether there was any fluid in his abdominal area and there wasn't so they said just to take him home, take it easy & to call our vet ASAP come Monday. I had an early deposition out of town Monday & wanted to cancel, but MH said to just go ahead and go, he'll be fine taking him in. Once he got to the vet's, they did a scan & there was blood in his stomach leaking from the spleen and the vet had to do emergency surgery. He did very well pre, during and post op but took awhile to come to. Our vet wanted him monitored overnight so that night MH transported him to the Emergency Vet for observation. Not sure when exactly, but sometime during the transport he died (the emergency vet staff said his heart had already stopped beating upon arrival). Our vet mentioned that if it wasn't for the snake bite, he might have just literally dropped dead within a week anyway due to a ruptured spleen. The bite led to the splenectomy which most likely relieved him from any pain he may have had. Although we still have four other dogs, we're all definitely missing him terribly. We're so glad that we have some photos of him with our rainbow so we can at least share those with her when she gets older. Work has been super busy for both H and I and I'm beginning to realize how nice it is to have my mom here locally to help us out when either of us have to go OOT for work. M is growing like a weed - she's now 9.5 months old. She's getting super mobile so quickly - its insane! We're also still TFAS (since the last ALL AL check in)...nothing new to report yet Can't wait to see what everyone else has been up to! (Apologies for such a long post!) ETA: Spelling

We're all doing well. My husband has been at his job two and a half years now and really loves it. I'm already kind of freaking out about what comes next when the grant is up in a couple years, but he doesn't seem to be so I'm trying to follow his lead. The Boy turns four this summer which just seems impossible. Little Miss is twenty months going on thirteen. I'm in a slow period with editing right now, but it means more time to read and knit, so it's not all bad. Awesome your H is loving what he's doing! A job you love is so hard to find. And omigosh I can't believe your DS will be turning 4 and DD is already 20 months!! And I agree, time to read and knit sounds wonderful

enchanted - I am in denial about our kids turning 4. Nope. Nope nope nope. I remember when you, me, and boxerific were all TTCAL and now we have 4 year olds! Whaaaaat?! wickedcandy - OMG have fun at the show! That's awesome! I have the jealousy. agpjt413 - {{hugs}} I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad you have some pictures to remember him. AFM, we're doing okay. I'm dealing with some emotional stuff (PPD most likely) - there's a post in PAL if you're interested in hearing my sob story LOL J (4YO rainbow) is doing so well. She's starting pre-K soon and can't wait to be in 'real school' as she calls it. And she's an amazing big sister. I can't get over her sometimes... she's just awesome. And we haven't had any weird eye issues for almost a year! She had these horrible, large, infected stys on her eyes that came out of nowhere. After MULTIPLE pedi and ophthalmology appointments, they've finally stopped. FX they don't come back. C (3.5M rainbow #2) is a totally healthy baby! You'd never know he was so sick and in the NICU after he was born. His pedi and my OBGYN still say how weird his case was. I mean, really... they're not even 100% sure what was wrong with him. But he's fine now and that's what matters! He starts DC on Monday. FX it goes smoothly. Work is bonkers. I came back from maternity leave to literally piles of stuff on my desk and over 2k emails. I've been back for a month and I'm not even close to being caught up. Maybe by next tax season the pile will be gone LOL

Here! Still have good days and bad days. One of my close coworkers is pregnant and she's now officially more pregnant than I made it last year, and I get all the feels about it.
DS is turning 5 this fall and I'm in such denial! No kindergarten yet since he misses the cutoff - plus dude isn't ready emotionally yet - so another year of pre-K.
We are taking him to Disney for the first time in August though!! I can't WAIT to see his face!

wickedcandy SO FUN!!! I think I'm seeing them at the end of June. I like to say that seeing them so many times as an adult is making up for my childhood when my mom wouldn't let me. Have so much fun! agpjt413 so sorry for for the loss of your pup. I suppose the way it happened was better than the alternative, but still. So hard. Many hugs to you. enchanted It's fun to see what milestones your kids are hitting since my younger two are so similar in age. How often do you and YH get to dance? oldbaylover1024 we really need to get on that whole meeting thing. In your spare time, of course. Busy bees over here. I work at a school (in HR) and the summer is my busiest time. I'm looking forward to most staff being off for many weeks so I can get a lot done without the interruption. DS1 is 8 and wrapping up 2nd grade in a week. DS2 is 4 and wraps up his year at preschool and has made amazing strides with his speech. We're waiting to hear if he got into the pre-K program at the school for next year. They accept students based on low income first, then IEP's. And because his IEP is solely speech based, it doesn't rank as high as others. So FX he gets in, because we have no backup plan. DS3 is 20 months, is the first child I've had that has talked so early and it's amazing. He also found his voice and expresses displeasure... very loudly. But otherwise, he's so even keeled and sweet and I want him to stop growing up right now. Between work and school and the older two playing baseball/Tball, we're constantly running. But I love it.

Hi everyone! So good to see everyone's updates, thanks for starting this enchanted. AFM, things are going well. I'm in my second to last semester of nursing school. The plan is to graduate in December and I cannot wait to be done! Our rainbow baby girl is due in August and so far everything is going well. Other than that, not much else to report in my life at the moment.

fikafairy - Eek! Have fun in Disney! boxerific - Eventually I'll just show up at your house with two glasses of wine (or beer, whatever you're into), a bag of Doritos, my kids, and say, "Let's go to the park." LOL FX N gets into pre-K. So glad his speech is improving! cali - Congrats on graduating, but even BIGGER congrats on your A'17 rainbow!

wickedcandy,So much fun! agpjt413, I'm sorry for your loss =( My boy is turning 10 this month, and I'm dreading the day I have to say goodbye. I'm glad that your furbaby didn't suffer for very long. fikafairy, *big hugs* cali, congrats on your graduation! AFM, not a whole lot going on around here. We're just getting back into the swing of things with our daily walks (when I'm off). We went and checked out a new veggie place in town today and spent a little more than we meant to, but we got 3 huge bags of fruits and veggies, so ah well. I'm going to be making a nice fruit salad for this week a little later =) We had a thunderstorm this morning, so everything is a little damp, but the sun came out and it warmed right up, so I'm taking advantage and doing more laundry. I want to start moving some stuff over to the new apartment, but H just went to the gym... maybe I'll move some of the small stuff... TTC wise, still waiting on the call from the hospital for my appointment to get my IUD removed =/ I think I might just call them next week because the nurse at the gyno clinic said she marked it ASAP, but it's been like a month now. Other than that, I'm just trying to get stuff together for Canada day/the convention I'm working that weekend. It's all a little crazy, especially because there's a good chance I'm going to have to come home to work on Sunday, and then go back to pick up H that night (it's about a 2 hour drive from where we live). Apparently one of my coworkers, who knew that I needed that weekend off, decided to go and put in her time off request before I could *grumblegrumble* I'm crossing my fingers that we can get a casual girl hired in the meantime so I can stay the entire weekend, but I'm really not that hopeful.

DD (rainbow #1) is 18 months and I'm currently almost 12 weeks with hopefully rainbow #2. She is doing great and this age is so fun!
Work is meh. I'm fine with being here through this pregnancy.

Hi, everyone! We're doing well. I'm working on renewing my RN license (I let it lapse since I haven't worked in years) and getting back into school. H just got a really big promotion at work (technically it doesn't kick in until probably this winter), so we're really excited about that.
Kids mentioned below....
DS1 is doing pretty well working on getting back to normal after being so sick. His therapists are really happy with his progress, and he made a big breakthrough this week in speech.
DS2 is good. He's a happy little daredevil who talks nonstop and worships his big brother.

Post and run because I am really not feeling well.
I've got a bathroom renovation to do next week. Basically one whole hall is rotting away because of moisture problems and there is definitely mold issues. It's gotta go! Oh well, it's been on the "to do list" for 5 years. So...
Nothing much else going on. Might be going to Pittsburgh sometime this month for a short trip. Not that it's super far away.

Things are good here. It has been almost a year since we moved and started new jobs. There are things we really miss but other pros here. DS is 21 months and really fun. He is learning new words everyday but definitely has toddler meltdowns on the reg. I am now 9 weeks and pgal brain definitely doesn't go away. Love to everyone here.

@heartbot I can do before too!!
Just got back from a Drs appointment because I was coughing up some blood. Seems to be an infection. Dr thinks it's a combination of the mold issue and the fact I smoked out my house with the oven a few days ago. After noon and I'm going to take a nap!

Hi all! Things are going pretty well. The school year is almost over, which I am ecstatic for because this has been a rough year and a rough group of kids. I'm kind of over them for the most part, which makes me a little sad. I'm enjoying the weeks before my summer class starts for my Master's program - I have this summer class, 2 classes in the fall, and a class in the spring, and I am DONE. Hallelujah. MIL is redoing our landscaping around our house, which is awesome. DH and I wanted it done, but finding the time for it has been challenging. She loves doing it, so more power to her. It already looks 10 times better than it did. This summer will be pretty low-key - once my class is done, I'm looking forward to lots of reading, hanging out outside, and spending time with family and friends. We're taking a mini-vacation to Minneapolis in July - hitting up the Mall of America, Minnesota Zoo, and hoping to see some college friends too. //LC and Pregnancy mentioned below// DS is 14 months old. The kid is a hoot, and makes me laugh all of the time. Granted, he can also be incredibly frustrating, but what kid isn't? He is fiercely independent, wants to do everything by himself, but isn't brave enough to let go to walk on his own yet. He loves playing, reading books, and eating. I'm almost 7 weeks pregnant with #2, and have an ultrasound on Tuesday. Hoping and praying for good results, and that this little one continues to grow and thrive. The pregnancy was a little unexpected, as we were expecting things to be a bit more challenging after what it took to conceive DS. So, we are crossing everything and praying that this pregnancy is the same as that one. PgAL brain is still a bitch, but that's to be expected I think.

wickedcandy Is Marley a dog? I ask because my Aussie has epilepsy (for 6 years now). He is refractory to meds but we finally found the right system and he is currently 18 months seizure free. I doubt he'll ever be weaned off any of his meds though. agpjt413 I am so sorry for the loss of your furbaby. I had to euthanize my 15 year old cat last week after a month battle with cancer. It's never easy to say goodbye and I dread the day I lose my dogs (currently 14 and 11). readinglove congratulations and good luck!!! As for me, TFAS. My RE is pushing for IUI (as in tomorrow) and H isn't on board so that's kinda stressful. My rainbow is 2.5 years old now and so much fun. Keeps us busy for sure!

Hi everyone! I'm sorry I'm late to the party, life has been crazy. My sweet little rainbow is 15 months and is the best thing ever. I'm trying to convince H we need to TFAS. He is scared because of the cholestasis and I get it, but I don't feel like our family is complete. We shall see how it works. agpjt413 I'm so sorry about your furbaby. ((Hugs)) love.

eliz77, Yes, Marley is a dog ... lol At her age, (approx 10) it's highly unlikely to be epilepsy

Hello, everyone! Sorry I'm late!
Things have been a little crazy over here. Job stuff has been interesting, union concession votes and stuff. We'll see how that all turns out.
Unfortunately, we also lost our fur baby in April (that's why I've gone with a different avatar). Seamus just got so sick so quickly, and when they did a scan, it showed he has a large mass in the middle of his liver, and that neither his liver or his pancreas looked good. They also believed he had some internal bleeding. They gave us options of admitting him to stabilize him to send him home, doing the same but with exploratory surgery, or saying goodbye. After seeing how bad he had gotten so quickly, we decided we had to say goodbye. I miss him so much, the house still doesn't feel right without him there. I bought my house, and we adopted him 6 months later, so it's almost like he's always been there. MH said someday we will do the same thing, find an older dog that needs a forever home, but right now it just doesn't feel right.
In other news, DD is 14 months old actual/almost 11 adjusted, and doing pretty well overall. We are restarting reflux meds because she has gone on a hunger strike without them, so it seems she might need them a little longer. Her OT and PT are thrilled with her, saying she has really come a long way. Her current favorite thing to do is climb up to the back of the couch, stand on it to look out the window, and attempt to get down by throwing herself backwards off of it. I've made some catches that I could probably be drafted by the NFL at this point. She's just a happy, constantly moving, talking, and laughing baby.
At this point, we are OAD. Though my high risk OB at MFM told me to make an appointment with him after two years to discuss options, both he and my regular OB at this point have told me that they don't think I should try again. Somedays I'm okay with it, somedays I'm not, but one day at a time, right?

XP from IF board roll call
PDQ.
I had something AMAZING happen to me today - we attended an event that helped fundraise for families to receive grants towards family building. At the end they pick one name to raffle one off in addition to whatever they raise to provide grant funds to applicant families.
I'm still in shock, but we WON. My BIL name was pulled out of 100s of tickets!
I'm just 😆😭😆😭😆😭❤️🌈
There aren't words. PDQ in case it's easy to track down where/who I am.
HOLY CRAP!!

Hello ladies, can I go here?
I have a 22 month old DS after almost 2 years of IF (PCOS), and I also had early losses in December 2016 and late May 2017.
I've been getting on here lately, but feeling like I haven't really belonged anywhere since I left my BMB. I've only been posting on TTC's TTCAL thread, and I'm wanting to talk to more ladies who understand. We are currently benched waiting for my period before deciding what we want to do next.
Otherwise I love singing, video games, and being a goofball. I'm pretty laid back and like to chat about anything really.
I hope you all are having a wonderful day, and I look forward to getting to know you <3

Hi! I'm back after a break from my last loss. Catching up now. I'm struggling a bit, so I've been avoiding all things baby and TTC related. All the FB announcements have been flooding in and it's hard. You would think after 2 rainbows, I wouldn't struggle so much. 😕 It's hard to wrap my head around 7 angels. When we started expanding our family 5+ years ago, I never thought this is how things would go. We all have our own journey's and I know so many others within this community who have deeper headache than I could ever know, so I feel awful (almost selfish) for struggling like I am. It's confusing and a lonely place to be.
With that, I don't have much more of any updates. Things stay busy and I feel like I'm on the go constantly. Just doing all the everyday life stuff and trying to keep my family healthy and happy.
Now that I've taken some time away and had a little break, I'd really like to make more of an effort to be involved on the boards again.

Things are going OK here. I'm off this week because my son (4 in August) doesn't have full time summer care and the baby's (9 months today) daycare spot isn't open til July. It's been nice having some time off.
