I went through a big bin of DD1's clothes last night. I have some newborn and 0-3 month clothes but I gave away a lot more than I remember. This new kid is going to be well stocked in the 6 months and up clothes though.
I have two more to go through and already have one bag full of clothes to donate. I can't wait to have the bins done and out of the guest room.
And I also forgot how tiny newborn clothes are. It freaks me out and makes me excited at the same time.

You guys want to hear a super glamourous story?
I went to triage last night because I felt so off and sore all day and my anxiety ramped right up. Baby is fine, I'm fine and my bp was marginally high but no biggie. So that's all good except I still feel like ass. So I go home, go to bed and wake up to vomit violently at about 1130.
But the best part is that I peed myself everytime I vomited, which was a lot, and I don't sleep with bottoms so I was literally kneeling in a puddle of pee while puking. And then I had to clean it up and have a shower. Like a bad puppy.

leatherpants I am laughing too. Wow. Being an adult sucks doesn’t it?? I’m basically a functional zombie. I need to sleep so bad but every time I lay down I hurt.

I got a giant bag of ~3m clothes from my supervisor yesterday, so that'll be fun to sort through sometime. Also, she picked up a bassinet on the side of the road (sketchhhhh) and said it seems basically unused except for one small broken bit that she's going to fix and then give to me. I'll take it, but we'll see if I actually use it...

leatherpants Aww I'm sorry your not feeling good, but I'm glad your able to laugh about it! Pretty much this whole pregnancy whenever I vomit, I've been peeing myself too. The joys they don't tell you about pregnancy, right? The puppy thing did make me laugh and will probably stick in my head the next time I'm sick lol.

leatherpants, I am so sorry, I had that stomach bug 2 weekends ago and it was the literal worst. I hope you feel better soon. I also peed myself while throwing up that weekend. Pregnancy is so glamorous.

sweetc129 hope you're surviving your crazy week! leatherpants ya I definitely pee myself when I puke. 😒 hope you feel better soon! @whoever went to the PO and there was crazy lines, I went to both POs in our town yesterday because I wanted Christmas stamps for my cards instead of the flag ones we have. I noped right back out when I saw the lines. Flags it is. Tomorrow I need to make vegetable pizza and peppernuts and probably some muffins for next week. My SILs and I took over meals for the week everyone is at MIL's since the scare with her heart.(they couldn't find anything wrong 😶) we have a spreadsheet that we're filling out and I am not looking forward to all the cooking. I work Thursday, otherwise I need to clean this house from top to bottom, pick up two Christmas presents that I ordered, wrap those and like two more, and spend a LOT of time in my sewing room. How is there only a week left!??

I'm sorry your sick again leatherpants. I hope you are feeling better soon. I peed myself numerous times since last Thursday including twice in the car. DD was with me for one of them and I had to clean myself and the car when we got home. Of course she asked what happened and I told her. When MH got home she excitedly told him "mommy peed her pants in the car like me". So that was fun.

I’m at the point where I can hardly stand wearing real pants. I made it through my first pregnancy without buying any maternity pants. Although by the time I got to this point, it was spring so I could wear skirts and dresses. I freaking hate jeans so much right now. I take them off within 2 minutes of walking in the house.

What a long drive home from my prenatal appointment (60 miles away) today! The axel under my truck was grinding and squealing while I was there. MH (who's working) thought it would be okay driving it home if I babied it and took my time. Needless to say, it was an interesting drive on a rural highway, with little cell service, and no shoulder, for 60 miles. At one point I struggled to keep the truck on the road and shortly after it sounded like I ran over a bunch of rocks, but I didn't. I think something broke underneath my truck while I was driving. By the time I pulled into our driveway at home, there was smoke coming out from under the passenger side tire area and it smelled really bad...like when a belt in a vacuum goes out, but 10 times worse. I got my girls out safely and in the house. I further inspected that area of the tire/fender and could see some oily/liquid stuff that had sprayed all over. 😨 Waiting for MH to get home and investigate. I'm so, so grateful my girls and I made it home safely and before a fire started! Now we're down our only reliable 4 wheel drive vehicle. 😕
Plus, I lost 2 pounds in the past 4 weeks. My OB was a little concerned since that's never happened in any of my other pregnancies and she told me with my BMI that I need to be gaining. So, I guess I need to be eating better/more. She had a hard time finding baby's heartbeat too and we were both freaked out until she finally, faintly picked it up on her doppler.
Overall, my nerves are frayed and I'm exhausted and emotional right now.

leatherpants Ugh. I'm sorry for the stomach bug and peeing yourself. I pee everyone I cough and sneeze. Gotta love pregnancy and what it does to the body. I hope you feel better soon and can get some rest.

I’m thankful to have saved clothes but they take up so much space. If this baby’s a girl I’m donating a ton of stuff outside of the neutral newborn items.
I can’t believe we’re going to have babies soon, guys. I feel like I’ve been pregnant forever but also like it’s flying by.

I don’t know how you went through a whole pregnancy without maternity pants. I think I started wearing mine way earlier than most, but they were so much more comfortable than regular pants rigged with a rubber band or belly band. I don’t think I want to go back to regular pants ever again.

Just got done at the OB. I love him so much. He’s the only male OB in the practice and he’s the most laid back and calm person ever which is so wonderful for me. I’m glad MH was there to meet him bc he still thinks it’s weird to have a male OB. He seemed to really like him though so yay. Everything is looking good, but I’ve lost a few pounds since my last visit too. I felt like I hadn’t been gaining as much in the last few weeks and my belly seems to not be getting much bigger either. I think I gained more right off the bat and looked very pregnant pretty quickly and now it seems like it’s on pause. Which I’ve heard from several people lately. Kind of freaking me out, but OB is not concerned. babybean I also can’t believe we’ll be having babies soon! It seems like forever ago when We first found out and now I’m in third tri. Can’t say how my mood will be in a few weeks but right now I’m full on excited!

LT for commiseration. I tried to wear jeans today for the first time since around 7ish weeks. I made it 20 minutes and then said nope and changed into leggings.

I am impressed you made it this far!! I was due in July last time so yeah I was wearing dresses the entire time and really didn't need much maternity stuff. This time I pulled out the maternity pants so early. I really hate maternity pants though. They make me feel so sick. Lounge pants forever.

mattsgirl2004 I am sorry for your stressful day. I am glad you made it home safely. leatherpants I also have vomited and peed myself. Sometimes laughter is the best way to deal with these glamorous pregnancy moments. I hope you feel better soon. I had a counseling appointment tonight so we had to eat dinner early. DH was all day today and he actually had dinner ready when I got home. That never happens.

Tapa is driving me crazy and won’t include MA18 in my subscribed list - no matter how many times I delete and re-add it.
I actually have to go and search for you all?! Wtf, I’m too lazy for this nonsense!
