1. 27 weeks, almost to 3rd tri! 2. Just sciatica, feeling great otherwise. 3. Next week, just routine. 4. Not really. I just hope everyone else is doing well and enjoying their pregnancy. Even if symptoms are nasty and things are hard, take a moment each day to feel the baby and enjoy growing a human. The body is an incredible thing.

How far are you now? 24,3 Symptom check: Back pain, anxiety, every kind of exhausted What and when is your next appointment? December 19 with perinatology Anything you’d like to share with the group? Someone give me hair pats that fetal movement is supposed to get a little quiet around now. Iggy had a couple of unusually quiet days last week, so I called it in and was sent to L&D on Friday. As soon as we got monitors hooked up, all the martial arts started up. That lasted for about a day. They've been quiet for the past day or two again and I'm trying not to worry. Admittedly, it's been something of a hectic weekend, so I'm just thinking I missed things, but I still wish they kept up the schedule of movement every morning before I get up and every night as I'm drifting off to sleep. The movements are often weaker now, too, so that doesn't help my brain when told that they're starting to run out of room. Ughhhhhhhhhhh.

1. How far are you now? 10w2d 2. Symptom check: nausea 3. What and when is your next appointment? NT scan sometime in the next two weeks 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? When did you all do your glucose scan? The 1-hr thing where you drink the sugar water? They put that on my first lab slip to do now. Doesn't it seem incredibly early? Last pregnancy they had me do it early (because twins) but I still think it was significantly later than 10-11 weeks... Rama - If you drink cold juice and lay on your side and really count, can you feel the baby enough? Maybe do that for 30-45 minutes a day just to reassure yourself? It's easy to miss movement when you're busy and distracted. If you still don't feel enough movement, go in and go checked, there's no shame in that! Dogpaddle29 - congrats on being almost 3rd tri with twins! Twins are amazing. @pinklantern - fingers crossed baby stays put until your c-section!

Dogpaddle29, yay for a such smooth pregnancy. Rama, I wouldn't worry about going in when you feel nervous. I know I would rather be a pain than regret it later. @pinklantern, You are getting close! moto, I know mine was supposed to be sometime after 22 weeks last time, maybe around 26 weeks? I feel like I've heard of other people doing it earlier, recently, though. 1. I'm 9w4d. 2. Mostly just exhaustion. Some nausea but it's lessening. I will also be starving and then have no appetite a few minutes later. 3. 11 week appointment next Thursday. My 9 week appointment went really well. We could see tiny little arms and legs moving around which was pretty cool. 4. I really liked my new ob and he's willing to do frequent monitoring which makes me feel better. He even texted me his phone number in case something worries me. The only thing that bums me out is that he wants me to do a repeat c-section. I guess as long as it results in a baby, it's fine but it bums me out a bit.

1. How far are you now? 16 weeks, 1 day2. Symptom check: Bowels are still a little annoyed, getting a little hungrier, my lower back gets annoyed easily (we went to see Trans Siberian Orchestra and I was miserable in the arena seats), and I think my bra is getting tighter around my body but not necessarily cup size. Weird. I am SO anxious to feel the flutters or kicks or whatever they will be. I just assume with the anterior placenta it's gonna be a long wait. 3. What and when is your next appointment? Monthly check up with the NP on Friday 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group We got our Panorama results back, and we are having a low risk baby boy! DH and I are ecstatic and can't wait to meet him. Even though I was 100% convinced there was a girl in there, I can't imagine him being anyone else now.. bananas22, I'm glad you like your new OB! It's so much better when you feel comfortable. moto, I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, I'm pretty sure my OB said mine would be sooner rather than later, too. @pinklantern, I love hearing about the kicks and movement! I can't wait for that. Rama, I've definitely heard that drinking orange juice will make them dance a little more for you. Maybe Iggy is just enjoying getting on mama's nerves sooner rather than later @dogpaddle29, that's a lovely sentiment. I am trying to focus more and have more gratitude for each day and experience.

moto, mela99: I did try drinking cold/sugary drinks, but Iggy doesn't respond much to them, the punk. Can't make this easy on me. So now I just piss them off by using my Doppler, I figure fair's fair. Thanks for trying to make me feel better! I just have kind of an asshole child. T^T

Dogpaddle29 sciatica is awful! Do you get any relief? I’m glad you’re feeling well otherwise! Rama I’m sorry about the stress about movements. Have things gotten any better? @pinklantern FX baby keeps cooking! moto I know of a few women who have gotten an earlier glucose test either because of risk factors or clinic preference. @bananas sounds like you have a wonderful OB! GL tomorrow! mela99 congrats on a healthy baby boy! AFM, 1. How far are you now? 11w3d 2. Symptom check: Nausea all day every day, vomiting. Exhaustion has improved a little. Boobs are perma-sore. 3. What and when is your next appointment? I had my first OB appointment today. I’m new to this practice, and after a 90 minute wait, I was ready to find a new practice. The doctor was wonderful though, and it sounds like they had a really unusual day. Hopefully my next appointment is closer to the appointment time! Baby looked great and was measuring right on track. I think I’m feeling brave enough to share the sex (we got the CCS sex result at our 6 week scan). It’s a girl!!! She was moving around like crazy, kicking, waving, and clapping her hands. 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? Possible TW for IVF risks? My OB informed me that since we did IVF, we will have an echocardiogram with a MFM between 16 and 18 weeks because IVF babies have a slightly increased risk of heart issues. I had no idea - have you guys heard about this? Also, she gave me the heads up that the MFM may put me on baby aspirin because IVF can increase risk of pre-E.

birch113 Things have gotten better, thank you for asking. I have heard that IVF babies are at higher risk for things, but never delved too deeply into it with my OB. I hope everything goes smoothly, though, and it's all worries for nothing.

birch113, both my cousin and SIL who did IVF did an echocardiogram because of the increased risk. Both of their babies have had healthy hearts. From what I remember when signing all the consents, it's a slight increased risk from non IVF pregnancies but the absolute risk is still low.

From what I’ve read, the risk goes up from ~.69% to 1.3%. Definitely still a low absolute risk. I’m not going to panic, I was just surprised initially by the additional monitoring.
