I’m so sorry for your loss. We lost one of our kitties a few months ago. It was most difficult for me when I thought about all the life changes he had been a part of. My son doesn’t really understand so he still asks where he is sometimes. Losing a pet is so hard but I just try to remind myself that I gave him a good life and he was very loved and well cared for (even a little TOO loved if the two year old got close enough).

I’m so sorry. She was beautiful! I went through the same thing this summer, my cat Henry that I had for 11 years, it broke my heart so bad. We did what @nellybluth did, he has a shelf with his ashes in a box, paw print and framed pic. We can talk about him now and smile without tearing up, it took a while to get there. I’m so sorry you are going through this. It really is losing family. Sending hugs <3
