Does anyone know at what point you should start to worry if your baby hasn't turned yet? I am a little over 28 weeks and baby is still breech- but I'm thinking it's early enough I don't really need to worry about that yet. I hope not at least!

I highly recommend checking the EWG site on products (detergent, soap, cleaners, etc) that you intend to use on or around baby. So many products manage to hide toxins, carcinogens, hormone disrupters, etc. we were using Tide Free and Clear and it didn’t bother any of my sensitive skinned family. But the site rates it an F. We’ve switched to seventh generation. 🤷🏼♀️ I don't mean to start an argument and we can respectfully agree to disagree but the EWG has absolutely no science or evidence to back up their claims, while countless studies have shown that the additives and chemicals that they demonize are completely harmless and safe. As a scientist I am really passionate about making sure people aren't afraid of ingredients they cannot pronounce!

I asked my doctor at my last appointment (31w) and she said she won’t even bother to check until my next one (35w) bc there is still so much room for baby to turn. I think you’re good for a few weeks!

I am in the same boat but a little farther along! I started the Spinning Babies inversion exercises around 28 weeks and just last week at 32 weeks started seeing a chiropractor who is Webster certified. There are things you can do to be proactive but it definitely is not something to worry about yet! I keep telling myself only 3% of babies present breech at delivery.

DD was breech. For anyone's baby that does stay breech, make sure that they check their hips in the hospital. DD was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and had to wear a brace for 6 months (looking back it wasn't as bad as I thought it was at the time). My cousin's baby was also breech and they didn't check and he has hip issues now at age 4 which are way harder to correct. Not trying to scare anyone, just wanted to make you informed. For this baby, even though she isn't breech, they are still going to check her hips with an ultrasound at 6 weeks because hip dysplasia can also be hereditary.

So I just found the last pregnant pic I took with DD1 which was at 35 weeks too and I look pretty similar. Maybe a tad bigger this time around. Today is on the left and the right is in 2015

Meanwhile LO’s head has been down and low for over a month and I’m freaking out that he might come before the RCS.

I am not a scientist and only have what little research I’ve come across to base my claims on. I would just definitely encourage people to do their own research and choose what they think is best for their family. And in general just avoid items with scent or fragrance. I think most of us can agree on that one.

Baby boy has been head down for a few weeks and I can feel him move pretty low down. The entire purpose of having my C at 38 weeks is to avoid spontaneous labor. I really hope he sticks to this plan.

Some days I feel like her arm or head is about to come out.

sarahh marygracerichAll of the pressure. Ugh. My RCS is at 39 weeks. I have a feeling spontaneous labor is going to happen. I never went into spontaneous labor or felt a single contraction w DS. My water was broken by the doctor. Nothing was natural so I’m worried I won’t recognize labor. Everyone and their Mom keeps telling me I’m low and huge and he’s never going to last until 39 weeks which isn’t helping.

hiimjamie, that's what people keep telling me too. I am the same - never felt a contraction before. I have my maternity leave planned out perfectly so I seriously hope she stays in there at least until I get off work on the 22nd.

And then there is my doctor, who yesterday said “I can almost guarantee you won’t go into labor before 39 weeks.” Bold statement lady, bold statement. Also 😜. Baby is head down but super high. But I’m pretty sure a lot can change over the course of a few weeks!

One woman from my M15 BMI had her baby flip during labor. She was playing music into her vagina (I’m not kidding) and baby flipped before she had to push. She had a healthy baby. 😊

I made stockings for us out of felt applique kits (mine in 2010, DH's 2012 for our first Christmas together, and one for Ava) but the felt was too flimsy and stretchy to actually put stuff in and keep them hanging on the mantle Christmas Eve. This year I feel confident enough in my sewing to create my own pattern and beef them up. I used cotton fabric, quilt batting and then deconstructed the two sides of the old stockings and appliqued the old front onto the new front so I could keep the original stockings but have them be functional. I have a kit for Faith ready to go, after the shower this weekend and the bathroom stuff is done I should be able to knock it out before Christmas and it can hang there too!

@martgracerich WHAT THE WHAT?! aprilz81 those stockings are gorgeous amesie omg!! My first was 7lbs 6oz! This guy is measuring a week behind. I know that’s not super accurate and I guess it doesn’t matter anyway C section. He definitely won’t fit into all the NB clothes we got though! 😂

I keep forgetting to take a picture. I am absolutely exhausted today and have no idea why. I keep having a nagging headache too which is bothering me.
This boy has been way low my whole pregnancy and he balls himself up with his feet over his head a lot of the time it seems like. He’s head down now but I have no idea if he’ll stay or make that difficult too.

I also never used a baby detergent. I definitely wouldn't worry about position at 28 weeks.

I can even tell you the song she said was playing when baby flipped. It’s was “ABC” by the Jackson 5. I think she was in early labor and doing anything she could to get baby to flip. Baby did so and she had a vagina birth.

It’s my birthday today and husband got me a spa day at one of nicest locations in the province. I’ll get to go during my week off over Christmas. So excited!
