Not much going on here. DH promotes to Lieutenant today but a bunch of the squadron guys are all promoting together so they're all flying out somewhere cool to do it. I'm grumpy bc I wanted to pin his new rank! Oh well.
I'm also in the process of getting my dr changed bc DH didn't want me seen by a dude *eye roll* so to avoid a fight I'm just going with it.

dragonflyinn Congrats to your H! But that's kind of weird about the doctor. If you don't care, why does he? I have my first appointment today! It will just be with a nurse, no exam or anything. I'm guessing they'll take urine and blood. Hoping it will still make the pregnancy feel real though. I think I'm in denial a bit.

I am still freaked out about my miscarriage dream last night. And now I have some cramping but it's probably just gas. I hate this.

Not a psychologist or dream expert for that matter!) but I always have the craziest dreams while pregnant. It makes sense that your fears are playing out in your dreams. At the end of my pregnancies I always have dreams that I have the baby but forget to feed it and forget I had it. I wake up feeling awful and it takes awhile for it to go away. |

rebeccabunch Ugh, I always had those dreams last time too. Where I forgot I had a baby, then remembered and couldn't find it, and knew I hadn't fed it? The absolute worst.

Pregnancy dreams area the weirdest! Last pregnancy I can remember two specific dreams.
I was pregnant with puppies but in my arm and there was a window so you could see them (creepy)
The other I had the baby but it was normal to keep babies in a deep freeze and there was a fire and my baby was going to get too hot because the freezer would stop working.

Getting ready for work in the morning with a toddler and nausea is getting a lot harder. DS insisted he do his makeup as I did mine and I just didn't have the energy to stop him from putting concealer and eye shadow all over his face lol
I'm also trying out jolly rancher hard candies to see if that helps out with nausea too. Got a few side eyes from coworkers over my ginger ale first thing in the morning and candies. We'll see how long it takes for someone to ask.

Well I had my first ultrasound... it went exactly how I thought. I'm measuring at 5w6d (I'm 6w2d) but I've been fairly certain I O'd later than I usually do. So it was too early to see anything really. They saw the sac and a little shadow of a flicker for the HB about wasn't confident enough to say that's what it was. The doctor said that it looks very normal for where I am in my pregnancy. They drew some betas today and then scheduled me for another ultrasound next week. The dr wanted to see me early/mid next week but they don't have anything available until next Friday!!! Ugh torture

I desperately need to call and get an appointment with the chiropractor. My back is a mess and is causing a lot of pain. I was supposed to call when I felt "achy" again, and...I didn't. That was dumb.
It feels like Friday, but it's Thursday, and that makes me sad.

Hello! Got the keys to our new place today. Wife is moving some things today and the movers are coming for the big stuff tomorrow. Still annoyed about the appointment yesterday. I'm still spotting brown 100% of the time. I just want to know if everything is ok.

maddisonrose Yup, lower back. DS' pregnancy left me with lordosis (more curve than there should be at base of spine). Chiro did fabulous work on it, and I know I'm going to have to better at staying on top of it. Damn gigantic babies.

I had my appointment and ultrasound today. Everything is good so far. I feel a little dumb about my sky is falling craziness but am so relieved. Measuring right on track at 8w4d!
