1. EDD/How far are you now? 5/4, 17w4d
2. How big is baby? Chipmunk
3. Symptom check: I've had a very bad cold, so an uptick in nausea from the postnasal drip. Also lots of RLP and pelvic and hip pain; it's often uncomfortable to walk. As if that wasn't enough, my arms are falling asleep constantly during the night and waking me up and I've had pain/tingling in my wrists. I'm hoping it's not an early sign of carpal tunnel.
4. What and when is your next appointment? A/S on 12/15. I can't wait to find out what we're having!
5. Anything you’d like to share? I've been feeling a kick or wiggle here and there every day, but today I felt the baby all day long. I love this part!
6. QOTW: What is your favorite group game to play? Nothing I can think of now, but I loved playing Rummy with my grandparents when I was younger. We always played with my sisters and cousins when we would have big sleepovers at their house.

5. Anything you’d like to share? All the genetic testing came back negative and we are having another GIRL !!! 💕
6. QOTW: What is your favorite group game to play? Board/card/yard/etc I love board games, I can play any of them and have fun. Probably Seven Wonders, Pictionary and Trivial Pursuits are my top games.

1. EDD/How far are you now? June 5, 13 weeks
2. How big is baby? A match box car
3. Symptom check: Still some morning nausea, and also if I'm super hungry I'll get nauseous. RLP for sure. Not as tired which is great.
4. What and when is your next appointment? Regular OB visit on 12/11, then we have our elective ultrasound on 12/13 to find out the sex. Super excited.
5. Anything you’d like to share? Just waiting to get a bigger bump and get out of the blump stage. Really hoping to feel some movement in the next few weeks, my favorite part! Also, STM's: have you noticed your older kid being extra clingy? DD has been a little more than normal. She screams when I drop her off in the mornings and is so excited when I come get her. Sometimes she will say "mommy, you came back for me!". Which kinda breaks my heart.
6. QOTW: What is your favorite group game to play? Board/card/yard/etc
Hmm. Don't really play many games lol. Outdoors, I love playing cornhole. I suck though 🤷🏼♀️

1. EDD/How far are you now? May 3, so 17w5d
2. How big is baby? chipmunk/turnip/whatever chart you want to go by.
3. Symptom check: no puking this week, but some nausea still if I wait too long to eat or eat too large of a helping. And hamburgers sound disgusting for some reason. Back pain is lovely, and round ligament pain. I'm also still peeing all the time, especially at night. Fun times
4. What and when is your next appointment? 12/11, meet with the MFM and do my anatomy scan, then a fetal heart echo on the 15th.
5. Anything you’d like to share? I had two cavities filled at the dentist yesterday. My check up was literally the day after I found out I was pregnant. I hadn't been in a while and have a history of dental issues, so they went ahead and did two xrays, which found the cavities. They wanted me to come in during second tri if I thought I could do with without the laughing gas. I agreed, even though they KNEW my dental anxiety was high (I cried when the dentist walked in the room just for the simple exam). I wish they would have been upfront with all this cavity filling would entail. Apparently, the anesthetic in the shots they use when someone is pregnant wears off more quickly than normal. And because the cavities were between two upper teeth, they had to insert this appliance thingy around my teeth and it sits on the roof of your mouth, which the numbing didnt' numb. They didn't tell me that. I got through the drilling just fine, but about jumped out of my chair when they stuck that thing in my gums. THey gave me ANOTHER shot, this time in the roof of my mouth. With no numbing cream beforehand. I was in tears. Had to wait for that injection to kick in. By the time they were able to start the filling, the first numbing shot was starting to wear off and I could feel all of the cold air and filling material they were shooting into my tooth. I was a sobbing mess and screaming. Then they had to give me a third injection and wait again. Oh, and I had to stop 3 times to pee during this hour ordeal. They had some other assistant come in to hold my hand. When it was finally all said and done, my dentist informed me that I still have one more cavity to fill, but she won't do it until after the baby is here. She apparently didn't realize I wasn't exaggerating how bad my dental anxiety is. Over twenty four hours later, and my mouth still hurts.
6. QOTW: What is your favorite group game to play? Board/card/yard/etc
Rummikub is my favorite. We play a lot of weird ones at my in laws house.

daffodilsandcoffee Sounds like you had a rough day. I'm glad they'll wait till the baby is born until the other filling. Treat yourself tonight!!

1. EDD/How far are you now? 5/8, 15 weeks, 5 days
2. How big is baby? Avocado
3. Symptom check: I had some spotting last week and this week with little cramps. My back is starting to get tinges of pain and I'm starting to feel the little scratches or flitters of baby!
4. What and when is your next appointment? Just had one this week. They checked the baby because of the spotting and I got to see him again. Once I knew all looked good, I relaxed and enjoyed his moving around.
5. Anything you’d like to share? Any good prenatal yoga youtube videos or streaming ones? I think it would help a lot with my sore back.
6. QOTW: What is your favorite group game to play? Board/card/yard/etc
I like playing Kubb (a yard game) but its really hard to play with toddlers or kids running around. We don't play board games much and I wish we did.

daffodilsandcoffee that sounds horrifying. I have bad dental anxiety too, to the point where I got my doctor to prescribe me ativan specifically for when I go in. I know I have at least one filling I need to do in the new year when my insurance rolls over (I had surgery to remove 11 teeth this summer which maxed out my dental benefits) and I hit 2nd tri, and I am so not looking forward to it.

daffodilsandcoffee I'm so sorry. I've been putting off a dentist visit because I have the same issues with dental exams. Pregnancy does a number on my teeth, too. I actually broke a tooth the day that I came home from the hospital with V. I need to get in soon for my 6 month checkup and I'm dreading it.

1. EDD/How far are you now? Either June 20 (by LMP) or June 26 (by dating u/s) - my dr will decide when I see her in 2 weeks; somewhere between 10w, 1d & 11w
2. How big is baby? 10w is a Lego figurine
3. Symptom check: sore boobs, horrible insomnia, constant hunger
4. What and when is your next appointment? My first appt with my OB is in 2 weeks
5. Anything you’d like to share? I finally had my first office visit at my OB’s office yesterday but it was to go over my medical history, family history, pregnancy history etc. I can choose between Panaroma or Harmony screening and I’m also choosing to do the NT scan. Right now I’m leaning toward Panorama but I’m not sure since this wasn’t offered when I was pregnant with DS. I’m kinda frustrated with my OBs office. Since I had DS she opened her own practice so things are a lot different. She no longer does u/s, all new staff, and her schedule is crazy. I love her though so I guess I’ll stick it out.
6. QOTW: What is your favorite group game to play? Board/card/yard/etc. I like old school Monopoly

daffodilsandcoffee that sounds so painful. I'm so sorry you had to go thru that. Pregnancy does a number on my teeth (I was just at the dentist Mon) and I have to get a cavity filled next month and they're watching 2 more spots that look soft. I now have a prescription toothpaste (who knew?!?) with more fluoride to help reduce my chances of more cavities (I ended up with 4 after DD was born).

daffodilsandcoffee, I'm so sorry for your dental ordeal. Pregnancy also kills my teeth. I had a tooth abscess 3 weeks after I had my son on a tooth with a crown that had already had a root canal. But by that point I could have all the normal drugs and kind of slept through the process since I had a newborn and was sleeping strange hours anyhow. I need to schedule my 6 month checkup but my m/s is still popping up occasionally and I don't want to gag/puke on a hygienist accidentally.

1. EDD/How far are you now? 6/5, 13 weeks, 1 day today. 2. How big is baby? A jalapeno 3. Symptom check: Symptoms are pretty much gone. I'm getting some side pain when I bend over or slouch at my desk too long. 4. What and when is your next appointment? In three weeks, for my 16 week appointment. 5. Anything you’d like to share? I had an appointment yesterday. Got to see baby! It's growing right on track with a heartbeat of 165. Because of my weight and gastric bypass, the OB is having me starting testing my blood sugars for the next two weeks. If everything is ok, I'm good until 28 weeks when I test again. If not, then I'll likely be doing blood sugar testing for the duration. 6. QOTW: What is your favorite group game to play? Board/card/yard/etc: Cards Against Humanity, Sorry, Phase 10 Bonus ultrasound picture! Attachment Deleted

daffodilsandcoffee I'm so sorry. I have major anxiety at the dentist. When i had a consult about a root canal and crown I was a sobbing mess. I'm so glad they're going to wait until after delivery for the other so you can get the good drugs.

1. EDD/How far are you now? 6/16, 11w4d
2. How big is baby? brussel sprout
3. Symptom check: I'm not as tired, which is amazing. I've already given up my heels due to back pain. Nausea is letting up, but I've also been crazy hungry so I'm eating all the time.
4. What and when is your next appointment? 12/5 intake with my OB. I'll also have an ultrasound and meet with the nurse.
5. Anything you’d like to share? I have announced the pregnancy. I already have a hard time hiding the bump. I carried large with my son and appear that I will again. People at work are starting to notice and ask.
6. QOTW: What is your favorite group game to play? Board/card/yard/etc LRC is a great drinking game. I'm a fan of Pictionary as well.

1. EDD/How far are you now? 13w 3d
2. How big is baby? A lemon I think?
3. Symptom check: Still feeling tired and nauseous off and on, ready for that to end. I've had a lot more lower back pain this week. I swear every once in awhile if I'm sitting right I can feel the baby move. I'm not sure that's really possible yet...
4. What and when is your next appointment? 12/5, first appt with my OB (last appt was with the NP that I dislike).
5. Anything you’d like to share? NT scan was last week- baby looks great and we're 99% sure it's a boy. Even this early it was really obvious. We won't announce until after the A/S.
6. QOTW: What is your favorite group game to play? Board/card/yard/etc We don't play a lot of games anymore... we used to play Apples to Apples in college some? Also yard games in the summer! Now it's kind of hard with DD.

gustierx, I swore I felt movement around 12 weeks. When I went for my NT scan the baby was exactly where I had been feeling it and the sonographer said it was possible.

I swear occasionally I feel pressure like he's turning, or little flutters of movement. Then I thought maybe I was going crazy, ha!

1. EDD/How far are you now? 13w1d
2. How big is baby? Lemon
3. Symptom check: Still tired. I smell everything. Otherwise feeling better.
4. What and when is your next appointment? We met with the MFM and genetic counselor on Monday and we ended up doing a blood draw for NIPT. We had to pay out of pocket ($350) so I didn't think my H would agree to it, but he did. We should get the results this week. We got to see baby too and it was moving all around. Starting to really look like a baby now! Next appointment with the midwives is December 20.
5. Anything you’d like to share? MH is getting antsy to share the news, but for some reason I'm just not into it. We're definitely going to wait in general for at least 2 weeks, but even then I'm not that excited to make an announcement. I'm not sure why.
6. QOTW: What is your favorite group game to play? Board/card/yard/etc We're all about yard games - bocce, cornhole, etc.
