My car is red. You can spot it in any kind of weather. I've yet to be pulled over in it either, and it's been over five years.

I don't agree that it's difficult to find "appropriate" shorts for girls. I see/hear these complaints every summer and I don't get it. Where are you looking? I have never seen these supposed baby daisy dukes keep hearing about. So far old Navy and target had shorties only at my local store. I don't buy it. |

The weirdest for me was attending a shower for a member of the Brit side of the family. They called it a "hen weekend" and it literally spanned the entire weekend. |

I guess I'm at a loss. I didn't know who lonefox was until I kept reading so I didn't have any racial context for reading Scout's response. It seemed she was responding to someone telling her straight up "no you are wrong" about her opinion in goddamn kids shorts. So Srs question do people really think this was a race thing? But if someone told me I was being g combative then it would be fine? This seems like a stretch if you examine the context of just two anonymous posters on the internet interacting. I admit it took me a hot minute to catch on to the insinuation as I was catching up. The black woman bitmoji that lonefox has was a context clue, tho. |

I am so awkward about all things pregnancy. Making a huge announcement in front of a lot of people would be like my worst nightmare. Hell yes. When I "announced" my second, I made a super awkward joke about how the baby wanted all the bruschetta and nobody got it so I just told people "so I'm pregnant" as they walked by me. It was so uncomfortable lol. |
