Anyone want a three year old? A has been acting out, not listening, hitting, etc. I know he is testing boundaries but my patience is getting thin. Thank god for booze!
C has his six month appointment tomorrow. I'm curious to see if he will double his birth weight.
Is anyone watching The Bachelorette? I'm going to open an adult beverage and watch an episode or two after the boys go to bed.

It went good! Dr said he already noticed a little bit of change immediately after the session and seems confident that a few more will help a lot.

classymrsa I just got a mirena. The initial placement was uncomfortable but not terrible. I cramped for a day and spotted for 1 month. Smooth sailing now! 2nd time around I will get the Mirena right away and not mess with the mini pill. Girlfriends freaked me out about the pain so I was scared to get one! They also have not had babies. It wasn't bad.

And in case anyone somehow missed the eleventy pinned announcements, voting is open for gmods. Vote for starbuck and me in the BMB category and/or for me in the Babies/Pregnancy category! Democracy!! 😁

Thanks, ladies! I am thinking I'll go ahead and make an appointment when I get back from Colorado. dashook I've always been really freaked out at the idea of an IUD, but since I can't take estrogen, my options are limited. I've been ok with the mini pill. But before I was more like if I got pregnant it was ok. Now it's more like oh shit. We're not ready to say we're for sure done, but I need a bit more security than the pill so I'm going to be brave and do it. I think.

05:30 heading up to Maine today! 1 B&B never called us back, one wanted to make us book a 2nd room for L, one just didn't have availability, so we are stuck at the IL's which gives me hives thinking about it. FIL was "miffed" that we weren't staying at the house, but now that we are, I hope he doesn't think that changes plans. Goal is for L to meet his great grandmas and other extended family members while keeping him as close to his regular routine as possible. L dictates his schedule with the exception of bedtime (always starts at 8:30pm bath/shower) he usually wakes between 4&5 and again after 7 but yesterday is a classic example of he fell asleep before nursing so he woke at midnight and the night was "off" from there. (Do I sound like a hippie mom?)
FIL doesn't seem to remember this stage, he also has plans (he works at the local race track on Saturday) and I pray he doesn't think I'm rearranging L's schedule around that! L isn't going to the track either. I'm helping plan SIL2's baby shower! MIL doesn't remember that I don't know her friends which is why her 2 close friends are helping too! MIL asked if we could finalize the guest list while I'm up there this weekend (not the purpose) but I can't because I don't know anyone other than family!
I sometimes feel like a DIL from hell for other reasons but this just adds to it!

LOL the photo was staged (just in case anyone didn't know). They aren't 100% but are the closest you can get (aside from permanent options) because there is no "user error" (not taking pills at same time, storing condoms improperly, etc).

kleigh the IUD was behind the placenta (the mom had to have a c-section due to it still being in there). The original story stated that the photo was staged, but you know what the internet is like lol.
