Happy Thanksgiving!!
Our turkey is in the oven.
I was only slightly upset my water didn’t break last night and now I’m stuck at my inlaws all day.

Happy thanksgiving everyone! We are watching the Macy's Thanksgiving parade while the turkey cooks. Luckily my husband was showering when the Rockettes came on because for some reason when they were dancing I started crying. Damn hormones! 😂 I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Hi! We're on our way to my mom's. I made a cranberry/apple pie and a chocolate olive oil cake and now I'm going to sit on my butt for the rest of the day and do nothing. Have a great day everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving! We spent the morning getting the nursery ready and we're going out for dinner tonight.
Right now we're watching Charlie Browne thanksgiving special with DD.

We went to the beach this morning to wear out the dog. I managed to not send myself into labor dispite climbing back up the cliff. DD fell asleep in the car back early (since she woke at 5!) so dh is driving her around while I pack up and now sit and relax. I plan to do nothing once we are at ILs.

Turkey has been made and eaten. Now digestion until pie time.
MIL just told me to go sit down and put my feet up and is making everyone else clean the kitchen.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! There were 16 of us here for dinner, and luckily my Mom had it covered so I didn’t have to do much. Now my feet are swollen and I’m almost in a food coma! Definitely missing DH today, but I guess they had a nice dinner for everyone there, too!

My mom asked if she could take me for a pedicure this weekend because she knew I would be on my feet cooking today.
Yes Mom. Please and thank you.

Happy Thanksgiving all! We are done and in food comas until the evening football game. All morning I kept feeling like I was going to burst into tears for no reason, had some BH contractions, and accidentally cooked the giblet bag with the turkey. (Luckily butterball designs the bag to be cook proof because I guess this happens a lot? Usually they’re in the cavity but it wasn’t there and I didn’t see it stuck to the underside...)
Aside from that it was a nice day, but I’m exhausted!

I survived my day and now happily watching Elf. My mom did all the work and made me sit down and relax. I took her up on it for two reasons: One, I have a pinched nerve in my hip and it makes walking difficult. Two, my MIL told my mom yesterday, "Poor DH. He's so overworked because he works all day and then has to take care of N and give him a bath a night". 😳 Apparently, me leaving at 6:15 in the morning, teaching third graders, coming home and picking N up from daycare, making mine and N's lunches, and making dinner is me not doing anything.

Oh hell no!!! We had a decent Thanksgiving. I overdid it a little bit, but H and his grandma helped me out a lot. Thank God because the other 10 people didn't seem to mind the 600 month pregnant lady making them all food. The food was delicious but so disappointed in the Cowboys this year.

Hi! Thanksgiving was nice but I've been feeling first tri sick today which is not fun. H took E to the store and I'm in a bath. If I feel better we'll put the Christmas tree up tonight!

sarahandben108 - I cannot believe she said that. So completely ridiculous. I know. My MIL is interesting. She's at 150% all the time. When my H was growing up she told him and his older brother "everything you do is perfect to me. You can never do anything wrong in my eyes". Lets just say that my H wasn't punished or held accountable often while growing up. Luckily, he matured and is one of the most responsible people I know.

Feel better veganontuesdays, I've noticed that I have had more nausea lately as well. It is definitely not fun.

sarahandben108 I’m sorry your MIL said that. I love my MIL but she says similar things at times that make my eyes roll out of my head. Or she’ll say stuff like “oh that’s when you were working...” since I’m a SAHM now. I usually just roll my eyes at her or laugh about it with H, but when you’re this pregnant it can be super annoying!

Especially with a pregnant wife due in less than two weeks. Luckily, my H doesn't have the same feelings as her and he doesn't mind doing extra as needed. I actually think my mom was more pissed off at the comment than I was. I'm used to my MIL.

sarahandben108 - that's special for sure. Good grief. That would drive me bananas. I'm glad your husband is an adult despite her best efforts.

sarahandben108 Those kinds of comments drive me nuts! My MIL has referred to my H watching our daughter as ‘babysitting’ and recently was appalled that my husband would take my daughter to the bathroom. Like your H, my H believes in sharing parenting responsibilities thankfully!
