We are having a rough go of it over here too. DD’s cough won’t go away and she’s been wheezing. I brought her in to the dr yesterday. It’s frustrating cause they didn’t really diagnose her with anything but they sent us home with a nebulizer and she’s on breathing treatments. They help for a bit but then she’s back to coughing. It gets so bad she pukes. I feel so bad for her.

We are supposed to be going to the Christmas tree farm to get a tree today, and I feel like I’m dying. Yay.

nellieoleson, dd3 was also up at 4:30 this morning. She's teething canines still. One has broken through, but the others are taking their sweet time.

So my niece who is just two dislocated her arm yesterday. My sister was holding her hand and she jerked away fast and pop. The sad part was nobody realized it for a bit until my mom arrived and noticed she wasn't using her arm. Poor kiddo. They got it relocated no problem and I guess fox said they do a lot of those 😬 glad my mom went to their thanksgiving or they might not have figured out what was going on for a while. And next time hubs rolls his eyes because i tell him not to swing L by the arms I will smack him. I am pretty sure I gave myself a hernia yesterday. My stomach muscles never really closed after pregnancy. They are strong but there is a pretty big gap. And pop. I pushed it back in and had instant relief but pretty sore today. Finally I think we want to get L something that plays music for Christmas. Any thoughts? My ideal device would be something we could do something similar to i tunes with so she could have a variety of music. Kid stuff and other favorites. She knows so many words to "Georgia on my mind" (willie Nelson version) and demands it all the time. So just a total kid device probably wouldn't do it. But I don't want to spend a fortune on something easily destroyed...

crimsonandclover - canines are the worst. Worst worst worst. And sooooo slow. kcrkcs - that happened to my niece. My SIL was holding her hand and my niece started throwing a fit and threw herself on the floor. Then she started screaming YOU BROKE MY ARM! YOU BROKE MY ARM! And this was all in a public place. Yikes. The doctor said it was a really common injury for toddlers.

kcrkcs my girls have an old CD player and an assortment of cds and books on tape. They love it. Dd3 doesn’t understand how to use it, but dd2 (3) uses it with great skill. Not sure that’s what you’re looking for, but it’s been fun for them. crimsonandclover canines suck. I’m pretty sure we are dealing with 2y molars here.

I'm so sore. I spent 10 hours at my mom's house helping them make Christmas ornaments. She's started going to craft fairs. She did one last weekend, there's 2 tomorrow, 2 next weekend, one 2 day one the weekend after, and one the weekend after that. The 2 day one is expecting around 10,000 people. Last week they made almost $400. She's hoping to make this a full time thing, and next year go to the BIG 4 day fair that our city does twice a year. I put felt and loops on probably 100 ornaments today.

In the next 2 weeks, there are 4 activities for which we are supposed to make baked goods and kindly requested to take a shift selling them. 3 of them I just found out about within the last week. Why does everyone think it would be a fantastic idea to do some sort of sale thing in December?? I mean, I get the Christmas stuff. But one of the things is a "book flea market" (where the kids bring their used books to sell to each other) at DD1's school including a bake sale. Is there a reason this has to be in December? No. A book sale can be in February, tyvm. We do not need to pack it into December.
I'm doing a shift at the one I've known about for months, but the others I'm taking a cake / cookies and just dropping them off. If you cannot give me advance warning, I cannot reserve a babysitter and time to supervise your stupid sale. Harumph.

M can finally rock the teeny pigtails! I'm so excited.
The craft fair my mom is at today is tiny and super slow. I was there for an hour and saw 2 other customers. There's like 10 vendors. My mom got an a extra table because the girl who was supposed to have the one next to her got in a car accident on the way there. Apparently she's fine, but her car is totaled. I'm trying to decide if I should go to the one they're doing this evening. It should be busier and more fun. I think it will depend on what time it is, maybe I'll go after the kids are in bed

We decorated the Christmas tree this morning. I was worried about how much dd2 was going to destroy it, but she’s being pretty good about it so far. Taking off ornaments for sure, but being gentle and not too crazy about it.
Dd1 is sooooo excited for Christmas. She keeps asking if she can go to bed because she thinks that will make Santa come. Ha.

I'm sorry for all the sick kiddos! dizzycooks , did I miss that you're having another girl? Or are you just guessing based on track record? :-) Well, my Dad is home from the hospital. They did an angiogram and discovered a few blocked arteries, and they were able to put stents into two arteries that were 90% blocked. He is having to do some physical therapy for his heart and wearing some sort of defibrillator vest for the next couple of months with the hopes that his heart function improves. Scary stuff but they seem to think he can get better. Thanks for all the support. I'm trying to decide if I should try to go see him before Christmas. They were planning to come see us at the end of January for LOs birthday, but it looks like they won't be able to travel now. We've been having a lovely holiday weekend in Asheville. Back to reality tomorrow. I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving!

I think we have Santa presents figured out. Dance for M and martial arts for S. And so they have something to open we're going to wrap up the clothes they need for them.

I think we have Santa presents figured out. Dance for M and martial arts for S. And so they have something to open we're going to wrap up the clothes they need for them. That’s exactly what we are doing. Well, different activities... We were going to put our tree up today, but dh didn’t get the stuff out so, another day I guess. I have a terrible cold. Dd3 has a terrible cough. We need to rest. I’m dragging through the day and kind of dreading tomorrow. In other news, dh came home from church today and said something about me not going back to work. My head is spinning. I’m not sure I believe him, but I think the childcare bill may have sunk in...

dizzycooks H decided the activities should be from us, and the Lego we already bought and a Barbie or something will be from Santa. I think we're going to decorate Friday after school. We might need a new tree.

I got some some stuff on Amazon, PBK, Body Shop, etc for Christmas presents. Still need to figure out what I’m doing for nieces and nephews. And my husband. 😳
I did the bare minimum inside this year for Christmas decorations. I like it better. I think I’m becoming a minimalist.
