Prior to starting IVF, I really liked running and used that as a stress reliever and to stay in shape. I was able to keep running up until the past two weeks, now it is just too cold and dark when I get home to continue. Plus, it was starting to cause some major pelvic pain!
I am having a hard time finding a replacement exercise- does any one have any good Youtube videos they enjoy? I tried a few Prenatal Yoga ones this weekend and I liked them but want to pair them with something that is a little more cardio focused as well. I don't know how much longer I'll feel like working out (26 weeks right now) but I want to try to as long as possible!

Do you have any equipment at home? I know with my first, I found some decent prenatal kettlebell workout videos on Youtube too. Those were good and worked up a sweat. I am not doing them now b/c I only have a 15 lb kettlebell and I lift my 30 lb kid all the time so I feel like why bother?!
You could also check out something like Grokker. I think you can do a 1 or 2 week free trial to check out their prenatal videos.

Besides chasing after my kids l do not excercise. It’s embarrassing especially at annual physicals where l have to admit it. l haven’t officially since before wedding 7 years ago so l have no advice now. BUT... my plan is to get in awesome shape once I’m past the initial newborn/nursing all the time phase so I’ll be here with you post partum with my quest to tone up!

Before pregnancy I always liked Zumba YouTube clips and you might be able to modify to make it less intense if need be for pregnancy. If you don't enjoy dancing, ignore that suggestion

I put on nylons/tights this morning...it sure felt like a workout when I was done!! In all seriousness though I will be lurking this thread for ideas. I need to get my butt moving.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'll check those out. And rebeccabunch I am pretty sure chasing the kids counts as exercise!!

Haha, I know what you mean! I have a feeling once baby gets here I am going to be even less motivated than I am now, so that's why I want to try and keep up my workouts as long as I can. Being sleep deprived and in a newborn haze- I am pretty sure I am not going to be getting many workouts in then!

I'm a barre instructor, so I'm definitely partial to that type of exercise, plus it is GREAT during pregnancy and good for the pelvic floor. I'm sure YouTube has a bunch if you search for "barre workout." I also recommend the Tone it Up girls - they also have a ton of free YouTube videos. They should have cardio ones, too.

Mine is definitely having a 2 and 4 year old. And having to dress us in winter gear now haha.
Prior to getting pregnant I had finished a 90 day challenge from Bikini Body Mommy and plan to follow more of her videos when I'm ready to get back into it post partum again. I actually kind of miss it, which is saying something I think! So no real ideas for you while still pregnant, but something to check out after! There's usually a workout group doing it on here (I did it on TCF but they carried it over to one of the boards here) and it's nice to have the accountability and people to check in with daily.
