MH likes to make smoothies but we keep breaking cheap blenders.
Please to tell me what to buy, you guys are good at that. I like to do the least.

If you're using it for smoothies, I love my NutriBullet. It's held up for almost 4 years now.

I love my ninja! It's new ish, so I can't speak to longevity, but it gets daily plus use and I've been very happy with it so far.

Yes, if it's just for smoothies, I'd get a Nutribullet. They're great.

+1 to ninja! We don't have the one with the food processor, just the blender. We have had it almost 2 years I think? It's loud but SUPER effective.

I have a nutrininja (bullet style) and a ninja pro blender. #blenderrich
I generally use the ninja more, maybe because I had it first so I am used to it. The bullet came as a free gift with purchase of the ninja coffee bar. I think the bullet is better at processing down whole foods...apple chunks, carrot chunks etc but the ninja works great for more basic smoothies, protein shakes, margaritas. Plus that one I have a pitcher for so I can make enough for all of us and the bullet I only have single serve containers.
Also the ninja pro can do cookie and pizza dough but I haven't tried it out.

Ditto. We got a great deal on ours at Costco 5 (?) or so years ago, and it's been great.

Co-signed. I use it 4-5 times per week and have had it for 4 years. It pulverizes veggies for my smoothies.

We got the ninja from Costco with the food processor. We use the blender every day and the processor at least once a week and we can't say enough good things about it!

Are you going to be putting greens in your smoothie? If so go with a Vitamix or a Hurom.

I want this but I don't really want to spend the money right now. Plus, it's really just for smoothies, I rarely use a blender otherwise.

Yes, they are almost always kale/spinach based. We put tons of greens in ours and the Ninja has been great Kale and spinach are NBD. Something like lemongrass would need a stronger blender.

Another vote for the ninja. We have it without the food processor. It was a game changer for me.

We have the ninja and love it. Lots of smoothies and I even used it to make baby food for F when needed.

Vitamix.
We bought refurb to save money. Their refurbished are used at demos and stuff, not by consumers. Still perfect after at least 5 years now. Getting 1 super high quality appliance has been worth it.
